Weird blackBerry Smartphones feature of the trackpad

I have a blackberry curve 9320 almost 5 weeks with os version 7.1. It worked fine until a few days ago...

the trackpad generally works very well, I ran the test of the device as well and it is entirely ok.

When I use one of the text based applications like e-mail, SMS, gtalk, etc than the trackpad and down movement doesn't scroll not in reality through the application. in most cases, I use moves left and right to scroll through the character by character, which is very frustrating. I activated the trackpad and tried, the trackpad gives the sound of scrolling when I try from top to bottom, but nothing actually scrolls.

    Backups of the messages so I am not concerned to retrieve their content in the phone itself.  However, how can I get the icons back so that I can access the features of the phone?  This is a common occurrence when the battery is low?  Everything seems to happen 40% white screen in 3 hours during which the phone was not on active service in terms of excessive electricity consumption.

    I can't find anything to help in the guide of the user or the site.  Thanks for your comments.

    With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I tried to reboot my device by removing the battery and reinsert. The restart process gets to about 60% of the way through and then stops.
