  Once we build a cube using AWM 10g (10.2.0.2) is it possible to modify the existing inside logic, as we can see a lot of Cube parameter fields are disabled, which means that if it is in error during deisgn I have to build the whole cube from scratch.

  There are many limitations on what you can change in a cube of 10g, after its creation. You can add and removed the measures, for example, but you can't add or delete dimensions. This function was introduced in 11g (and through the AWM stack to 11.2). So I'm afraid you will need to delete and re-create the cube to make that kind of change.

  What you can do in Acrobat can easily be automated. There are

  different API in the Acrobat SDK kit and the interface of the IAC has serious

  limitations. Some of them you can move using JavaScript

  Bridge, but still, you will not have access to page content. Only a plug-in

  can access this data and move "paragraphs" is still a huge

  tasks. The PDF file does not organize its content in terms of words,

  sentences or paragraphs, so you should have provide features that

  would be able to identify what you consider as a paragraph. This is not

  We try to make a long list of edge member name changes (~ 200) for level 0 or level Parent members and noticed the API ESBOTLRENAMEMEMBER function. It seems that it could be used by others and have seen several Threads in OTN speaks of the function, but I have not seen all messages to a task force Excel VBA do a search/replace with this function.   Robert, I will try to set up like this:

  Open a workbook on Sheet1, place your new names in column A and the old names in column b. keep active Sheet1.
  Open "Visual Basic" in Excel
  Create two modules in your VBA project associated with the workbook - one containing the statements simply copied and pasted from esb32.bas, the other containing the code above.
  Place a breakpoint on the Public Sub UpdateOutline() line in the procedure.
  Place the cursor on that line and press F8 - then keep hitting F8 to step through the procedure. In particular, check the value of lngStatus after each call Essbase API - it must be null if everything works.

  If you are still experiencing difficulties and have / create an e-mail address display does not bother you, I could always send you a workbook. Must esb32.bas statements match your version, however, even though is not guaranteed.

  I discovered the problem - and it had nothing to do with EventInjector, in fact, it turns out that this last piece of code works as well as most of the other examples.

  So, what was the problem? Finally, I tried going back code EventInjector while she was running just after the new file was found on the camera. And it worked! So it turns out I was doing something in the code that turned into a focus back on to my application. This is why the EventInjector took effect on my application, rather than on the camera.

  Control Panel, user accounts, manage another account... try creating a new account, give it a name, select Standard or Administator... system proceeds to "Choose an account you would like to change" and goes no further.  Does not create a new account; It is there with an empty box as if he's waiting for me to make a choice.  The system is not inadmissible or hanging, and works fine otherwise.  I tried to experiment with different levels of UAC, but that makes no difference.  Manage another account takes me directly on the same screen, with the same behavior.

  I am trying to remote installation wizard allows you to add a PS6210x to an existing PS6000 with a PS6210xs group.   1. you use the user 'grpadmin' to connect to the GroupMgr, but this password may be another. Especially over a long period a customer may change the password for grpadmin but forget to change the GroupPW.

  Within GrpMgmr klick on group-> Member-> Set Password to set a new GroupPW. You don't need to know the old man!

  I plan to upgrade two programs to version 10, but I like to keep older versions of operation for some time.

  Two versions of Photoshop Elements (v 6.0 and 10.0) can co-exist on the same computer?

  In addition, both versions of Premiere Elements (v 4.0 and 10.0) coexist on the same computer?

  If the answers are Yes, are there special installation instructions to keep the 2 versions of the same separate program?

  Are you sure that you associate dimensions "VALxxxxx" in the workbench to your valid dimensions within Essbase?
  VAL dimensions are down at the bottom of the list of dimension for the adapter Essbase... and ValEntity, ValAccount, etc.

• Modification of user passwords / privileges via API

  I work with the API user in a custom user Manager utility to perform all the basic operations of an admin of luminaire (create, modify, delete).

  Above all, the tool is very simple, but I'm looking to see if anyone else has experienced two elements that are irking me that exist as features of the Engine.EditUserDialog () method.

  When you change an existing via the existing method of TS user, you can change the password & privileges without headaches.  However when you use the raw API none of these simple tasks seem trivial.

  (1) when 'I' User.Password, the chain is (naturally) scrambled to prevent casual snooping.  In my view as dialog box * anyway, so not done wrong. However, TS doesn't seem to know if it is powered by the chain on the side 'set' of the equation is already coded and based on my tests, seems to be scrambling twice if no change is made to this field.  Is it possible to implement User.Password which will _not_ force a "scramble"?  (in case I want to put the password to the value it was already?)

  Normally, I would just omit the 'set' action if I didn't change the value. But because of other circumstances (see below), I don't have that luxury this time.

  (2) in the API User.Privileges is a property read-only even for administrators.  Is there a work around for this for when an administrator wants to upgrade/downgrade a user access?  It seems to me that the achievable only thing to do is copy the info from the old user object, destroy it and make the new user with the correct privilege container object.  Adjust assignments of UserGroupList is pretty easy, but there is no way to modify an existing user privileges...

  I think you just need to modify the members of a particular group.

  That you have defined a new user Joe Brown as a technician but later, you will need to change to be an operator.

  All you do is remove a GroupUser technician members and add operator GroupUser members. You need not resubmit the password.

  Get a reference to Engine.UserGroup ("technician")

  with this reference, get a picture of the User.Members

  Find out where the user is in the table and remove this item

  close the reference User.Members

  Get a reference to Engine.UserGroup ("operator")

  with this reference, get a picture of the User.Members

  Add Joe Brown at the members table.

  close the reference User.Members

  Joe Brown will now be an operator and you do not have to change its coordinates.

  I noticed that by using the User Manager to see the changes that I could see that Joe Brown had changed groups and it has been removed from a group, but it has not been shown in the new group.saving the user changes and disconnect and connect again the changes where now seen.

  Then maybe you need to validate the user to the new group.
