  • Monitor "Signle Out Of Range" error?

    Hello

I currently have two monitors Setup. The principal is a 20.1 "(également assez nouveau) and works very well, however, my 2nd monitor (old CRT 19"), decided the next day he does not want to work more. " He has the power, is linked up to my PC correctly, and I did nothing out of the ordinary recently. The problem is that I start my PC and everything it says on the 2nd monitor is 'Signle Out Of Range', and none of the controls on the monitor itself no longer works. I tried switching autour monitors to see if it works as a main monitor, but without success. Windows does not seem to think that something is wrong with her, any more than my graphics card.

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX GPU 512 MB of video memory

The system does not think that something is not at all I can say... can someone help me to try to find a solution or does it just sound like my last CRT monitor is eventually died?

    Thank you

    Ricky

All the information you presented suggests the monitor CRT is close to death. The switch that you did onscreen main task, without success, shows the connection of the cable, the port of graphic adapter and the details of the parameters are not the problem - the monitor is the problem. "Signal out of range" warning could mean several things, but statistically, it means the refresh frequency is zero, i.e. internally the horizontal sync signal is not present.

Display systems these high voltage (CRT) just "upwards and die", it is their behavior that is proven. So my advice is to plan a funeral and go shopping for a new monitor. Yes, patients out even of long comas, but I wouldn't bet on a surprising outcome.

    My condolences,

  • No Signal to monitor "Out of Range".

    Hey guys,.

I was playing Far Cry 2 on my PC (Windows XP), but it kept crashing. I know that when I restart my computer it uually solves this problem. I restarted the computer, but when it came to the login screen that the resolution is all out of whack, I think it was at the lowest resolution. I then connected, he went and changed the properties, by setting the resolution to the maximum, which is 1920 x 1080 on my ViewSonic VA2213wm monitor. After that I did the screen became black and says "Out of Range". I turned off my computer and then returned new. I could see all introductory screens, but once he got to the login screen it became black and repeated "Out of Range". I typed my password because my user is always entered in the box, and I heard the music of logon if of course I can't even log-in, nothing is displayed.

I tried to run in Safe Mode and last good known Configuration, but not more than anything. He always goes black when it gets to the login screen. I connected another monitor, ViewSonic (VA702) old, but who said too much "Out of Range" in the log on screen.

    Any help, please?

Ah my problem has been resolved by our friendly IT man.

The computer must be started in VGA mode. Then the motherboard disk had to be installed again, that fixed the problem. It seems that another driver I downloaded cover some of the mtherobards data, making the monitor not recognized to the box. That's why when I changed the resolution it clogged.

All is well now, thanks for the quick reply

  • Monitors flicker and "Input Signal Out of Range"

    Hello!

I have a Mac Mini (end 2012) 2.3 GHz Intel core i7 running up-to-date El Capitan, with two HP monitors 2071d.

These monitors have DVI connections. It is connected with Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter, and the other with HDMI to DVI adapter (provided with the Mac Mini).

Everything has been fine for a year until this week. Two monitors are:

    (1) intermitantly began flickering of the scrambled images

    (2) flickering intermittently at black or white noise

    (3) intermittently flickering white noise

    (4) the message of the form 'input out of range Signal. 1600 x 900 at 60 Hz settings."

How is this problem go and come, but rather continues today.

After research, I tried to start safe mode, but the problem persists.

I read that put the computer to sleep and then wake up could solve this problem... it worked a

couple of times, but the issue soon returned.

I tried to reset several times VRAM/LANDAU and SMC.

I doubled checked all the connections.

Under the system of preferences > display (when the image is stable long enough for me to see) everything looks OK. Under the screen of the 'Default display' tab is selected. On the color tab, there are three HP2071d listed (with a selected) in the window display profiles. I've linked by selecting one of the other "HP2071d" listed without noticeable change.

I also reset both monitors to factory settings via the menu screen of the monitors.

