Captivate generated HTML 5 wrapper not read Flash files (no error displayed)

I'm currently reading the content generated using Captivate 5.0.2.630 Flash. I can publish Captivate (including the election create a .htm) and content parts/Replay correctly when I spotted by Captivate (i.e., locally). I also d & d the .swf on IE (8 or 9) and it will play. However, no matter how I call the .htm (whether via a link cable or d & d or typed in the URL), if it is not local, the .swf is not, and I don't get an error message. I tried IE 8 (32 bit) and IE 9 (32 and 64 bit), and I tried it on XP and Win7 systems. The result is consistent: I can play the .swf without problems; However, the generated .htm Captivate does not seem to be able to start the Flash/game the .swf player. Any help will be most appreciated.

You send the files on your web server?  Or system files on your PC?  If it is not on a web server, it can be a flash security problem.  If it's on the web server, make sure that you have validated the javascript standard.js and the .swf file and the .htm files.

I hope this helps.

    Your use of the word "files" (in the plural) still makes me believe that you have not checked the permissions on the folder that is appropriate (in the singular).

    You must determine the Destination of the Lightroom Import dialog window Panel and see which folder Lightroom is really tr6ing to copy photos in (which may have been accidentally changed and is not what you may have used in the past) and change the permissions to write to this folder.

  • DAC does not read parameter file

    Hi all

    We have recently upgraded the 7.9.4 to 10.1.3.4.Everything DAC went well. We got a message saying that this successful upgrade. We are able to see our implementation plan. We started the DAC server too. But when we begin to plan some tasks fail. DAC is not picking up paramenetrs settings for these tasks. Also, DAC is recovering not date of refreshment as well. Still running a full load. There are dates of refreshment filled for DAC tables.

    I googled for it and found out it has something to do with the parameter InformaticaParameterFileLocation in DAC. Its value must be the same as the PMSourceFileDIt parameter of informatica. I filled the same value, but again, it is not read this file.

    Can someone help me with this. I'm fairly new DAC.

    Kind regards
    Sandeep

    Hi Sandeep,

    You must copy the parameters of informatica in CAD.

    Two files (parameterfileOLTP.txt and parameterfileDW.txt), you will need to copy the folder of installation of informatica and these will be found at Informatica_Installation_Directory\server\infa_shared\SrcFiles.

    Copy these 2 files in DAC_Installation_Folder\bifoundation\dac\Informatica\parameters\input.

    Restart your DAC server and then run the load CAD.

    Hope this helps you...

  • Generated html code does not open in firefox/safari when incorporated into an iframe

    Hello

    I was mingling with robohelp for a few weeks now. I can generate a html from a Framemaker book end site. It is integrated in an < iframe > integrate into our website. It works fine on chrome. "However I get on firefox/safari is all ' i ' '. View the source, it becomes obvious that this weird bunch of characters appears before the < html >. I looked into the real generated html code and I see this < feff > tag prefix before the < html > in each file. Naturally, I advanced and removed and the page will now load correctly on firefox/safari. However, the balls are all screwed up. I read a post somewhere that says < feff > contains information about the css classes.

    I use techniques Comm Suite - 3.5(full_version). The webhelp html code is generated using the framemaker publishing feature using a file of saved settings *.isf.

    So, how to fix this? Any suggestions are welcome.

    Thank you

    The "bunch of odd characters" is known as the BOM (Byte Order Mark). The problem is on the server.

    I saw the same thing when you first use RoboHelp 8 and this is what I have been told by the company that hosts my site.

    "I would therefore conclude that the solution to this problem (on Linux systems running Apache) is to add the directive AddDefaultCharset utf-8 on the site's .htaccess file or the Apache config. The advantage of the latter is that it affects only the individual sites. The Apache default character set comes from the file of locale on Linux and defaults to iso-8859-1. It is the conflict between the Apache header with iso-8859-1 and utf-8 character page, which obviously causes problems Firefox. »

    In a post on the chrissy_tissy forum added

    My machine is Windows, but this still worked correction - some notes on post-porn the fix:

    1. make the fix itself (httpd.conf: AddDefaultCharset utf-8).

