Modification of the AR in Premiere Pro CS3

Hello

I have another problem with my Premiere Pro CS3 on my MacBook, and the last time I posted another question here, I had a quick and helpful response.

The last time it was to get the avi codecs goes on my MacBook, I have just converted the .mov files and it worked.

The question is now that I need to know how to change the AR of a clip at random. I use 20 seconds each clips when I edit. "Back when I had a PC and edited with Sony Vegas, I just went to clip prefferences > and turned off ' maintain proportions"

I would strongly appreciate that someone could explain to me how it's done.

PS: AR = report l / h

PS2: I need to change to all the clips that I import. they have different AR right now and I need to change this so that it fits the video preview. And when I am, I just want to use the settings that I prefer and make this way.

Kind regards.

Now, when you import your video footage you shouldn't have a problem of proportions... must be...

    Hello world

I am the network administrator for a school and we have a Digital Media Lab here using Adobe Creative Suite 3: Master Collection.  All systems here are running Windows XP Professional and on a Windows domain.  All users are standard users, without administrative rights for obvious reasons of security.  When I made originally of the deployment of the lab by running sysprep on a reference computer and use ghost to deploy the rest of the computers, I noticed a problem with Premiere Pro CS3 after deployment.  In this laboratory, none of the computers would capture video via firewire and built it based on capture in Adobe Premiere CS3.  I think I have a post about it on these forums that was never solved.  To work around this problem, I capture images for students in my office and transfer it on to their readers of network so that they can import it into Premiere Pro CS3 and edit images.

Recently, the school bought a few HD cameras that record a built-in hard drive or an SDHC card.  The idea here is that the. MTS files could come from the camera to the computer running Premiere Pro CS3, media files in. Format MTS [1280 x 720] could be converted to help Free HD Converter from KoyoteSoft using the settings [preset] MPEG2, MPG2 as format, 1280 x 720 / / 16: 9 29.97 FPS, video rate 9000 and 224 audio bitrate, and then the media new files can be imported into Premiere Pro CS3 and edited using the HDV preset in Premiere Pro CS3 720p30.

It works fine on my desktop computer.

The problem is that if any student tries to import their images on a computer in the laboratory of digital media, the converted media files, exact same those who just imported in my Premiere Pro CS3 installation on a computer in my office with the same material as the computers in the lab of digital media, fail to import the audio.  I can see the video without any problem in the lab, but no audio layer is displayed.  If I click with the right button on the video file and choose open with > VLC or other media player, the media play with audio.  All audio and video codecs installed on my machine are also installed on the machines of digital media.  If I right click on Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 from a student on these computers account and choose Run as and use the account administrator, Premiere Pro CS3 does exactly the same thing, he can't yet see the audio.  Adobe CS3 is perfectly up-to-date on my desktop computer and all computers of digital media.

Any help solving this would be greatly appreciated, spring break is coming here next week and I'll be here all week.  Hoping to get this resolved during this time so that students can edit their own films.  Again, importing video, audio is not.  No audio layer is displayed.

    Thank you!

  • Problems with the Audio after export in Premiere Pro CS3

I am currently working with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and after that I have export my project to an AVI or MPEG (does not seem to matter), you can hear the buzz stirred in the background during the entire video.

The audio sounds absolutely perfect everything while listening to him itself, it is only after I export it.  This is the first time it happened, I've never had these problems before.

I tried to turn off multiplexing, I tried MPEG2 vs DVD in multiplexing with no difference.  I tried MPEG vs PCM as audio format, I tried different frequency, different bitrates, constant or Variable and nothing seems to work.  More funny, if I export as a part of the video, the audio seems fine.  It is only if I export the entire video I have that noise of snoring, restless in the background.  I thought that maybe it is just a file in the project which is the cause, but no matter what part of the video I export, it sounds good... I don't understand.

I have attached an example of my problem in this post... anyone got any ideas?

To Render & replace, select an Audio Clip and choose (Toolbar) Clip > Audio Options > Render and replace. A new Audio Clip will be created and will replace the Audio Clip selected in the timeline panel.

Now, there's these Audio Clips of multiplex Audio & video, files or separate the Audio Clips?

