  I have Macromedia Flash Professional 8 is installed on a computer that is running Windows XP SP3, but for some reason when I try to load the Flash 8 it comes up with an error. Errow Show below

• HP model #A6000n Bios Checksum error after update Bios!

  I did update the Bios posted on the Hp website... After the reboot, all I get is this error, "BIOS Checksum Error", the black screen then looks for a boot diskette drive (this computer has not), then it looks for a boot on the CD drive disc.  Now, I talked to HP support and they say I have to order the recovery disks.  Someone can send me a bootable file that I could burn it to a CD for this model machine and get it operational?  I have an older machine here that would allow me to make a bootable CD, but I have no idea where to find some sort of update of the BIOS and or file bootable to Flash the BIOS.  I am so angry that HP wanted me to buy this CD recovery program has just returned in Windows Vista.  But, I don't know what to do because the update of the BIOS must have been corrupted when I flashed the motherboard ASUS.  This computer is my aunts and she failed to save restore disks and now I'm lost as to lift this thing up and running... Help, please!

  As I said, if you have a floppy is easy, especially since the computer diskette is XP. OK, let's go.

  (1) place the disk in the drive

  (2) open my computer and right-click on the floppy drive

  (3) choose the format on the menu that appears

  (4) put a check mark in the box "create an MS-DOS startup disk".

  5) click on 'start '.

  When 6) filled the awdflash.exe on the diskette copy

  (7) right click on the file of BIOS from HP

  (8) to move the mouse cursor in 7 - zip and click "open archives".

  (9) double click on the folder icon in the new window

  (10) right click on the ROM file - in this case 513. ROM

  I don't think that there is nothing wrong with your stature. Try to create a new project, as shown in jtegen and see if it works. If this does not work, you can still manually add the .swc files.

  Over the years, AIR has been improved. You use 3 of AIR, and the current version is 21. It might be useful to download the latest version of the SDK and adding in CS6. Go to the Help menu, and then choose Manage Adobe AIR SDK... Add the SDK software once you have downloaded it.

  Hi, I just upgraded to Flash CC but I have questions that I think are simple new user errors. My problem is when I create a new canvas HTLM5 and copy images in the library. 1 a background image and a tree. Both were originally png cut and pasted through Fireworks.

  The only post I found indicated that running the files locally on the desktop computer rather the a web server may cause this error.

  I use an iMac with safari and IE11 (running in Parallels)

  No indication on my simple mistake would be appreciated

  When you have made a test movie, did the images appear ok? It is normal when you use spritesheets so it fails if you try to open the HTML document locally. If you've seen ok with a test film images, so it should all work when the files are on a server.

  You can go into the publication settings and disable the spritesheet option. Then, the HTML code should work as a local test.

• Captivate generated HTML 5 wrapper not read Flash files (no error displayed)

  I'm currently reading the content generated using Captivate 5.0.2.630 Flash. I can publish Captivate (including the election create a .htm) and content parts/Replay correctly when I spotted by Captivate (i.e., locally). I also d & d the .swf on IE (8 or 9) and it will play. However, no matter how I call the .htm (whether via a link cable or d & d or typed in the URL), if it is not local, the .swf is not, and I don't get an error message. I tried IE 8 (32 bit) and IE 9 (32 and 64 bit), and I tried it on XP and Win7 systems. The result is consistent: I can play the .swf without problems; However, the generated .htm Captivate does not seem to be able to start the Flash/game the .swf player. Any help will be most appreciated.

  You send the files on your web server?  Or system files on your PC?  If it is not on a web server, it can be a flash security problem.  If it's on the web server, make sure that you have validated the javascript standard.js and the .swf file and the .htm files.

  I'm in trouble trying to optimize a site done with Flash Catalyst. I had all the images inserted in the file, but change to a picture is linked considerably reduces swf files. The SWF file published correctly without errors, but open in a web browser, the bar of the charger is blocked to 70% (approximately) and nothing happens.   So you won't see active not deployed outside (related images, external video files) double clicking main.html or by running main.swf to your deploy on the web when record his local.

  Copy the contents of your file to deploy to the web on your web server and then navigate in main.html.
