more 6s on 9.3.1 don't download or update apps

I've only had the phone a couple of months, and the problem happened about a week. I can't download new applications or update existing ones. It doesn't matter if I am on wifi or mobile network.

I understand that your iPhone is not able to connect to the App Store to download or update applications.  To start, I suggest that you follow the steps below.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If you cannot connect to the iTunes Store on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:

  1. Make sure that your date, time, and time zone are correct. Tap Settings > general > Date & time. Time zone can list another city in your time zone.
  2. Make sure your iOS software is up-to-date. Tap Settings > general > software update to check for updates. You can also connect your iOS device to iTunes and click on search the update on the summary page of your device.
  3. Check and verify that you are in range of a Wi - Fi router or base station. If you use the cell service, make sure the cell data are lit settings > cellular. If you are connected to cellular data, large items can not download. You may need to connect to the Wi - Fi to download applications, videos and podcasts.
  4. Make sure you have an active Internet connection. Check your device Manual for Internet connectivity.
  5. Check if other devices, such as laptops, are able to connect to the network of Wi - Fi and Internet access.
  6. Reset the wireless router by turning and then again.

If there is still a problem, learn what to do if your device connects to a Wi-Fi network.

    My App Store is not automatically updated all the apps for a few weeks, even though I have the "update automatically" setting on.     Try going into settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow. Try to install again.

    If the above does not work:

    Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. You may be able to pick up the tab App Store covering scribbles to the left.

    Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

    Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

    If neither works you may have a corrupt system and would have to do a restore. I restore as a new and test the phone as the backup may be corrupted. Make sure to import all your photos and important data first. If the backup is corrupted, restore it will bring back the corruption.

    After hours Windows Update continues to report 0% complete on the download of updates "Important." FF always asked me to confirm in the past and no settings have been changed before you try tab groups. Then when I open FF it again all the tabs I had open are still there. I tried refreshing FF and erase history, but that did not work. It's almost as if FF think windows and tabs I have open are a group of tabs, and he won't let me get rid of this group. How to stop groups of tabs now that I have them? Or is there something else? None of this was going on until this morning, I played with tab groups. I was curious what it was - it's going to make me kill one of these days lol.

    Note that using "show my windows and tabs from last time" as the start setting will also prevent Firefox to display an alert when you close the window.

  • HowTo: "don't show this update" for Microsoft Silverlight?

    I have a problem preventing the wanting to install Silverlight from Microsoft/Windows Update. Every time when I do a Microsoft/Windows Update, the 'software, optional"has at least a suggested entry: Silverlight.

    The first 10 + times this happened, I clicked on the "don't show me this update again", but it has always been ignored. The of Ms/Win next update, the update of Silverlight is there still.

    I'm not anti-Silverlight, but I do not need to have installed and prefer not to see the recommendation every time. IIRC, I installed it once on a virtual machine of MsVpc2007-SP1. Seemed ok but not essential that I have the boss needs to do.

    I'm a developer of software (for most MFC) who prefer to have my score of development as 'vanilla' as possible with only these tools/utilities that I have found to be essential/reliable/stable/etc...

    I could check with success "don't show me this update again" for most of the optional software utilities, such as Search, PowerShell, .NET, etc. Silverlight seems the only one that does not take account of the "don't show this update again."

  • Don't download the CS5 updates (not upgrade)

    I bought a new MacBook Pro and installed CS5. But when I update the programs of more creative it gives me 'there was an error downloading this update. Exit and try again later. "for each program.

    Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom. Maybe one of them will help you.

    (1) restart you device.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth). Channels 1, 6 or 11 are recommended for 2.4 band.

    (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available. Also turn off all apps to VPN and retest the Wi - Fi.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) backup and restore the device using iTunes. Try to restore as New first and test it. If ok try to restore the backup (the backup may be corrupted).

    Open Safari while holding the SHIFT key

    Try to reset the settings of Safari:

    1. open Safari

    2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

    3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

    4. click on remove all data from the Web site

    5. close Safari.

    Remove cache Safari files:

    1. click on finder

    2. look for the menu GO to top

    3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

    4. click library and find the Caches folder

    5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

    6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

    This should solve the problem. If it does not help, try to disable the Safari extensions

    2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)
