Monitor logs
Hi all
I see some inconsitent data (as the data collection stopped if my server and its agents are in a State assets in foglight) to specific time limits.
I'm showing a few screenshots that might help you in the real problem in my console.
Is there a way where I can get each parameters collected by all agents on my server? Are there logs outside "the agent logs" where I can get a State of collection of accurate data.
Nicely, I would like to know if there is a specific approach in doing so.

We use the IC 5.6.7 cartridge for our monitoring infra goal. We have a requirement for the windows log file monitoring so that we can trigger alerts based on the words and we have not inherited cartridge more.
Can we control logs using IC cartridge or any separate available for monitoring log files?

If it's just normal newspaper followed, you can use the logfilter officer but which does not require a fglam on the computer running target

How do you get performance monitor logs
I want to access my system performance monitor logs, but cannot put them. I tried to register ' perfmon/sys' in the bottom search box, when I click on the Windows Start button. The magnifying glass search box disappears and an "X" appears in the bottom search box. I've never had this problem before. What I am doing wrong?

Monitor log file for Netbackup
Hello
We seek to monitor Netbackup backup errors in Foglight and I was wondering the best way to go about it. In essence the software Netbackup written in a file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\logs\backup_failure.log) and I want to draw attention when we get some messages, such as "Impossible" or "unsuccessful save sets. I tried to use the logfilter legacy agent, but this doesn't seem to work or I set up correctly. No matter which help out me? Also, everything what we use, that we will be able to draw the line complete or just be a generic alarm syaing "there is a problem with a nackup of netbackup" kind of thing?
All advice appreciated.

Hey Davie,
The LogFilter legacy agent is probably the best way to control this log file. Here's and example of how to configure the list of game:
For your case, you should be able to enter "Down" and "Unsuccessful save sets" on separate lines in the Match string column, and then matched with the appropriate alarm severities.
The resulting configuration alarms like this:
The alarm message reports the first 255 characters of the corresponding journal line.
After setting up and activation of the LogFilter agent, check the agent log to verify that he was able to find and read the target log file.

Foglight cartridge for the monitoring of newspapers
Hello
I was looking for cartridge for the monitoring of newspapers for the FMS Version: 5.6.10 and I have not found, can anyone let me know if there is any cartridge in Foglight to monitor logs. My requirment is to check the exceptions/strings in log so that I can generate alerts on it.

As mentioned Vlad, there's an agent called LogFilter, which can monitor log files
It is a part of the BONES of the legacy that the cartridge is downloadable under the name
"Cartridge Foglight for operating systems 5.5.4.

The cartridge requires a Foglight Manager Agent to be deployed on the computer where the log files.

How to monitor the application connects to the journal on the unit or using slog2info w view
I'm debugging on the device (purchased at Bell, runing 10.0.9.2372) production with the latest version of the SDK (SDK native 10.0.9.2372). I can't monitor connects using the View Log or slog2info w command described here: http://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/documentation/getting_started/tools/debugging.html
I use QNX Momentics IDE. After you add the view "Journal of the unit", "All" is the only option in "BufferSet" and "Buffer" menu drop-down, and no newspaper appears after starting my application. The status shows "Listening target ' 169.254.0.1", pending the first event... ». Are there any additional installation required to monitor logs in this view?
I have also tried running a SSH session and used the command 'slog2info w '. The command works on Simulator (Dev Alpha 10.0.10.263), but it returns immediately without any output on my device. The 'slog2info' command works, but it only dumps the log. I need to monitor the output log while I am debugging it. Do I have to activate what anyone on the device to make the command 'slog2info w' work, or I did something wrong here?

You are following this with a devmode running app, right? In other words, not one signed?
This has worked for you before, or is this the first attempt?
Some few people have seen 'slog2info w' stop posting any output. A reboot or two (of the aircraft) usually "fixed."

I have a new Cisco ASA5505 and I'm seeing newspapers at the level of the console. Currently when I make a record sh I just get the below. I expect, or I saw on messages system other PIX / ASA.
Any ideas on what command I need to run in order to allow these messages?

The "journal to see the" displays what is called the journal of the buffer. The registration of your buffer is disabled. Use cmd "logging buffered stored" config to activate it. You can adjust the size of the buffer with "logging buffer-size '. I think that buffer memory space is allocated in memory, so don't go overboard.

Pitfalls of Logging IOS - default configuration?
Log configured by default on IOS 12.1 and above traps? If so, the default debug value? for example, if you don't see 'logging trap' in the config file - this does not mean logging is NOT enabled. Opening session, logging traps are by default configs - logging in buffered memory is not. Answer please if you can confirm this - thank you!

Logging settings can vary with the version of IOS. I can tell you, "logging console debugging" is enabled by default in most of the IOS versions. 'consignment of information trap' and "no logging not stamped" may be the default with most of the versions.
Rather than trying to look for documentation see what that default value to recovery with different versions parameter record, well, we recommend that you use the command 'Show log' to check the status of the different types of logging and it will look something like this.

Error on new install http status 500, said "the monitoring service is not available..."
I don't really understand this problem. I am relatively new on tomcat and coldfusion, but I followed the basic instructions.
Deployment under Tomcat 7.0.68 and Java 1.8.0.77. It's on CentOS 6,7
ColdFusion Setup log, no errors, said 8890 successes. Tomcat on localhost: 8080 seems good. Using the JEE WAR file deployment, 30 days trial, production server. I modified the Web.XML of Tomcat to enable a deployment of 500 MB, the Coldfusion WAR file being almost 300 MB. I spent my file Catalina.out here, because it seems most relevant. And I really appreciate any help someone can offer.

Questions looking for events from a log file
I have the windows agent installed on some servers to monitor log files and run into problems trying to find specific events. I can see the events under HERE if I do a host name contains the name of the server, but if I then try to filter or search who, following the events specific to find I get no results. Also even when I'm filtered by host name and can view event I want to if I highlight and select "Contains: the data I want" she returned with no results.

My Windows Vista computer has been the leader of a WMIPRVSE. EXE process every 30 minutes or so. This process uses 50% of cpu and the PID can be connected to any other process or service.
