So when you install CS6 on top of itself the first thing to do after installation is menu CS6 to use help > updates.  This should update CS 6 Version 13.0 version 13.0.1.3 on windows or 13.0.6 on Mac and ACR must be updated to version 9.1 of the cab. When you install CS6 on top of the old installation of all your actions presets and plug-ins should still be there and CS6 must be activated.

  It is difficult to say if it works or not because we do not know what looks like the old version. If it only happens in Chrome (I guess it's just Chrome on your computer?), then this is probably a caching issue. Press Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + Delete to open the dialog box clear browsing data. You should be able to get away with fair compensation for the image and the file cache. Close Chrome once that you did. It must address issues of the site.

  Update from Adobe should normally remove older versions, but if they are actively used, it is possible that the update is not able to remove them.

  If you find the file, try to delete or move the temporary office.

  Firefox may not immediately realize that the file has disappeared, but hopefully that will detect only after the next time you're out and start it back up when it updates its scan plugins.
