• Sections of color are missing to fill my illustration Illustrator (CC2015)

  I have works of art that has been created in previous versions of Illustrator and recently when I opened the files, there are sections of missing color.  These sections do not appear mode plotted.  I can usually get rid of the blank spaces by redrawing outlines/smoothing to the region where it is located.  Anyone know what could cause this problem?   I found problems like that, and spent ages their fixation only to realize was actually a screen problem, that is not really there.

  try to change your view "Overview on the CPU" and see if it goes away. If yes then its down just for your graphics card I think that the problem has disappeared since I changed my graphics card.

  before changing the map, I only managed to get illustrator to show properly or go to the overview of the CPU instead of GPU or distorting the small tight turns as you have no doubt there, that this new Illustrator apparently does not.

  export the file in pdf format and verify in acrobat and perhaps export to jpeg format too, just to reassure you that this is just a bug screen illustrator.

• Script to work around bugs in Illustrator

  Newbee here, we work in Illustrator CS5.  I've gathered a few scripts and Actions for automating many parts of our work.

  I'll start with what we have now.  What we have now works on Mac and PC, and if there is a way around these BUGS, it should work on Mac & PC.

  (1) we have a .ai (our default format) file that we can open and inside the text fills in automatically when you start a script. (see Custom below script) Some text boxes fills in the date based on the current date on our computer, some areas of text fills a name based on the name of the electronic .ai file.

  One of the difficulties that I have worked on is, sometimes in one of the fields in the file, it must have a name composed of only 4 sections (or 3 dashes). In the example: ILSLIM = 1, = 2, TEST 3 = EXAMPLE & AA01 = 4.

  

  Thus, when it then produces the last indent in this area of text on our format (not all of the other text boxes) will need the 3rd indent removed (now it's only 3 sections because TESTAA01 has become a).

  

  So I created an 'Action' Illustrator who will be after the 'ChangeFileNameDate' script is executed, 'The Action' will select the text area and then run 'Search and replace' to remove the 3rd indent as seen above.

  NOW THE PROBLEMS!  (Illustrator bugs)

  (1) in Illustrator 'Actions' when you save an 'Action' & the 'Insert Menu Item... ". "lets put a Script, it will work.  BUT when you exit out of Illustrator & then start the custom Script again will disappear. I looked in this & it's a known bug for years in Illustrator which is still not fixed.

  SO the only work-around, I can get to work for now is to «Insert Menu Item»... ««Other script...» "& it will remain same after restarts, BUT whenever we run 'Action' we must manually select the script. (SHIT)

  MORE A BUG with the 'Find and replace' registration.  In case you don't know, when you save 'Actions' in Illustrator, you can; save one of the actions that require a dialog box; ((1) to-for either have the dialog go up then you can get everything you need in it or 2) you might NOT get dialog box up to & action will do whatever she had in her when she you recorded.  This feature is turned on or off by clicking on the box next to the check box on or off (see photo).

  

  The BUG is so, for my 'Actions' that use the "Find and replace" to remove the dashboard to work for some reason that I have to have the first "find and replace" stages of dialogue botton ON so that the "Find and replace" dialog box opens.

  Let me explain, when you register to use the "Find and replace" it works perfectly even with the dialog box option clicked but if you quit Illustrator and then restart it and try to launch "Actions" which have the "Find and replace" in them then Illustrator crash.  So the only work around that I found for this BUG DIPSHIT is simply having 1 'find and replace' in the 'Action' registered with the dialog box set to (to open when the Action is performed) and then must manually close it.  We owe nothing within this type.  He must simply open & close and then have it.  Then for some reason any the rest of 'Actions' recorded will run out with boxes of open dialogue with the removal of the 3rd dashboard as when I registered 1.

  So basically, if I want to 'Actions' to work at this point I must do this.  whenever I raise the Illustrator I would need to manually load the script custom 'Actions' and I would need to open and close the box "find and replace".  It's the whole issue of the 'Actions' CRAP & Scripts are so I can do everything MANUALLY, no..  We should be able to make it work for us!

  OR maybe that would be the best solution!

