Model master synchronization

I have model master installation with several different breakpoints. I found that these breakpoints does not seem to be sync / appearing on each individual Web page, but rather all simply appear on the master model.

Each separate web page I created is assigned to this master model so I'm really confused as to why each page will not inherit the breakpoints from the main template. Advice please?

Muse does not automatically add breakpoints, you can use a single master for several different pages where breakpoints may need to be adjusted or ignored. Instead, he places markers along the bar of breakpoint that represent those established in the master. All you need to do is click on the marker and set a breakpoint.

  • How it synchronizes work? where is the master sync file?

When I use sync, where the master synchronization file is? The last two times I used sync, none of my favorites, history etc. have been transferred to the new Firefox. You want a new version of Windows 10. The other was a version of PCLINUX. both are on the same computer. Do I have to import/export instead of synchronization?

1 sync "synchronizes" all selected data so that it is the same on all devices.

    2. the 'master' file is on the server synchronization, insofar as each device data are sent to the server, where the data is merged. Once each device is connected to the sync server, the data must be the same on each device and the same as on the server.

    3. the export / import will work to transfer bookmarks on a device, adding the existing bookmarks on the device. Do that more than once and you end up with a lot of duplicate bookmarks and folders of bookmarks; Unlike synchronization where bookmarks duplicate as a group.

  • Synchronize the dictionary of data with model only works for models imported?

When I imported data dictionary model (file-> import-> data dictionary) then in relational model the two buttons "Synchronize Data with Model Dictionary" and "Synchronize model with Data Dictionary" works very well.

But when I model created from scratch and I'm clicking on the buttons "Synchronize data dictionary with the model" or "Synchronize model with Data Dictionary" nothing happens.

It works only for models imported?

    (Data model EA 3.3)

    Hello

Yes, Synchronize only works for objects that were imported to the original (like Synchronize uses the information entered during the import to determine which database connection and the database object to compare to).

If your model is not imported, you can achieve the same effect as follows:
-Open the template in Data Modeler and also open the relevant physical model.
-Do an Import of data dictionary, select the objects you want to compare with that.

After the import phase, this will display the dialog box to compare, showing the differences between the objects imported from the database and your model.

Note that if you intend to generate the DDL to update your database of the difference (as in "synchronize with Model Data Dictionary"), you must select the "Swap Target Model" option in step 2 (select database schema) data dictionary import wizard.

  • Master/slave with events

Hi, I'm developing an application in which the user actions will initiate certain events.  I've implemented the application as an event-driven state machine.  However, I realized that one of the events must launch a continuous process, i.e. reading from the buffer of a USB device.  It seems that the master/slave model apply.  Is it possible to implement the model master/slave with slave event triggered activity?  I have the feeling of these two designs are incompatible.

    Thank you

    -Jamie

If I interpret your concern of a straight line, "I thought that a part of the particular event should run completely before any action of the user would trigger another event...» » :

An event Structure maintains a queue of unmanaged manifestations.  When any event registered to a Structure of the event is triggered, LabVIEW places the event in this case queue Structure (you can have multiple records for the same event and LabVIEW will be provided with a copy of the event in each record... a bit more advanced, but it happens more often with user events, since normally you should not have more Structures for a single VI event).  When the Structure of the event is called, it will be the next event unmanaged dequeue and execute the corresponding diagram.  If there is no event in its queue, then he will wait.  If none of the events occur (are added to the queue) at the time where the period has elapsed, while the diagram of time-out is executed.

Which means, the schema associated with a certain event needs to be completed before all other diagrams can possibly run; However, events such as buttons on the user interface, are still captured during execution of the first scheme.

If your diagrams of Structure of the event have long-running code, then you can go out with that have be your only design.  For example, the operations find and initialize in your sound image as an attachment as things just happen once and back relatively quickly, so the button find out the slave device will probably expect you - a slave is discovered, and then initialized by pressing the key, after which your VI is ready to run several diagrams of the event.  However, if one of your States running really persistent operations, such as a schema "" run slave"where you have a collection of persistent data loop, then you will be in trouble since the schema will not end and your UI will probably become numb.

