  What happens if I delete the photos form my iPhone Camera Roll after that I imported into Lightroom Mobile? LR will keep a copy or a re-sync causing my pictures to get lost?

  Hi Nick,

  If you imported the images and sync them in Lightroom using Lightroom for mobile, the images will be available in Lightroom mobile even if you remove the iPhone film.

  I can't synchronize collections between mobile lightroom and lightroom cc. I think as lightroom mobile sync is not enabled on my Mac and so it syncs. I created a collection on my mobile and received an email that it is ready to be viewed on my computer, but it did not appear.

  With the recent announcement of Lightroom Mobile is free on Android and iPad, I adapted my workflow to use LR Mobile to perform a selection of image to edit later, for example, I am going through images, choose the best and then edit them on the desktop using Lightroom 5 (Windows). It is easy to go through a large amount of images when it suits me and I set up collections, successfully synchronized them with the selections of mobile and do my LR - it worked perfectly.

  Now, I received the message on the iPad / Android that my trial has expired and I need a CC license. Is this correct?

  Yes for Lightroom Mobile sync, you need a subscription to the CC.

  Otherwise, you get a 30 day trial that you can use.

  Just like image files, Collections are present on our servers until they are be synchronized there by your office. Lightroom Mobile does not act as a container of storage for your files. If that's what you're looking for, then Lightroom Mobile is not good service. If you placed your files in Online Creative Cloud storage space, you would always have access to your files because a full copy of files are downloaded it for download from anywhere else.

  Lightroom Mobile connects only to a catalog at a time. So, if you synchronize a catalog and go to another computer and try downloading these files it would not work. You must configure the Lightroom on the other computer to synchronize with Mobile and it loses the connection to Lightroom on the first computer and all the files that have been sync mobile would disappear.

  In order to use mobile LR as a screening tool we urgently need star & options rating color for Mobile with Lightroom. Can't believe that it has been left aside when designing v1.0. This is another field of data. Apart from the possibility to retouch the photos that are pretty useless atm, I can wait for them to evolve, stuff aside really must fall into the workflow. Dear mobile team LR, efforts by adding stars and the color ratings are really appreciated. Good and smart collection would be nice as well!

  To add some praise. I love the idea and I appreciate that the sync is working pretty well and also the application itself works properly even if the setting interface is far in addition to being a candy for the eyes. But I would say that it lines up to be a working tool rather than be a feast for the eyes.

  I'm excited and hoping more features side appearing on the horizon soon.

  Agree 100%. The app is great, but to be useful as a tool of slaughter I desperately need star ratings.

• Mobile sync Lightroom files

  I organize all my iPhone per month 6plus photos, and then synchronize them with mobile office via lightroom lightroom (please let me know if you have a better way to save photos).  I had a lot of problems with synchronization stuck.  In the past, I deleted the file sync, disconnect and connect back, deleting the collection, uninstall the application.  But this time, none of them works.  My office is showing 10 to be synchronized, and blocked to 309 to download mobile.  I spent almost all day trying different things without success.

  In addition, another question.  The collections that I created are displayed as separate collections on the cloud of lightroom, but it seems to be in a huge collection on the desktop.  Is it possible to synchronize the individual collection on the desktop?

  We recommend the workflow in the face.

  First, import images desktop > once the import is finished, add images to their respective collection (according to your choice)

  > Synchronize the mobile collection to Lightroom and make any changes.

  Following the workflow that above, you have all your images saved on the main machine and you use your mobile phone only for editing.

  I upgraded my Windows 10 office a few days ago. After the update, I signed on my microsoft account and everything was all set to level. I added about 2500 files in lightroom and then I used the mobile synchronization. I backed up my images to a closed player and lightroom. A few days later, I turned on my desktop and it says that my PC has fully upgraded and gave a tutorial and all the new features. After that everything was back to normal and I open lightroom to find all my pictures have disappeared. I tried to find the catalogue but it didn't exsist anywhere. I also tried to look through the recent catalogues and nothing showed up. Where's all my images? They are also not on my Tablet?

  Search your computer for the .lrcat files that would list all Lightroom catalogs you have.

  Also, look for backup catalogs if you saved after you have used the last time.

  By default, backups are located under Pictures\Lightroom\Backups

  Something with that I'll have a problem, is that I have my library on my iMac at home. I have a few synchronized collections that I can see on my iPhone and iPad. But I would like to be able to see these on my 2nd PC to windows in Lightroom desktop. If I turn on synchronization, nothing happens.

  No, this is not possible, you can synchronize only with a single system with mobile Lightroom at a time.

  Now if you want to use your 2nd system to work and watch the same images, then you can copy all images & Lightroom catalog on an external hard drive and connect it to the 2nd PC

  And it's the current workflow used by a lot of people, when they want access to the same images & changes between two systems.

• Cannot synchronize Lightroom Mobile with Lightroom CC

  I have a new CC (the version for $ 9.99).  I am registered on my Mac Pro desktop computer.  I downloaded the app to my iPad Pro by following the link to the support page.  I am connected to the application and that you can access the camera roll.  However the application does not seem to connect to the catalog at all.

  It syncs both ways.

  But to be able to get images of Lightroom in Lightroom Mobile Office, you need create collections on your desktop of Lightroom and enable synchronization for them