    2. restart the box to apply the hotfix.

    3. once the box is restarted, clear your FireFox cache to ensure that you do not continue to see the cached file.

    Once all this is done, you will see the contents of output as expected.

  • HTML works, but not in Flash?

    Hi, I have a link on my web page, once pressed a small window opens with a web page (called linebreak). This works when I try it on a web page, but if I try to copy the code in Flash creates an error saying: access denied.
    The written code is attached.
    What should I do to make it work in Flash?
    Thank you
    Paul

    OK, when you have created the SWF file and published it, did not put inside an html page? Most of the people don't just publish the SWF itself. Therefore, the html page for the SWF on it where you put the javascript function. The swf file is sitting on the page html with the inside function. Then, you simply call the function inside the html page using the code above in the previous posts.

    var webName:String = "" http://onloadwin.com "; "
    is not necessary.

    {We (Release)}
    getURL ("javascript:functionName ()");
    }
    is all you need on the button.

    EDIT: Here is a sample:
    http://www.johnkalnin.com/FlashHelp/bisys3.html
    Play the movie, and then view source. See how the function on the html page. All done flash calls this function like this:
    getURL ("javascript:shake ()");

    I properly packed and loaded my first Webworks app on my Playbook. Now that I have here, I need test and debug. The application works fine on my local IIS computer so I knew that I should make some adjustments for the Playbook. Now that I'm here, I don't know how to do in this regard.

    When I run the application on the Playbook, I get this error as soon as it starts:

    Unknown network error

    The application is an HTML5 app that used jquery (not the mobile version again), web services, css and images. I have all the js, css and images files in subfolders. Then when I zipped the applications I have selected all HTML pages and subfolders. I guess that was the correct way to go for that package manager is run without problem.

    Running Acrobat Pro of XI on Win7.

    Two stocks on the part of the Action Wizard, generate err pop up when I click on them. Path, cited in the error message is in Program Files (x 86) \... \ENU directory.

    Two of them are trying to read the file .sequ same, but have different description text showing.

    At one point, I had copied existing files in sequence, using them to edit and create mine, I then imported into Acrobat.

    Acrobat displays to manage Actions, but delete is dimmed; probably because what they resemble somehow action out-of-box.

    Even if I temporarily MOVE all files .sequ to \ENU directory and appdata files, they ALL actions always show on the Actions pane, and these two may not always be deleted.

    How to removed portion entered component shares of the wizard?  -or-

  • Read Flash files multiple one after another

    HI - this has left me speechless. New to Flash and do not understand how to on this subject. Been Googling etc, but just get more confused.

    I have a series of animations to graphics etc in another flash file. Tried to put everything on a timeline but became way too confusing so thought I would put each part in a separate flash file.

    Is what I want to do, once a file came to an end following to play load and so on. It is all part of a presentation so that the user will click on the keyboard to progress to the next file.

    I use Flash CS4 on Mac with Action Script 3.0.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Ok.  now it makes sense.

    Simply add your loader to the display list:

    var ldr:Loader = new Loader ();

    addChild (ldr);

    loadNext ("square.swf");

    function loadNext(swfName:String) {}

    LDR. Load (new URLRequest (swfName));

    }

  • Read textfile vi will not read the file...

    I am very new to programming LV so I hope you'll forgive the stupid mistakes that I make.   I use version 8.2 on a XP machine.

    I have a small program that stores the small sets of data in text files and then I update individually or read and update all sequentially, sending data on a USB device.   Currently I use two sets of data, each in their own small text file.  The delimiter is two commas ', '.

    The program works very well as written when running in the regular programming environment.   I noticed, though, as soon as I built it in a project which the function where it will read each file in order to update the two files reading of the text file that VI returns an empty data set, with result the empty values are written back in the file.   I read and rewrite the values of the text file to place the field updated (price) instead of it'sproper.  Each small text file is identified and named with a number of 4-digit "ID".   I built it twce and get the same result.  I also built it in an installer, and unfortunately the bug went into the facility as well.

    Following is the overall program in question:

    Here is the reading and analysis of Subvi:

    If you have any idea at all what could cause this I would really appreciate it!