What does not work is if persistent operations are ran asynchronously.  If your slave has something like a "Start ANT Slave.vi" that starts an asynchronous process slave for you then returns, similar to how I would expect the "Init ANT Slave.vi" to behave, then that would work.

What RavensFan and crossrulz have mentioned are ways to achieve this in your design (rather than in the design of the class ANT slave).  Say that your ANT class slave doesn't have any internal asynchronous substance put in place that you can just start, and you will perform all operations running on your block diagram yourself.  In this case, you can create a new parallel to your course while loop.  A form any synchronization mechanism, such as a notifier, could be acquired and transmitted to two loops.  Run the loop of the slave could simply wait on the front warning system it does nothing.  Then in an event run in the upper loop for push button start, for example, you have to send a notifier, stating, "Okay loop slave, please start".  The slave will begin its operations and continue to execute, while your event in the first loop schema would end, and you would still have a user interface responsive.

The design pattern of messages in queue manager is where you have a queue instead of the notifier used in the example above, and you can messages from queue you want the slave to receive (and apparently act accordingly).  Loop of the slave and then check the queue to see if his master has sent something - if so, it performs this action; If this isn't the case, then it executes any action that it deems appropriate.

  • Updated the models encourage not updated on sync

After talking with an assortment of people Adobe, I was advised to take my question on the forums to see if someone else might have a workflow that will accomplish what I am trying to acquire: a model master centralized control, out of which subsites can base their models. (I apologize ahead if my entry takes an arrogant tone.) For brevity, I'm being pretty straightforward - I'm not really a Dreamweaver-enemy.)

    Here's the full version:
We are a large company, and the public Web site is all custom code. However, we have many departments, and many of them have their own public information sites. We use Dreamweaver on a departmental level for the public web site of each service, managed by a person designated by him in this Department. The idea is to have a "company" basic model that establishes the catch-all provision that each of my Department webmasters can use as the basis to create a template for the site of their Ministry. Theoretically, they don't would be concerned with the details for their Department and would inherit a widespread company container from the main template. (Currently, it's the Wild West, and each Department is responsible for their own model - you can imagine the wild variations in appearance through our presence on the web.)

When I initially created each service to have a web site, I manually create their models / directory on the server and put the main template in this directory (in fact, each Department has just a symbolic link to master, but I digress). The permissions are such that they cannot edit this file on the server. (They obviously can change it locally, but it can never be replaced on the server - if I could lock it so that they could not accidentally change it locally, I would do it; but I don't know how to do such a thing without having a flag 'read-only' on the model or something Dreamweaver.) Yet once again, I digress.)

In any case, what I want to do is the following: in the event that the main template on the server changes (which would result in the file of Templates/Master_Template.dwt for each service I placed there immediately appearing to have been changed), I might have users synchronize their site (that overused realization of Dreamweaver that changed the model), pull down the model and be invited to update their template Department (because it is based on the model of 'master' now-changed), which would be cascaded to update pages based on the model of their Department. Theoretically, this should work, because if you actually open the local copy of the Master_Template.dwt, change and save it, the update process works exactly as it should.
In the real world, however, the "...". and update their Department model... "part is where the process stops, because when a template file is updated via synchronization rather than change manually, either this opportunity to update all dependent resources (potentially outdated) is presented.

It was suggested to use Contribute for the Department, but Contribute sites with no knowledge of the elements of library or the modification of the model, it should be I have centrally manage * all * models instead of just the main template - and that's exactly what I'm trying to escape to do by delegating peacekeeping each ministerial department site.

The only work around I can think of is this: in the case of an update of the master model, have each user synchronize their site, pull down the new master, open it, make a few simple changes (a space or similar), delete it (so the model can be saved) and then save the now-modified-but-not-actually-changed local main template file, which would engage the update that I'm looking.

Such a process might generously describe "subject to error."

I'm a little surprised that this kind of thing has not been processed (that I can find) front. If it was, I'd like a link. The solution is such a good fit that I'm reluctant to give up Dreamweaver and go with something else - looks like a lapse such small feature - but he tanks completely the overall strategy.

