  I did a test with my Blackberry that is connected to a BES, and it works very well using the code example.

  My question is this, 'channel browser push' can be used for Blackberry that is not configured in our BES.

  For example, I want to be able to deploy an icon on the Blackberry from customers and suppliers we have, but these Blackberries are not related at all our BES or network.

  Is it possible to do this?  If so, should I do something special to make it work?

  If not, does that mean my only solution is to create a Java application that automatically launch the browser Blackberry (second option from the first link)?

  The alternatives to this is a Java application (as you have discovered), BlackBerry Widget or Signal of Web.  Web signals is the equivalent to a BlackBerry Internet Server Browser channel thrust.

  Your laptop must be in the lab server LAN network to access, or else you should have the VPN connection to the LAN in which the lab server exists.

  Also to access objects of database in your schema to Application Express workspace, you can use the workshop of SQL as mentioned by Tommy or you can use Oracle SQL Developer, since you have the credentials for the schema to connect to and related IE required database server information full domain name / ip address of the server port on which the listener database service is running, database SID/database service name listening.

  Thank you, Liam, I think I found a workaround by inserting the tag because it is in the body of the module events instead. Now it shows the detail view. Weird, but it works.

• Problems to open the Web Application host with only IE comments

  I'm running a Windows 2008 R2 using VMWare Workstation 7.1.5 prompt.  The customer has an installed web application which is only compatible with MS Internet Explorer.  The guest network is configured to use NAT.

  When my host is connected to the local network of my company, I can use Internet Explorer to host to access web applications of the customer without any problem.

  When my host is not connected to the local network of my company (completely disconnected, or connected to a different network) I can't use Internet Explorer of the host to access web application of the burst.  But I can use the host Chrome or Firefox to access the customer applications.

  My company has my locked host IE while I can't make changes to it.  Is there something I can do with my network settings to get IE think it is connected to the local network of the company?

  It wasn't a DNS issue since I knew that I was able to connect using Chrome.

  It was a restriction of IE, but I was finally able to work around this problem.  My company gave me access to a local account on the machine that had full administrative rights.  Since it is a local account is not all corporate policies pushed to him.  In case you're wondering, I created a shortcut with the following command:

  C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe/user:\administrator "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Internet.

  Runs like a champ.  You will be asked for the password for the local account and then you are able to IE without restrictions.

  I have a need to set up a search based on a matrix type area. It is a matrix that shows a list of the postal codes to the bottom of the left column and a list of products across the top, and the corresponding field in a product and a postal code is the freight rate.

  Throw this open to the community for the chip, but off the top of my head... think of something along the lines of:

  Create web applications 3,

  1. Product (the fields product name & ProductID)
  2. Postcode (box Desc fields & zip code)
  3. Freight rates (fields FreightRateID (composed of ProductID_ZipCode), freight rates)

  Create a search form web app for Web App freight rates with:

  1. Select product, with options of web app 1 using value ProductID.
  2. Select ZIP Code, with options of web app 2 using postal code for the value.
  3. Hidden FreightRateID field.

  Once a visitor has chosen their product and their zip code using javascript concatenent the ProductID selected with selected postcode.

  This will produce a FreightRateID (for example PROD1_4567), which can be loaded in the hidden field on the FreightRateID.

  Once submitted, it will search the Web app for a freight rate that corresponds to the selected product and zip code, IE. FreightRateID.

  To facilitate the entry of freight rates, maybe add 2 data source fields to the web application of freight for the goods and postal code rate.

  Then, create a front-end web app add/edit (via a secure area) to grant access is done by:

  Select product, select ZIP Code then enter freight rates.  (FreightRateID can be created and filled in same way as the above search)

  I'm going by the demo of building a Web Application with EJB using JDeveloper11g. The demo lasts great until "Running Java outside of Java EE container Service".
  
  I followed the steps "That runs the Java Service outside Java EE container" exactly as written:
  
  1. now, create a new persistence unit to run the java service outside the Java EE container. Right click on the file META-INF. Persistence.XML and select new Service Java façade in the context menu.
  
  2. in the Java Service façade to create, if necessary, click next to go to the home page. In the class of Service Java Panel, you can choose to create a new persistence unit (in the next panel) or use an existing unit. Select Choose a persistence unit or create one in the next panel and check the generate a checkbox in the main() method.
  
  3. the name of the persistence on the outside unit. Choose the JDBC connection and make sure that the JDBC connection is set to HRConn.
  
  4. all methods should be selected by default. Deselect some of them so that your selection looks like the following image. (Remove the 'byRange' methods)

  You must make sure that the user you want to access the flight recorder is authorized to create the relevant MBeans. You have probably set the roles in the jmxremote.access file. Try adding:

  Hi Peet.

  The short answer is no.  The sendMessageToUser in the Administration of Blackberry API requires a user name which means that the device must exist on your BES server.

  You will need to consider ways to send PINs via a Blackberry phone physically connected to a PC.  Vocera (Wireless Wallace) did this, but I don't know all the details.

  There are always alternatives :-)
  In this case, the alternative solution would be to use the ServletContext getRealPath() or getResourceAsStream() method.
  In this way, you can load a resource from your web application, regardless of where it is deployed.
  It's practically the same solution, except for the resource specified from your web application, rather than the path of the classes.

  It is a perfectly acceptable method of Classpath and alternative might be better in terms of use of the servlet API rather than the standard java classpath.