    Good luck

CS3 does not support this format.  MTS/AVCHD support was not introduced before CS4.  Convert the files to something else.  You can use a free program called Handbrake to do.

Yes, quite probably a compatibility issue. CS3 used an older model of compatibility, which long has been surpassed by newer versions of DX. However, still does backward compatible, so the problems you might have may depend on requiriung a specific driver, installing the legacy DirectX or as a minor, full support by changing some permissions on the system to allow the loading of drivers unsigned legacy and compatibility modes. • Premiere Pro CS3 - Preset & Questions for media files

Volunteered to create a high school highlight video using Premiere Pro CS3 on Mac football games.  The video will appear in a banquet hall with a NEC projector mounted on the ceiling.  The owner of the room has no info on the projector, so I do not know its resolution native or any other specifications.  The screen is full-size.

I was given a potpourri of media:

    (1) DVD game of the team from the press box.  MPEG Streamclip shows the VOBs have these properties: 720 × 480, 4:3, 29.97 FPS, Mbit/s 9,30, upper field first - 128 AC3 2/0, 48 kHz, 256 Kbps.  Good or bad, I converted the files to import dv VOBs in PP with these properties: DV/DVCPRO - NTSC, 720 × 480, 4:3, 29.97 FPS, Mbit/s 28,77 - stereo 48 kHz, 28,77 Mbps DV.

    (2) field-level video taken with a Canon HV30 (HD, widescreen).  The files I received are: Apple Intermediate Codec, 960 × 540, 29.97 FPS, 30,09 Mbps - 16 bit Big Endian stereo, 48 kHz, 1.54 Mbps.  I could ask to have these repeated files in the form of SD files.

    (3) many line pictures (TIFF) taken with a Canon 30 d-side.

After the installation of the project, I was counting on the final export of the video/audio as a mov file to be played from my hard drive top round instead of a DVD.  Not sure about the export settings for optimal quality.

But first, what predefined PP should I use for this project, or should I use the custom settings?  If so, what would they be?

I converted the VOBs in the correct format?

Should I resume the HV30 images or convert it to another format?

I have photos in Lightroom and can export to TIFF, JPEG, PSD or DNG and can resize down if necessary.  Any suggestions?

Finally, I thought of the conversion of the background music of mp3s to aif files at 48 kHz, 16-bit to be consistent across different audio files.  Any suggestions with the audio?

Any ideas or suggestions on these issues would be most appreciated.  If the answers to these questions depend on the type of projector, I have perhaps to wing it... or buy my own projector.  Ouch.

Sorry for the length of this post.

I recommend that you configure a 720 x 480 4:3 project.  At the very least, have

recapture them #2 as widescreen SD video files (I will refrain

to comment on the usefulness of the AIC to half-HD) the

recovered files widescreen SD eventually letterboxes in your 4:3

timeline.  Your other choice would be to implement a 720 x 480 16:9 project,

but who would eventually pillarboxed 4:3 image.  Your choice.

I think you did a great job converting the VOBs.

Resize images in Photoshop.  Get closer to 720 x 480 like you

can adjustment upward to take account of any panning and zoom that

You can do.  But do not increase the size more than you

Duty.  You definitely want to avoid working with the huge frame size

    PR images.

16-bit stereo audio for the 48 k should work just fine.

You should find out the native resolution of the projector and if

or not, it has an internal scaler.

  • Export of the alpha channel of the AE does not appear correctly when placed on the timeline in Premiere Pro

I exported the following from After Effects graph and followed the instructions to export using the Lossless + Alpha setting in the render queue. After importing the file to Premiere Pro, it appears correctly in the window of source footage; However, when placed on a sequence (even a sequence created to match the settings of the clamp of the said folder) it displays immediately the transparent gradient incorrectly in the canvas window. I restarted Pr see if it was the result of a file of previous preview when I was exporting from Ae incorrectly. No change. I just want to know how it happened to one of our producer/Editor. It is his story. "She hung the three hard drives to 9 from FCP, has opened the program from Premiere Pro and created a new project file. Then she dragged the files, .mxf per season per show in the Premiere Pro project file. To organize additional files in labels and others per show per season, she decided to redo the project file. She highlighted the files on the window of Premiere Pro and click on delete. She then tried to repeat the move but this time, the program could not read the file type extension. One of our Publisher checked raw materials of the external hds but unfortunately the files is no longer there. Our question is how it happened because according to her, there is no prompt that it will be deleted in the external source files. Please help so that we can avoid it in the future. Hoipng for your immediate response. Thank you

First does not remove the files. The option to delete files from the hard drive only appears when you perform offline files in the first project window.

