  I use OS 10.6.5. I have Lightroom 2.7 installed, and I purchased Photoshop Elements 9. I'm trying to change my Lightroom photos in elements by going to the Menu, select Photos, then select them change in, but I'm not able to select one of the options to change in as they appear in gray. I uninstalled and re-installed both programs and that did not help. Any suggestions?   Let me know if you need more information.

  Make sure that you have properly implemented PSE9 as external editor.

  In the Lightroom library module, click Edit > Preferences

  Then click the external publishing tab in the Preferences dialog box.

  Click on the button choose (to half way down) in additional external editor

  Then go to the PhotoshopElementsEditor app and select it.

  I use a 3D graph to display the results of a particular set of tests. I want to change the legend on an axis according to which test I run, for example, the x axis to change its legend of Deg C at time (nS), it only seems to be a property to facillitate node. Could someone tell me please in the right direction?

• Photo helps organization: files remain organized and unable to order prints online.

  I store my photos in folders, by year and month, on my drive ext 'G '. In 2010, for example file, I have 12 folders named by month, each monthly file will Add ' l records in there. • Bad dates on photos - help

  I have the NMH405.

  This product is very frustrating.

  I download my photos by simply copying in the pictures directory. I am computer SCIENTIST so I know how to get around

  In any case, I have some pictures that he thinks that come from today's date when I put them there.

  I have re-scanned... remove all the images... re-analyzed, put back them...

  This device has so much potential, but these really simple bugs are really annoying.

  I wanted just to update everyone.

  Cisco's Tony was fantastic and helped me offline.

  It turns out that the pictures that I had a problem with came from a digital camera more old has not completely EXIF data.

  The date wasn't actually in there. So, my results with other applications have been hit/miss. Some of them must have used my

  o/s timedate and I was getting lucky.

  I just wanted to mention that the product has NO problem and that Tony has found the problem in a blink of an eye.

• Preview thumbnails in BridgeCS4 RAW photos, help?

  I had to reinstall BridgeCS4 and Photoshop2014 on my computer, since then, my settings in bridge changed. My RAW photos in a folder and I try to preview them to start editing in the Filmstrip view. But the CR2 shows instead of the preview. Help? Here is a screenshot of the problem.  I think it should be a quick and easy solution... However, I'm puzzled.

  

  If you have PS 2014, why you install Bridge CS4? You must install Bridge since the application of Cloud of Creative Manager.

  Hi, I have an Air of MacBook Mid 2011, running OS X El Capitan. I have problems with what appears to be that 8.17 GB of photos stored on the hard drive when I've always kept my files on an external drive.

  I have used before OS X Yosemite and the Photos/photo workflow application, I kept all my files on my external hard drive but I found out later it stores small thumbnails on the internal hard drive. Since the update to El Capitan, I deleted all the files of old photo library and the new version contains very little data. When I access ' on my Mac / storage ' it shows still 8.17 GB of photos, but I can't see where they can be. I ran Omni drive Sweeper software, and who does not show something that large non more. I've attached a screen so you can see what I mean. I hope that makes sense! I don't mind wiping the hard drive and start again, but I'm just very curious/frustrated that I can't find a solution 'normal '.

• Photo help on background

  I have a black background and I want to make a photo ontop of it (in the lower corner or something) which is levels of gray (know how) and fades at the bottom of the photo.

  So it seems normal at the top and then everything fades into the background

  File > Place and select incorporate or if your version of the offer.

  In the layers panel, make sure that the image is above the black background

  In the layers panel make sure the image is selected, and then click the icon that looks like a circle inside a square

  Select the thumbnail of the mask that has been created

  Writhe the gradient tool pick black-white

  Drag over the document, repeat as many times as necessary until you are satisfied

  If you want to change in the future, it is advisable to use a format that supports layers and transparency as psd or tiff.

  When I do a project in PS, the colos are so vibrant and the exact colors, I want them to be.

  I then save the project as a "png" with as large of a file size I can upload to deviantart. I see them or download them or just save as a jpeg and view on my desk, they look very washed out in compareson.

  My PS is set to "Adobe rgb 1998" my samsung LCD is set. (Shift + ctrl + k)

  My monitor/windows color scheme is set to 'apple rgb', rather than the samsung natural color. (win 7 search "color management")

  Is there any advice you can give me?

  What should the DP/resolution set to something like that? He is currently at 72.

  First of all off - get rid of any software of Samsung color (cr@p---cough cough cough - there) - it will be in the way causing potential color questions/double profiles/conflicts...reset your monitor to the default settings of Photoshop and recalibrate with the help of a hardware standard.

  However, the question could be on applications compatible color profile (PS) against those who are not... My feeling is that you lose the range of color when converting from aRGB to the jpeg format which is normally sRGB which has a range of colors to reduce, particularly in the reds and Greens...

  Assuming that your monitor is material calibrated, you can trust the color ARGB in PS as true (even if it is still not perfect). JPEG/sRGB is a gain, we must live with for important lower file size (somethng must give, right?) and ease of web use.

  BTW... no matter what image you download on your computer will not show the problem as each forum user has there own calibrated or not, monitor... profile so that we can not really see your question like this because it is unique to your installation.