I also came across this mini Mac EFI Firmware Update 1.7 for flickering on end of 2012 Mac Minis, but when I tried to run I got "this software don't is not supported on your system. Ugh. It turns out that my Mac Mini is already updated to MM61.0106.B0A (2015-002)

Quite the same configuration except here, with 2 Samsung S22B310 DVI monitors on an i5 2.5 GHz in late 2012.

Both monitors isn't good. Which would lead us to think that the Intel HD 4000 is overheating and the problem is not with any of the adapters or cables. Although, if one of the cards was not internally, it could put additional heat stress on the graphics chip.

Personally, I will try a few things.

    1. turn off, unplug everything, open the bottom cover and give it a good cleaning to make sure it cools properly.

    https://www.iFixit.com/device/Mac_Mini_Late_2012

    2. try each monitor individually for awhile configurations see if the problem follows the monitor cable adapter installation.

(I know he'll be a brake after obtaining used monitors to double)

    3. try using > MacFanControl to monitor and help control the temperature of the GPU ITPP.

    http://www.CrystalIDEA.com/Macs-fan-control

FWIW, I do not use screensavers, but I do a lot of videos as well as some games of light on both my 2010 and 2012 of the Mini and I really believe that MacFanControl has really helped to extend the life of graphics on these two systems.

I use the control based on the sensors on the sensor of GPU ITPP and configured so that it starts slowly rise in power of the fan above 129' F

  • HP 2509 b monitor guard displaying "Input Signal Out of Range" and then go to sleep.

I went on vacation and shutdown my computer for 2 weeks.  My monitor worked great for a month before.  I came home last night and turned on my system this morning.  Now I get a white message in the middle of the screen with "input out of range Signal. Change the settings for 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz"and then the screen goes to sleep.  I can turn the monitor off, wait a moment and then turn it back on again, but continues to repeat the same thing.  I checked and the screen is already set to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz.  I use VGA and have the default positioned like this.  I followed the guide to troubleshooting online for this error, but it did not help.  Can someone tell me please how to fix this?

Finally, I got this figured out!  Here's what I did.

    Control Panel

    Display

    Parameters

    Advanced

    Intel(r) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver

    Graphics properties

    Display settings

    Expansion of the display

Chosen at this stage full screen (no border) instead of "maintain proportions"

As soon as I put this the error screen disappeared!  Can someone explain to me why this adjustment has been around?  I would like to know.

Thank you all for your help.

  • Monitor displays the error "out of range".

Some games worked properly in 17-inch monitor, but doesn't work in monitor 15 inch, get the message ' out of range, H-30-60 Khz, V-50-160 Hz. My screen resolution: 1024 x 768 60Hz.The graphics driver is up to date. Is there no way repair it on Control Panel?

Do a search for config.cfg and autoexec.cfg. They will very probably in the CS, Valve or your user folders for the account name. Rename them to config.cf_ and autoexec.cf_, and then start the game. That resets the audio, video and controller, so you will have to redo. Choose a lower resolution to front for your video, and you should be good to go.
It was the suggestion that I found for half-life, when a friend had trouble with her years ago (it is also used Valve), so it can work for you, too.

  • New monitor displays an Error Message "Signal out of range" when computer starts

Installed new ASUS VS24H-P control on my computer and I get this image of "out of range" bouncing around the corners of the screen.

This means that the computer sends a signal that the monitor is not capable of displaying.  It could be:

    • A screen resolution (width x height pixel size) is selected, the monitor cannot display
    • The refresh rate (Hz) is the one who can not display the monitor
    • These two

If you have another monitor, you can plug it to visit your office. Right-click and choose the resolution of the screen, then turn it down to a 'safe' resolution like 1024 x 768 (most monitors can display this).  Then plug your new monitor back and turn the resolution back to a better suited for this monitor.

  • clean install of windows XP to input signal out of range

Hi I recently took my old pc xp out of the dusty closet.
I discovered that the operating system has been corrupted then decided to do a clean install of windows xp.
However after that it says press any key to boot from the disk and I press a button, then it went to a screen blank and says on the monitor says "Input Signal out of range at 1280 x 1024 60hrz. change."
I also did a reset factory monitor and hooked up the old pc to the tv.
So I would like to know how to solve the problem, any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello

First you using a discrete graphics card or graphics are integrated with the motherboard? Change BIOS battery (or whatever it is in the BIOS change to any method) will not change anything to do with a graphics card discrete and not likley to do much for either integrated graphics card.