The editor is sure that she has deleted the files in the window of Premiere project and not on the hard drive itself?

    >>

Better is not not to drag but to import or to ingest via Media Browser in the first.

I'm guessing she files deleted from the hard drive.

  • Adobe Story Script does not allow me to integrate the script into Premiere Pro

Integration with Premiere Pro Adobe story Script does not work I would like to integrate the script

Goal: Incorporate a Story Script from Adobe in Premiere Pro. (mac)

Method: I have a video with a text transcript.

I inport the transcript in Adobe Story and save it in the file extension "Adobe" correct history (.astx)

I save on the cloud to Adobe, and I also exported it to my office.

I launch Premiere Pro and import the video that I transcribed.

The I try one of the 3 ways to get the script of the video in PP.

The first steps are the same as below:

I go to Adobe Story and you connect from PP.

    I search for the file.

    I add a scene.

Make sure that the scene is the same as it is in PP

    then...

    1.

I drag and drop it on the movie file.

Nothing appears in the Embed Adobe Story Script Meta Data field.

    2.

I click on Analyze and the box integrate Adobe Story Script script remains greyed out (impossible to select)

If I click on analyze then PP will analyze the script (does a decent job) but this isn't what I want.  I want to join the script verbatim in the video, that's why I've transcribed.

    3.

Right click on the movie file in the PP and the context menu allows me to attach a script.

I find my .astx file downloaded on my Mac and select it.

Still nothing appears in the field to incorporate Adobe Story metadata.

I worked with Anand of support suggested that I have post this question here.

I don't know if there are only some Adobe models for which it works (IE script of TV, movies etc.)

He suggested that this would probably work only for the formats .mov file, but then discovered that it should work, even for .mp4 files.

In any case - if anyone has any ideas, ideas, or has experience with this it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Stabilize the video in Premiere Pro

    Hello

I recently shot a music video, downloaded to my PC and it shakes a lot and its not stable at all. Can I quickly stabilize the video in Premiere Pro CS4, if so how?

I was told that you can do with Photoshop and then import into Premiere Pro that looks like a lot of work. I currently have of Premiere Pro CS4.

    Thank you

There is a stabilization in AE:

Source, track and control target (Pro only)

The Tracker Panel allows you to control all types of tracking movement and stability. In this Panel, you specify your source of movement and the movement of target layer layer, choose the type of monitoring you want to use, and set options for special monitoring. Once you have set all your settings, launch you the follow-up with the buttons to analyze and apply data to follow-up with the button apply.

    Tracker Control Panel

    A. controls to create a new track, set the source query and target b. controls to set the type of monitoring c. controls to start, apply and remove tracks

In the Panel controls of Tracker, maintain you the layer you want to follow, what you want to use data from monitoring and the layer or effect that you want to apply the follow-up.

Source Specifies the layer that contains the query that you want to track movement. The menu lists all the layers of moving images in the current composition. If you have selected a source of the query or a checking point effect to a layer before you open the Panel controls of Tracker, After Effects displays the layer source of movement.

Current track shows the track for the source layer that contains the tracking data. Each layer can have multiple tracks associated with it, allowing you to follow several functions in a layer or follow the same layer using different parameters.

Proposal target Specifies the images, image sets, or the effect that you want to animate. When selected, the tracker applies the caterpillars of keyframes for the target of query layer specified to animate or to stabilize. Change the target by clicking on change target and choose a new target in the context menu of the layer in the target request dialog box. The Edit target button is not available if the Raw is selected for the Type of track.

Open Options s the Motion Tracker Options dialog box, through which you can improve the accuracy of tracking and select third-party plug-ins tracker.

I have not used, so recommend you ask for details in the Forum of the AE. There is a lot you can browse the process. I would just muddy waters.

    Good luck
