Modal window has a gray border annoying when running

When I opened a sub - VI with the appearance of the window to be 'Modal', a small gray border appears around her. Is there a way to get rid of him?

The border is widnow to a modal style.  It is defined by the operating system, not of LabVIEW.  No way to remove it in LabVIEW.

There are many ways to block the background window.

You can minimize it; create an intermediate window in order to block it; show/hide a button / deco to cover etc, etc.

  • Windows Server 2012 stuck at startup when running on top of KVM with active regrouping of CPU

    Hi all

We observe an interesting problem when running Windows Server 2012 on top of KVM to multiple processors.

When the collection of the CPU is disabled, Windows starts and works very well.

When the grouping of CPU is activated by:

    bcdedit /groupaware on
    bcdedit /groupsize 2

Windows hangs at startup while displaying a black screen with logo and won round progress indicator.

We have produced the crash dump by injection of interruption NMI via QEMU/KVM debugging facilities, the look of stacks of appeal as follows:

There are always two or more CPUs stuck in KeFlush...() functions dealing with IPIs.

The problem looks like interrupt loss during IPI-ALL-BUT-SELF dispatching, we tried to track possible problems in KVM code that may lead to an issue like this but found nothing so far.The issue looks even more interesting taking into consideration that as far as we know CPU grouping is SW-only feature that doesn't have real effect on hardware. We will be grateful for any idea that could help to resolve the problem. Thanks in advance!P.S. • Code 80072EFE. Windows has encountered an unknown error when you try to install the updates.

First of all.  I have Windows 7 ultimate.

Recently, I had problems with malware.  I have to click on a link to google search and get sent to some site asking me to buy stuff (I have not).  I tried several different anti-virus and malware, including:

1 McAffee (which is a joke)

    2 avast

    3. stop Zilla

    4 Malware bytes.

1-3 have not picking up anything either.  And 4 stopped working after 10 minutes through a thorough analysis.  With a quick scan, we didn't find any malware.

I tried safe mode and nothing.  So I restored to an earlier point when it was working fine.

I tried to download the updates, but I get an error 80072EFE and am unable to download the updates.  I checked McAffee and all windows programs have full access, so there should be no firewall problem.  STOPzilla and Avast are no problem, due to the restoration.  I need help! Help, please!  If the cat is available, would be great.

    Thank you

On a m950y of HP with AMD Phenom Quad Core processor 2.4 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, lots of available hard disk space, accepted the software license agreement. Can you tell me what's happening, if this should be fixed, and how it can be fixed?

    Mike-

UH! After posting the added information in my last post, I have acted on an intuition, uninstalled, Office Live 1.5 from the Control Panel, rebooted, reinstalled and everything went well.

So I guess there's a glitch somewhere where Windows Live Update thought I needed the upgrade while in fact I have not, and he is involved in a problem that cannot be resolved.

    Thank you for your help.

  • InDesign format swf creates a gray border

I asked this before. I did experiments with the export of a page by turning the SWF from Indesign. However, no matter what I do the html file resulting has a gray border. It seems to be created in Indesign, but I see change color or get rid of it in a way. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    capture.jpg

I m afraid that directly from indesing, you won´t get rid of this. Fortunately West of easy way to make better work html-wrapper. This method called swfObject. It s a little differently from 'around' SWF file HTML of the building code.

You will find the convenient (and free) SWFObject generator tool to generate new html-file of address

    http://www.bobbyvandersluis.com/SWFObject/generator/index.html

Online version of it s, theres also an AIR based desktop version of this one. It is very easy to use. go to the above address and name your swf and dimensions. You must check the dimensions while you export, you can see the pixel size of your swf come at the top of the export swf window. That's about it, generate the code and paste in Notepad or any other plain text editor and name it with the extension .html to the same directory with your swf file. (with air, you can also use Save command)

If you need more controls for your swf file, you can test my eDocBrowser too. You will find a sample of the address:

    http://www.prepress.fi/eDocBrowser

And if you want to test with your own files, basic find the demo version free of the address:

    http://www.prepress.fi/edocbrowser_demo/eDB_DEMO.zip

Unzip pakage, export your file to the folder with the name 1_magazine.swf eDB_DEMO (overwrite the former) and open index.html in your browser to this folder.

Is it possible to fix it?

    Launch Firefox in Mode safe

    While you are in safe mode;

Firefox Options > advanced > General.

Find and stop using hardware acceleration. Then restart.
If there is still a problem, go to for Firefox > Extensions and
Disable all add-ons that have something to do with the display of the page. Turn it back on.
If there is still a problem, disable add-ons more. Continue until the
    the problem disappeared.

    Hi Pete,.

In my view, that the refreshment of your page should happen on your parent Page. You can also check the JQueryUI there a beautiful modal dialog Widget.

My flash drive which was a backup of my system windows has been accidentally immersed in water.  When it is dry can still be used without destroying my USB port?

    Hello

Put it in a bag of rice for a few days or more. -seal the bag.

If you remove all the moisture, it shouldn't affect the USB ports if nothing is
possible. Usually it is not a problem if the moisture is removed.

    I hope this helps.

  • The desktop icons and taskbar disappear when windows has finished starting - any of the usual things help

I have a Windows XP Home Edition with a breath main card computer.  Replaced the Board, PS and other items.  Then re-activated windows and everything was fine.  Until the last moment, I rebooted after activating it.  I have the problem that I have seen posted in a bit.  When Windows has finished initializing all the desktop icons and task bar etc. disappear.  Nothing works.

I can bring up the Task Manager and manually run programs, etc.

Believe me when I say I spent reviewing EACH reference to this problem... Yes 5 days and counting... Tried them all.

I also tried a repair of windows in place which ends without any problem (twice)... but still no icons or taskbar.  I also ran several controls of virus, including one for the virus, which is usually the cause of this problem.  (fsnimda3.exe), I tried all the ideas in another thread (page 9) and many other institutions.  Before I did the reconstruction of the material I've cloned the original hard drive and have used the disc cloned juggling his original for the back.  Even tried to reinstall the old disk and do a comparison of sector by sector, in the case where my cloning process missed something.  In the 30 years I've been in the computer business I have never had a re - format a hard drive to solve a problem.  BUT I think it will break my record.

I'm doing this as a favor for a friend.  But at this point our friendship is really put to the test