What it sounds like to me, is that the key to the race to start from the CD is not recognized and that Windows is actually booting from the hard drive with a resolution taken not supported by your monitor. But, being not there, I can't be sure of this so here are some ideas of diagnostic.

Start the PC without the CD inserted, do you have the same problem?

    The keyboard is correctly connected?

If a PS/2 keyboard is it plugged into the outlet of PS/2 mouse by mistake (keyboard taken are normally purple, green mouse normally Sockets)?

Is the keyboard PS/2 or USB? You can try another keyboard ideally with the other type of interface?

You can get in the setup of the BIOS by the appropriate key combination (usually F2 or DEL but I saw others also, look for the message at startup upwards)? If you can not it would indicate a keyboard problem.

If you can remove the keyboard as a problem, I would return to my original question on a discrete graphics card. If there is a discreet graphics card, the motherboard is also a graphic? If this is the case, remove the discrete card and try windows set up again. Or even try installing windows with a spare graphics card if you can get your hands on one. Turn off the computer and unplug it from the socket before to remove/replace all internal components.

Finally, what of the installation CD? Is this the one supplied with the PC? It is the recovery of the real manufacturer CD or CD from Microsoft genuine?

  • Error, input signal is out of range on installing Windows 7

Hello again, I install Windows 7 on my computer of mothers, but when installing, restart the computer, the screen does not work it says input signal out of range can be dis is because the video card is not a driver, we have a disk with driver say but. Help thanks for all this

I want to thank you to you all. I solved the problem, I just connect the PC to the TV via a cable VGA windows starts normally and I go to control panel and then to the system and security, then the administrator tools, then the configuration system. When the system configuration window opens I go to the page "boot" and click on "basic video" and then apply the settings and then click on "ok" and I restart the computer. When the computer restarts I unplug the TV and plugged VGA on the monitor cable. I expect windows to load and load successfully when all was fine with the monitor. I change the screen resolution to the highest that my monitor supports. And now everything is fine. Thank you.

  • Colors out of range

I'm working on something that will only be visible on a computer screen, and I want to use out of the color gamut, but I can't find a color profile that will allow it.
Y at - it a setting I can use that will allow me to use colors out of gamut?

    Thank you!!

If by out-of-gamut, you hear the colors that show an exclamation sign in the color Panel and the color picker when you work in RGB documents, here are the colors in the color space of the document that are not in the CMYK color space selected as a workspace in your color settings. Or in other words, it is how these colors will become when you change the document RGB to CMYK.

For example if you have a RGB document using the sRGB color space and the working CMYK color space is U.S. Web Coated SWOP v2 you a color scheme of the range, but if you change your working CMYK color space within the parameters of color for us newsprint that is much smaller range so much more RGB color will show the out of range road sign.

Even if you keep your colorspace CMYK to work the same word, U.S. Web Coated SWOP v2 but assign another RGB color space to your document, let's say Adobe RGB or ProphotoRGB which have ranges much wider than the sRGB color space, then also a lot that displays more colors out of gamut.

If by out-of-gamut you mean generally the colors in a any color space no matter what his color mode RGB or CMYK which do not appear in a different color space, you must specify what two color spaces you are talking about. Examples of color spaces are ones you can see in the RGB menu under workspaces of the color temperature. The color spaces that can be described in a color profiles can be RGB or CMYK.

    Edit:

    tamarasussman wrote:

Each monitor, not only the brand, but each unit of the same brand, has a certain color space single that can be measured with a measuring device color and a color profile describing the color space that can be created for it. If your document is assigned the color space of your monitor instead of some standard RGB color space as sRGB, AdobeRGB, and etc., then you will have a unique set of colors in the range showing the warning sign. So in your question, you must also specify which RGB color space you talk: standard or device-specific?