Frankly, I think it is a bug. I don't think it matters how or by whom the changes made to the model - if Dreamweaver ever notice that the model is different, he should realize that any resource based on this template could potentially be stale and offer the possibility to update. Or, at the very least, there should be a way to "Refresh" the site - have Dreamweaver compare the State of each resource to their ancestor model (s) to check the consistency and offer the opportunity to upgrade at that point to the possible contradictions. Something else that "synchronize your site, open the main template, add a space, delete, save, updates start" would be a better solution to workaround.

I can't wait to hear suggestions, however.

I'm not aware anyway make it work the way you are the Template of DW engine
describing. The Templates folder and its files of constitutive models MUST be
in the root of the site.
However, I confess, I have not read your post in full to extract all the
the granularity that you offered. If I missed something, please let me
    don't know.

No, has nothing to do with what I'm trying to do.
However, I received a correction to part of my message of an engineer from Adobe:

    Quote:
    Hi Travis,
I read your post on the forum and agree it would be nice to have this kind of functionality in Dreamweaver, but because this isn't the standard use case (a site other subsites of conduct), you have to pass through a hoop more in Dreamweaver, rather than simply synchronize.
I don't think you have to do the steps, opening the modified model, bringing a change, delete, and save. On the other hand, it please try the menu item:

Modify > templates > update Pages.

This should update all pages according to the current state of the Templates folder. Thus, instead of your steps: "synchronize your site, open the main template, add a space, delete, save, launch updates. Please try:
    1. synchronize Site
    2. modify > templates > update Pages...

I totally forgot this menu item - it provide a usable workaround.

  • How to update the model of RDS for Windows Server 2012 collection?

    Hi team,

I want to know how to update the collection of RDS model (model master sysprep) which is used to create the collection?

I tried the below way but did not get the update of the collection of virtual machines.

-Start the image of mater of sysprep

    -install the required components

-resysprep the image and stop it

-East went to the RDS Collection and added new virtual machines in collection (removed the old his)

Once created, I opened a session in the machines, but I don't see the updates (I installed some software in the sysprep image however and no is not there in the virtual machines in the pool)

Can someone let me know if I need to create a whole collection again or the way I do it is a proper way? If it's a good way what could be the reason why I get the new installed software model sysprep image in virtual machines created in the pool, based on the model?

How do we actually updated for security and other regular patches updated in virtual machines? In my view, we use the same approach?

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

  • Bug? Synchronization mixes DB users and roles.

    Hello

I can't synchronize my physical datamodel with the database (datamodeler 4.0.3). For some reason, the synchronization process has a preference for database roles on DB-users. So what happens is: my database contains a user EWDS_OWNER_REF, but the synchronization process creates a role EWDS_OWNER_REF insteand and assigns all privileges to this role. This occurs even if the user EWDS_OWNER_REF is already present in the model.

    An idea for a workaorund?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Thanks for reporting this.  I will record a bug on this issue.

There is a solution.  Go to the Data Modeler > model > physical synchronization preferences page and select the checkbox synchronize to USER type.

    1. how to fix my rational design in a scheme of the DB, so I can generate scripts to ALTER.

    3. can I I map my relational model with more of a schema? If so, where to provide connection to the DB schema information.

    Concerning

    Hello

    1. how to fix my rational design in a scheme of the DB, so I can generate scripts to ALTER.

You can attach connection model by importing at least a table. "Even without this"attachment", you can compare model to the database the wizard 'Import of data dictionary' - use ' target swap" If you want to change the database.

    2. why "Model to synchronize with the data dictionary" and "Synchronize data dictionary with the model" does not work for me. It does nothing when I press on it.

"Synchronize" feature... synchronize model with database presented by connections allows you to import your items. If your model is not built using import of database synchronization features does nothing.

    3. can I I map my relational model with more of a schema? If so, where to provide connection to the DB schema information.

Yes, there is no limit on that. The only limitation is that you can synchronize using only one connection at a time.