  
  

  If in the "ChangeFileNameDate" custom script, it could just open and then close the box "Find and replace" (which would solve the bat with "Find and replace" in 'actions') then the custom script could cause 'The Action' to play instead of 'The Action' causing the custom script to play.  All we would have to do is slip down to the custom script of 'File' & who.  No don't crash, no babysitting.

  DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW OR IF THIS IS POSSIBLE?  To add to the attached script:

  (1) initially to open and close the box "find and replace".

  (2) at the end to cause 'action' saved to run.

• Sanskrit fonts will not display correctly in Illustrator CS5 for Mac.

  I tested with Illustrator CC - 2014 PC with preferences > Type > Language Options > Show CL Options enabled and it seems to work fine. View Adobe Devanagari is assigned by default. (same result with Illustrator CC-2014 on Mac with Yosemite 10.10.3). It also works with Sanskrit 2003, which seems to be the font used in the online sample.

  I have been using Adobe Illustrator for some years, since I downloaded the CC version my shortcuts stop and start working for example

  I'll push cmd + z to undo, but it does not work, I keep pressing it and after three or four times, it works.

  This does not occur when I use other products CC, it only happens in artificial intelligence.

  Is this a bug in artificial intelligence, or is there something I can do to remedy this?

  I use the iMac, Retina display if that helps.

• Impossible to install Illustrator CS2 on Mac OSX Yosemite

  I'm unable to install Adobe Illustrator CS2 on my mac (OX Yosemite 10.10.3) because it gives the error "The Installation HFS disk no is not supported." However, the drive that I installed is HFS + and should be able to withstand that. In disk utility, I confirmed that the format is Mac OS extended (journaled), what is HFS +. I also ran check disk and disk utility repair disk, but both showed that the volume seems to be OK and I still couldn't install Illustrator.

  Does anyone found a workaround for this problem? I've seen a few old threads blocked on this issue, but they did not provide an answer to my question.

  CS2 can not be installed on OS X Yosemite at all regardless of the format of your hard drive.

  CS2 is a PowerPC application intended for the former PowerPC based Mac processors.

  Macs today have Intel processors that cannot run PowerPC applications without the Rosetta utility previously made available by Apple. OS X not supported Rosetta since OS X 10.7 "Lion" for Mac of today cannot run PowerPC as CS2 applications.

  Hello Adobe Creative cloud users, I have an urgent problem, I hope that you can help me with:

  I have a subscription year of CC running since the beginning of December 2015. Somehow I've always used versions "trial" of programs. Since yesterday, when I want to use Illustrator, the application manager appears and says my trial is over. To use Illustrator, I have the choice between registration and purchase. When clicking on 'register' it won´t accept my e-mail and password, saying: there is no account connected to my address. When you click on 'buy' I get sent to the Adobe homepage where I can connect with the same addy and password and can access my account etc. So won´t I would buy, stating that I have a membership already where it is included. It s obviously a bug, but I have no idea what to do with her and urgently need to work on with a pressing client project.

  Anyone experienced the same problem in the past and has a solution for me? Chat / phone-supported is no option because it is only available from Monday. On the frequently asked questions I coudn´t find the problem either. I already tried to uninstall all CC but got the error "other programs installed still need the CC" so who does not work either. I uninstalled all products CC already one, CS6 is still there, so maybe that's the problem? But I'm not delet ethat minimum that still works.

  2. turn off start point, check virus and firewall software

  3. exit the Setup program, and then try again.

• Illustrator changed my Mac Desktop Icon color fonts :(

  When I left an Illustrator, he asked me if I wanted to use the chosen font of my color for my Mac Desktop Color fonts project! I made the mistake of clicking Yes!

• Uninstall Illustrator CC on Mac

  Hello

  I have Illustrator CC and CC 2015 Illustrator installed on my Mac (OS X 10.10.3).)

  I want to remove Illustrator CC and keep Illustrator CC 2015.

  I tried an uninstall for Illustrator CC program in the Adobe uninstaller and the application folder folder, but I don't see those for 2015 CC. I guess that uninstaller CC got deleted when CC 2015 installed, but the actual application are not removed.

  Any ideas? Anyone know where I can download a standalone uninstall program Illustrator CC?

  Josh I suggest you refuse all versions of the applications that you have updated to the latest and you do not want to use.

  Restart your machine after that and then try to use the CC 2015 versions.
