  I am trying to import RAW + JPEG images of my new Canon EOS 80 d in Photos. When I try to choose images-> use BRUTE as the original , I get the following error message:

  Cannot switch Original.

  Pictures cannot move to the original because the RAW is not supported.

  I wonder now if the current version of Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update includes the 80 d EOS, and if not, when it will be updated.

  My version of Photos is:

  I have not seen the 80 EOS D on the RAW supports list - Digital camera RAW formats supported by OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

  Because something is wrong.  Unfortunately, with OS X being composed of hundreds of thousands of files, you can not tell exactly what.

Apple-> system-> software update Preferences menu contains options to disable automatic downloads, although the Mac App Store update itself for Snow Leopard activates the automatic notifications of updates.  While a nuisance, you have just to tell more later, only choose to update once you have read the documentation to verify that its good operation with what you have.  Always back up your data before allowing updates.

  19 July, installed as part of the iTunes store update 12.4.2.

  Hmm, I've recently started using combo updates, update several MacBooks, copy of the update to a USB key.

  In the section "Installed updates in the last" 30 days, there were two entries as noted above. Report of the system, the facilities, it is also updated two 6.20 lists.

  Have you tried to reinstall the RAW Support?  Sometimes the download from the App Store does not correctly install, then it helps to reinstall it from the downloads page.   I have my macbook set to do automatic updates. I see a light red on the App Store, which shows an updated - and when I check it said provision, "Digital Raw Compatibility Update, version 6.20. I scroll down and see that it has installed this update even at least 10 times start on 13 August through 24 August! Even updated, same version and I think it's a corrupted file or virus! Help, I want to stop saying that I need to update!

• CS6 Camera Raw not updated

  I am just crossing the CS6 platform (from cs5 after doing an adobe cleaner) in windows XP in order to give it a try before I update my laptop at the end of the summer. My new hardware of the camera is a Nikon D3200. I installed CS6 trial and fully updated via the adobe application manager.

  When I try to open the D3200 Raw files I get a dialog box saying "Camera Raw can't open this file" and ordered to update me. When I go into file > update the update is grayed out, as he is not able to be selected.

  I'm trying the update for CS5 6.0.0.205 to camera RAW 6.7 for MAC for canon 5DMark III. I was able to do own another mac but no luck on my new macbppk pro

  When I try in CS5 help-> updates and select camera raw I get "there was an error downloading this update. Please try again later.