  • Nesting templates: child-model Pages does not fully to the Editable vs a-Editable regions

Me kay, so first of all, it's all done within Dreamweaver CS5. How can I explain this, is that I have a series of Master-models for my site, then accompanied by child-models related to offshore of / nested my master-models. So far it's going wonderfully, until what I'm trying to make a page of one of my children-models.

The page of my child-model accurately comment on an non editable (region in which is editable in the master model, but left as ONLY editable within the child-model) as long as I add an EDITABLE area it contains. In the circumstances I have DO NOT add an editable region in the editable area of the master model, the area within the Page is appearing always editable.

    For example:

    __________________

    Model Master:

    <!-TemplateBeginEditable name = "ChildTemplateCSSLinks"->

    Model child CSS links here.

    <! - TemplateEndEditable - >

    _____

    Child model:

    <!-InstanceBeginEditable name = "ChildTemplateCSSLinks"->

    Model child CSS links here.

    <!-TemplateBeginEditable name = "ChildPageCSSLinks"->

    Child CSS PAGE links here.

    <! - TemplateEndEditable - >

    <! - InstanceEndEditable - >

    _____

    The child page:

Model child CSS links here. (Precisely appearing not editable - {editable area of the master model tags appearing exactly invisible})

    <!-InstanceBeginEditable name = "ChildPageCSSLinks"->

Child CSS PAGE links here. (Accurately appearing editable)

    <! - InstanceEndEditable - >

    __________________

It is a WORKING example of editable regions. In the child Page "Template CSS child links here." Appearing in comment and therefore not editable in the child Page, as if it was supposed to be. This time allows the 'child PAGE CSS links here' to be editable with PRECISION within the child-Page.

Now for an example of what does not work:

    __________________

    Model Master:

    <!-TemplateBeginEditable name = "ChildTemplateCSSLinks"->

    Model child CSS links here.

    <! - TemplateEndEditable - >

    _____

    Child model:

    <!-InstanceBeginEditable name = "ChildTemplateCSSLinks"->

    Model child CSS links here.

(As you can see, I've added an extra editable within the editable area of the master model. This is an area which is supposed not to be editable within the child-model and NOT the child-Page, which seems to be up to NOW accurate.)

    <! - InstanceEndEditable - >

    _____

    The child page:

    <!-InstanceBeginEditable name = "ChildTemplateCSSLinks"->

    Model child CSS links here.

(For a reason, THAT as long as I DO NOT add an additional child-model - edit box in the editable area of the master model, this area is appearing ALWAYS visible but also editable in the child Page.)

    <! - InstanceEndEditable - >

    __________________

So, in this circumstance, it seems that the only way I can leave ALONE the editable region of the master model can be changed within the child-model and NOT editable in the child Page is leaving an ADDITIONAL editable produced through the child-model somewhere within the editable region EVERY SINGLE, produced by the master model. Unless I do something bad, it seems this until a potential defect/bug in Dreamweaver CS5. I can't imagine how this would be correct, otherwise child/Nested-Templates would be not possible to do. What could I do it wrong? Is it possible that I can specify in the master model is an editable editable ONLY within the child-model and NOT yet child-Pages (A Page based on the template of the child)? Or maybe is it possible that I can specify the child-model that an area can be changed WILL NOT be editable in the child Page? Furthermore, no, I DON'T want to make "Optional Regions", so please do not suggest that.

I know it's all probably a little confusing, but I hope the examples above more than descriptions aside. As you can probably assume, it is definitely a HUGE complication in my site if it does not end up being a solution, especially with all the time I put into making the child models, which I hope to rely on. It would be really silly if I had to script - in an editable region extra in each master-model-editable-region unique available within my child-model just so that I can update my child-model, in addition to my changes to my child-Pages, to fall as much as it would maintain the content that I never wanted to be editable in the child Page in the FIRST place.

Some help would be appreciated sincerely, as soon as possible, if I could ask politely.

