mixed formatting variables in RH7?

My client has a Submodule with a mixed format name, for example "Sha-BANG"(with the second part in italics in the case who does not appear). I don't see a way of formatting part of a variable in RH7, although I read it is possible in RH8 - does anyone have ideas how to efficiently enter this term throughout the project?

Formatting (style) is part of the definition of the Variable and is independent of the variable itself, it gives you freedom to have different formatting based on the value, but this feature came in RH 8 and I fear in HR 7, you cannot apply formatting separately on the definitions.

I have a variable called beginDate. It stores the value 01-07-2012, 2012-07-31.
Now, my requirement is I need display the value in the report as 07/01/2012,07/31/2012...
I tried the below a it gives the value 07.

I created a dashboard command prompt by using a date field and used a presentation variable to store the value of the field date and passing to a report. I want to do an advanced search in the report rather than simple filtering based on the line of dashboard.

When I get the value of the variable of presentation in the report, it as DD/MM/YYYY and string. When I try to mount this Date / timestamp object, it throws the error message indicating that the system if he waits to DD/MONTH/YYYY format (LUN is JAN, FEB etc instead of 01, 02 etc.)

I'm looking for so a way to fit the date field in the prompt to MON/DD/YYYY dashboard so that I can throw directly into the report for any use. I would like to avoid making mainpulation chain with complex if the instructions to convert the MM and MY format in the target report

FWIW... MS Picture It! 2000 is an obsolete program and will continue to cause problems, even if you manage to find a way to run it. If you have the original install CD... It may be interesting to try to uninstall/reinstall the program, but there may be problems if you are running Internet Explorer 7 or 8. You can also try running them in Compatibility Mode for Windows 2000.

I would certainly create a system restore point before uninstall/install any software.

I can only imagine that you have saved your pictures to .mix format which is not compatible with other image editing software.

IMHO... your best bet for the future would be to convert the .mix in .jpg or .png format files so they would be compatible with current image editing software.

There is always a trial of 60 days of MS, Digital Image Suite 2006 download. This software will be compatible with your .mix files and using the MiniLab you can batch convert them in .jpg format. (the number of files that you can convert at any given time will depend on your system resources I'm guessing 50 might be a place to start)

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)

I tried to find a solution and had to get PhotoDraw installed on my old XP computer instead [the only OS that I could install on]. The mix format was abandoned after PhotoDraw / Picture It.

I have two drives with images saved in the .mix file. I currently need a program that I can download that will recognize the .mix file so that I can get the re-registered in .jpeg format. It is possible. Set your var cf before the body html tag and run your js function in the body onLoad event handler.

iconic buttons at design time. Is it possible to take their icons from the pot, or at least of gif files?

I put my button icons in a signed gif, and they work fine when running.
The problem is at design time, I can't display their icons properly.
I have to convert the GIF to ico and place them in a folder referenced by the UI_ICON registry variable old.
Also, since gifs are 16 x 16, they are harvested at the time of the design, because I see them as if they stretch to size 32 x 32.
At least, it would be enough, if I could place the gifs directly somewhere, without conversion to ico.
It seems as if oracle did not put all development work in the generator, which is like a direct version 6i c/s port.

Since you don't mention exactly what forms version you are using, I guess that and I guess it's one of the many versions after 6.0.8. The 9.x + Forms Builder supports gif, jpg and ico files. It does not however read of a jar. Therefore, you have to extract to a directory defined by UI_ICON. In addition, the files must be of the same type (jpg, gif, ico). Mixing formats is not recommended or supported. The format of your choice can be defined in UI_ICON_EXTENSION

So, for example in your registry, you might have something like this:

UI_ICON = C:\myImagesDirectory

UI_ICON_EXTENSION = gif

"Gif" being the default, there is no need to set this if you use "GIFs".

Update of FF 21.03 presents the problem of rendering - 21.0 FF now has the same problem

The site I use to invest (Royal Bank of Canada investment Direct) now does not correctly the data in a table like format (variable number of lines). A larger size font is used which often causes wrap around. In one case, a table is now given a manufacturing rather dark gray background fearing difficult.

Two versions of FF have now the problem - it seems that maybe it's just a setting, but I couldn't see anything obvious.

I would avoid all reset if possible.

I seem to have stumbled on a solution purchase that goes back to the first proposal and try some variations.
The default value for the default font is 16. (Parameter: font.size.variable.x - West)
When I put at 14, the problem disappeared. Weird!

Thanks for your post. The bundle name is a very useful feature when you want to mix data types. In the example that you have downloaded, you mix two variables double precision with a data type of table (which just happens to contain the double itself). The package by the name function allows to transmit data as a cluster if there are pieces of information that are related in some way.

For example - a cluster of error contains a Boolean value, a signed integer (error code) and a string. This means that you can pass the cluster through your code instead of having three individual wires for each. You can also use clusters to store sub-vis terminals; notice so how error and error take upward the two terminals of basically rather six if they were wired individually.

In addition, since you can use a beam of name there also a name unbundle so using the example of the error code if you want the Boolean value which has been adopted but not the code of error or string, then you can pull just the data in the cluster. This is often used on the inside while loops with a stop button and a Golden Gate connected to the stop condition.

Clusters are often a resource utilized in LabVIEW, but they are very very useful!

As for the 1 / x function, as with any frequency analysis one would expect it's a converson of frequency (Hz) time (s). It is not uncommon to see this feature just be careful with the factors of 2 * pi compared to angular frequency.

I've reloaded the program, but may not have to work properly to open photo .mix format files-Can even not get the site to register the product again - when I try to open the image files, the program gives me an error message that it has stopped working and leaves the program. If you want to play on a hd tv the project settings must be 16:9 (the 1.0 pixel aspect) and export should be with a pixel aspect ratio of 1.0

Old-fashioned 4:3 tv has a different aspect ratio: only solution would be mpeg2 in the dvd settings.

Mix formats is always going to be a pain. Especially such a range.
