• Modification of the Hosts file

  I'm trying to edit the file hosts on my laptop, but can't seem to find it in the usual place: c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc. Everything is in this folder are the following files:

  hosts. ICS
  LMHOSTS. Sam
  networks
  Protocol

  Is there another location for the hosts file? I am running Windows 7 Home Premium (rel. 6.1.7601, service pack 1) on a 64-bit HP Pavilion dv7-1245dx laptop. The file 'hosts.ics' is the same as the [missing]? file "hosts"? Any help would be appreciated.

  The hosts.ics is a configuration file for Internet connection sharing. If you want to add the static IP mapping, you should now edit the file hosts , not the hosts.ics.

  There is really only one location for the file hosts . namely c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc or % SYSTEMROOT%\System32\Drivers\Etc. make sure you have the Show hidden files folders and drives in Explorer, tools, folder, display, Advanced Settings Options.

  Start by clicking Start or tapping on the Windows key and typing notepad.exe , then hit Ctrl + Shift + Enter together or right click on the menu item start Notepad choosing run as administrator. Acknowledge the UAC warning and supply references if requested. This gives you the privileges that are required to modify the hosts file.

  I use an old distro from Suse Linux 32-bit on a 64-bit VM Workstation.  I modified the file vmx virtual machines with "monitor_control.disable_longmode = 1" in order to force the guest to detect as a 32-bit operating system or a 32-bit application that must run on the Suse installation used client starts correctly.

  Everything works well, but I need to do the same thing on our ESXi server company but have encountered the following problems:

  1. its possible, but not easy to modify the vmx without ssh or ftp access.  Am I missing something here?

  2. our local IT guy hesitates to start hacking the configuration files unless it had to ensure that the other virtual machines, or entire server, be affected by the change

  I would be grateful if someone could a) advise on the best way to edit files on a server ESXi and b .vmx) confirm that changing the vmx on usually file a VM guest interfere with anything else running on the host computer.

  With the virtual machine you can add parameters through the VI client.

  Settings / Options / Advanced / General - Configuration settings.

  Some mobile devices won't be able to open it at all, but if it is open, the quality is not affected.  Please note and understand the warning you get when you set security: indeed, it is largely ignored by many apps.

  Remember that sometimes the dates of the .jpg files come the EXIF information stored in the .jpg file and you may need some kind of an EXIF Editor to change that.

  I am trying to build a blackberry application that uses web services. I use my own implementation of web service client because most of the mobile does not support RPC or JSR 172. So I do not use net_rim_jaxrpc blackberry module. I tried to deploy the application in 8130 (Verizon) Pearl and Curve 8320 (T-Mobile). It works very well in Pearl but he launched 'Net_rim_jaxrpc Module could not be found' error in curve 8320. I looked for versions of software to both phones. Pearl has a version 4.3 and curve has a version 4.2. I know that version 4.2 doesn't have a net_rim_jaxrpc module, then it throws the error message. I looked in the JAD file and it has an entry for net_rim_jaxrpc in "RIM-COD-Module-dependencies. My question is, since I do not use net_rim_jaxrpc API why he puts this entry in the JAD. I even tried to delete this entry from the JAD but curve 8320 always up the error message.   The problem is resolved. Problem is not with the development version. Problem is with the import statement. There was an import for 'javax.xml.rpc.Stub' statement, and I don't notice it. But when I changed the JDE 4.2 development, he began to show an error message for the unknown variable in the IDE. I changed the import to my own Stub class and everything seems to work very well.

• LR 4 modifies the DNG files

  LR4 bought last night - mainly interested in the moiré removal tool.  Tried on two DNG files.  Seemed to remove the color model, but not the contours of the intensity.  BUT, after this test, I opened the DNG files in Photoshop CS5.  In Photoshop, there are now ugly brush models where the tool has been applied.  And DNG files now show a "last modified" date today.  Looks like LR4 can corrupt the DNG files

  I have studied the file (thanks Harold) and have the following share:

  1. the DNG file is not damaged.

  2. the DNG file wrong (more precisely, stale) setting values of local correction for brushed regions.  The recorded values indicate an increase in exposure, that's why the strokes appear visible in older versions of ACR (like 6.3 or 6.4) supported by PV 2003/2010, but not PV 2012.

  3. the reason for the incorrect/fade value being registered for PV 2003/2010 settings is because of a bug in Lr 4.  I will work with the team to address this issue.

