  Hide you? Try to activate "Show all" to see.

  Did you move it? Try searching all the folders (for example, Applications, downloads, etc.) to see. Make sure you have "Show all" active there as well.

  Have you installed a new theme? Those who can hide things away.

  If all those who fail, then I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

  (2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  This morning the web browser icon is missing on my Blackberry Storm. How can I get it back?

  On BB, access to a range of services is enabled by the existence, on the device, the appropriate Service books. Service books are delivered to the appliance by the network of carriers... but, normally, only for these models of specific device that takes the network carriers supported and none support BB all models. If, as you think, your carrier supports no. BB models, then you can't expect their network to offer the Service books, which means that these services that require some SBs won't work, which includes MMS. But only they can answer the question of whether to their network supports the BBs at all and your specific model BB in particular number.

  So I've had my blackberry for about 3/4 months now and it has been working pretty well since,

  But recently in the last two weeks, my phone starts vibrating randomly and a 'flagship' App will appear once or twice a day on my phone screen and only give me the option to download and nothing else in this case, I escape it using the button "hang up."

  I'd really like to know how to get rid of these Apps 'flagship' appear on my phone screen randomly.

• Option of MMS of blackBerry Smartphones is a party!

  I recently bought my 8310 on ebay for ATT. When I got the phone, the software was 4.2, so I immediately updated 4.5 software and install it. I did not notice until today when I tried to send a picture message, that option had completely disappeared. I don't get the option to send a SMS, PIN or by e-mail.

  Do I have to reinstall the software of the phone, and if I do, how?

  I searched Google for a while before posting with nothing will do, so please don't be angry if this has been answered before.

  Did a bit of research into why this happens and I figured out how to fix it.

  I downloaded and installed JL_Cmder and did a full OS wipe my phone. After this program wiped my phone, he gave me a "507" error screen I then connected the phone to DTM and reinstalled Blackberry OS 4.5, even download I used the first time. I have synced my backup and now I have MMS on my screen of options and menus!

  I don't know what happened the first time I installed the operating system, but I did the job. Thanks for all the help!

  First, do a simple reboot and see if it reappears: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Otherwise:

  1. on your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.
  2. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, etc.
  If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

  lol, Yes, all the information is good to have at the outset.

  You need to activate the device on your network or BES first, as the BlackBerry Maps application is activated by a Service book which is pushed during activation.

  Connect to your BlackBerry Desktop Software > Applications and you don't see it listed as disabled?

  What was before and everything has disappeared? If you change the theme (Options |) Theme) is still missing.

  Try the re-registration of the device by going to Options | Advanced options | The host routing table. Select the "BOLD" entry, press the menu button and select Save now. That should send a message of registration of your provider to the device. Then try to remove the battery for 30 seconds.

  I have a blackberry curve 9320 almost 5 weeks with os version 7.1. It worked fine until a few days ago...

  the trackpad generally works very well, I ran the test of the device as well and it is entirely ok.

  When I use one of the text based applications like e-mail, SMS, gtalk, etc than the trackpad and down movement doesn't scroll not in reality through the application. in most cases, I use moves left and right to scroll through the character by character, which is very frustrating. I activated the trackpad and tried, the trackpad gives the sound of scrolling when I try from top to bottom, but nothing actually scrolls.

  I recently let my brother use my phone and long story short when he gave it back I was missing the volume icon.  I can't get it back.  I can only go to vibrate through the square key.  If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

  See if it is hidden. From the main screen hold down your ALT key, then click on an icon and choose Show all. See if you see your profiles icon then. If you do just ALT + click on it and uncheck Hide

  Alternatively you can try to reset the theme. Go to Options | Theme. Of in this screen, press the menu key, and then choose Reset default theme.