    Thank you. Sincerely,

    ~ Miss Cat

  • Using Page breaks and change the model

I'm working on a book.  The book is in a Word format.  I'm taking the text and the porter in InDesign with page after page being connected. There are 73 pages in total of pure copy once worn on in.  Now I go and put the media in the text.  I have two basic model master drawings that I use according to the content referred to this in the text.  Example is that Master model has a white background, master model B, which has a black background.

Given that the book is alternating between the models based on the content on the page pages could look like this:

    Page 1: Model has

    Page 2: Model has

    Page 3: Model B

    Page 4: Model has

and so on.  I have a question about the page breaking.  I want to always keep the content on page 3 on a main B template background.

However, if I add more content to A, or if I use a page break, the content on all subsequent pages is pushed down (all pages are linked).  So if I jump from Page 1 page, my page B content is pushed on a background model.  It is obviously not what I wanted.  Should there be another function outside of page break should I use to put the separaters?  How can I ensure my content on page 3 remains on a background of the B model?

Currently, your text is threaded into a continuous narrative. When you add the new text in the Middle, everything after this point will move. To avoid that you should break the text into separate stories for CCE content type.

It is essentially the same as dividing the chapters of a book, so that each of them begins on the right master page, which is didcussed at some length here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3993405#3993405

  • Problems with the pages of models CS3

My site is www.cft-aft.org and I have problems with a page or two that were created from a master template that the images are not loading or projection. An example can be found at http://http :// www.cft-aft.org/Get%20Involved.html. I don't know what the problem is or how to diagnose.  All pages of this website have been created from the master template. I had some file management problems in the past, and I think I have corrected most of them (with the exception of the change of name without spaces). I understand that this could be a problem and if it is my problem with this specific page, I understand.

I have attached a few screenshots of the presentation of dreamweaver and a screenshot of my side of local and remote sites.

The main problem with the page get involved is not editable images do not exist. Everything lies in the local root folder of the site/htdocs, on both sides. I noticed that when I do to the top of the page get involved in DW is at the top right of the screen, he reads a long path (shown as an example on the screenshot) and on other pages which load correctly, the path is not the same thing, but they reside in the same folder. I suspect that this is probably my problem, but I'm confused, how it got like that and worse still, how fix without having to completely rebuild the page.  I am a total novice and teach me how to do this using the DWCS3 Missing Manual book, but I can't find a solution in there, so please help if anyone can, with step by step instructions.

If anyone has any idea how it happened, I'd appreciate comments so I do this again.

If more information is needed, please let me know.

    Thank you

    Hi, Kelly.

What keeps you from renaming files with Word spaces? It is a good idea. On ALL of your files. Rename them to the INSIDE of the files Panel.

You work in a defined site? Yes, you are.

The page you we directed (with an address disheveled, but easy to fix on the track), shows a large number of links to files on your computer, do not using links to other files in your root directory.

You must open your template and reapply links to all images. Save the model. Once you have re-applied the links in your template Master.dwt, change > models > update of the Pages... while your model is open (especially if DW does not ask if you want to update the files). Record everything (better yet, don't have other pages opens when you update the pages...).

Depending on how you created your page "Se Involved.html", it would be preferable for you to set up a new page of the child of your template and copy the changing content of the old page. Name the new page (without spaces in the file name... lol...) and save it. You won't be totally rebuild the page, because a lot of it will flow in your model.

Commenting on your illustration to pdf, you want the indicator model-based Yellow Page in the upper right of your page based on a model of read model: Master. Pages containing the path to the top there are incorrect. I don't know how this happens, but it could be a problem with moving the files outside the DW (bad idea)... always use the files Panel to move files. You have full access to your computer in this window.

  • Model of not shooting

I have a custom table that is full when a new UNSAccountB is created.

I created a password field model in my custom table which is:

    Value = $UID_UNSAccountB.Password$

When the password in UNSAccountB is changed, don't shoot the model... But if I use Object Explorer and run the model, it works very well.

Does anyone know why the model does not automatically? Change indicator is checked

If I remember correctly, QC will set the variable FULLSYNC during its operations. That would explain the difference between your "Execute" model and synchronization of password QC.

You must change your model accordingly.