  4. in the meantime, to remove the visible effects "brush stroke", you can delete the local corrections, or click an individual PIN (once the adjustment Brush tool is selected) and reset the exposure to 0.

  5. you will not encounter this problem if you open the image in Lr 4 directly in ACR 6.7 RC.

  6. the reason why the problem is a not disappear in this case when you tried ACR 6.7 RC, is because you have already saved the image to an earlier version of the ACR 6 parameters.  In other words, you've come this way: Lr 4-> ACR 6.3 / 6.4-> ACR 6.7 RC.  When you have saved the image settings (for example, by clicking 'Done') in ACR 6.3/6.4, this threw your moiré adjustment.  This is because older versions of ACR do not understand the new settings (e.g., the moiré).

• repair of iTunes - fusion of the xml files or combine libraries

  My iTunes xml I messed up a little bit and now all my old songs have the same Date added date, if they have been added to 4 years ago or on 02/07/15.

  Titles added after 02/07/15 have correct dates.

  I am trying to find the better (not necessarily the easiest) way to fix them.

  It is important for me because I sort my titles by date added.

  I have a huge library and can change them one by one in the xml file.

  I think that the ideal way to change the dates maybe with a script that would take the correct dates back to the old xml and replace the incorrect in the xml of the last.

  However, I do not have such a script, and I don't know how to write one.

  So my other option is to merge libraries.

  I will do this on a separate drive in order not to spoil the libraries either old or new.

  I have a bunch of backups, but had not noticed the problem posed by the until after all the backups had already been updated with new and incorrect files.

  I also have a fully functional library on a player removed from my MBP dead last year.

  So I now several copies of a messed library and an obsolete library containing the correct information.

  If I had to start with the old library I would need then to add all new titles that were added last year on my new computer.

  I know that iTunes has a feature to add to the library , but before I use it I want to make sure that will accomplish what I am trying to do.

  I have since discovered that the added Date cannot be changed.

  So now I have copied the old library on an external drive, made iTunes open this library, and then added everything in my current library which was not in the old library. I now have a library with the correct dates for the majority of the files, but all my files since August 2014 have now to the current Date added date.

  Better to have 16 months from the incorrect dates of 6 years.

  I am trying to build a .VI to measure voltages on a channel of a transducer of pressure for a period of 3 minutes.  I would like the .VI to write all the samples of blood to a file .lvm with another .lvm file that comes from the average voltage over the period of 3 minutes.  I built a .VI making everything above so I think that... The problem I'm running into is when I opened the file .lvm of all samples of blood in MS Excel and take the average of them using the built-in Excel function (= AVERAGE(B23:B5022) for example) averaged and compare it to the .lvm file, which has just 3 minute average .VI voltage, they do not correspond to the top.

  This makes me wonder if I use VI with an average of function correctly or if maybe VI averages data different voltage than what is written in the .lvm file.

  Does anyone know why the two averages are different and how I can match.

  The Type of dynamic data of LabVIEW you use is a special data type that can take many forms.  It therefore requires the use "Of DDT" and "DDT" for the conbert to and from other data types.  These special conversion functions can be configured by double-clicking them and specifying the format you are converting from.  You can find the functions on the pallet handling Express-Signal.

  I've attached a screenshot of the modification of the code using the "DDT" and the average is very good.

  Scenario: create an extract using the tool of LAVA. I opened the case, and to quickly find the newly created excerpt, I ordered the files as a descendant by time and date. To my surprise I couldn't find the code snippet in the upper part. The reason was that the new file kept the date/time from the original one.

  This is a really minor thing, but it made me curious. Under windows, when I rename a file, it retains the original timestamp. However when I crush him, it updates.

  I'm not knowledgeable about Windows 7, but Windows XP, I found the registry permissions must be put in a file.  So in your example, you can create a file named "z.txt", and in this file, you put the line:

  Unfortunately the LIST or the commands do not return good usable change dates and times.

  But there is an FTP task 'MDTM' command to get the date of the change of a specified file.

  You must run this command for each file individually.

  You use the FTP functions from the Internet Toolbox? Then you can do it like this:

  I think you need to find the last file with little code on the host based on the modification dates.

  If you paste a file into a folder that already has a file with the SAME file name, you will be informed and asked to choose one of the following:
  1. do not copy
  2. copy and replace those already on file
  3. copy and keep both.

  Perhaps, you have chosen the 3rd weight?

  Deletion and modification functionality, you need are already present in page 4 via the process of FRA and ARP generated by the wizard. You did not just providing a link to the page that passes the value of the ID of existing lines.
