More light band/border around the perimeter of display

I searched this forum and find nothing... But I found mention of it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1207312 and elsewhere on the Web. I can't say exactly when it started, but I can't believe that I missed it when I bought the phone in February. There is now a pale whitish band around the perimeter of the screen maybe a 1/4 "wide. The feathers of tape slightly to produce a fine white line along its border inside. I see it on the home screen, and any time there is a dark background. This is especially noticeable with the gray background of the screen settings-display-brightness and the like.

I have to assume that it came with gingerbread. Someone else?

Thank you

Harris

It is a defect in the display. My 2nd phone atrix has had this problem. Return the phone for another.

  • Light blue border around the images

    When I put a picture up on my site it came with a light blue border which was placed a few pixels of the image. I really like the look. When I changed the image now has a black border that run at the edge of the image. Does anyone know how to get back the blue border?

    However, I want to warn you that this class will your image right... so if you just want to use the part of the border of it:

    Create another class and add it to your css
    {img.ilovethisborder}
    padding: 3px;
    margin: 5px;
    border: 1px solid # 56919;
    }
    and replace the class = 'float right' with class = "ilovethisborder".

  • Border around the selected ListField item?

    Hello

    I wonder if it is possible to customize a ListField, such as when you scroll through the list, the current row will have a border color around it?

    If this is not possible, I thought to imitate a ListField behavior using a TableLayout, where each row in the table has a HorizontalFieldManager.  Then, when an individual HorizontalFieldManager is selected, it will draw a border around it...

    Also, would it be possible to have a border around the current selected line (whether in a listfield or tablelayout) and then be able to select an object (such as a button) inside the line, without losing the border highlighted?

    Thank you!

    You might expect to have a special identification for the selected line in a ListField was asked and answered several times on this forum.  From memory, there are two options:

    (a) substitute drawfocus

    (b) in your drawListRow, check if the line that you draw is the selected line of the ListField.

    I suggest that you look in the forum for more information on these options.

    A ListField is a unique field, with a line at a time selected.  Without coding you something special it is not possible to have different parts of the line selected in different circumstances.  And although it is possible, don't normally add you a HorizontalFieldManager (or all other fields) to the ListField and which allows to paint content,

    What you're suggesting is indeed possible, but it is not for the faint-hearted.  I would recommend that investigate you other ways to achieve the desired effect before you start to look at using other fields to the layout and paint a line in the ListField.

  • Remove the border around the buttons in a CS Extension

    Hello

    I'm creating a new extension for Creative Suite and all the buttons I have in the extension are using icons, but there's always a border around the button, which I can't delete. I tried to change the borderColor to match the background color of the Extension, but the border is still there.

    I've attached a screenshot of one of the buttons add a button in the extension that you can see what I mean. This button should just show the icon 'more' and has no border around it. How can I remove this border? I am using the CSS to add the icons for the buttons, even using CSS means that I can not remove this border.

    Thank you

    Hi I have the piece of code that displays a simple next label field

                    if(response == Dialog.YES)

                        BrowserSession bSession = Browser.getDefaultSession();
                        bSession.displayPage("http://www.arsenal.com");
                    }
                    return true;
                }
            };

    My question is, I am able to add a border around the label field? How would I go to do this?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the replies. In the end, I found the method simple to solve this problem was to create a simple bitmap image and add to the screen where I want the border.

  • When turned on my laptop, there is a black border around the screen.

    Original title: screen resolution problem

    Hello

    A few weeks ago, I turned on my laptopn and there was a black border around the screen. I managed to change the screen resolution, but my laptop seems to think that I have a dual monitor? And my resolution is still not like it was before. Obviously this isn't a huge problem, but it's annoying to have to go and change it regularly.

    In addition, given that this has started to happen, I noticed that when I turn on my laptopn, instead of the usual Acer / Windows startup screen, the screen is all black, until the login screen appears. I don't know if this is related or how, once again, this isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but if an update is installed, you do not see the progress it's making!

    I ran a system restore, without success.

    Running Windows 7 on a laptop Acer Aspire. Any suggestions welcome, although I'm not that tech-savvy!

    Thank you

    Hello

    The first thing to check is your theme controls. Go to the control panel and select personalization. When this window opens, go down and select wallpaper. When this window opens go to the lower left corner and make sure that the background that position of the image is set to 'bridge '. Save the changes and return (right click on the name of the theme in the theme dialog box).

    Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

    Kind regards

  • How can I use Windows 8 to adjust the size of my desk? He 'overflows' the screen about two inches around the perimeter.

    He 'overflows' the screen about two inches around the perimeter. Example: The clock in the bottom right is almost invisible.

    I don't need to change my resolution and cannot do with my monitor. Also, I don't speak of re-sizing the interface, not the wallpaper.
    What kills me is that I did this work before and he doesn't remember how!
    I have the latest drivers for my card AMD (helps nothing in the Catalyst Control Center) and the generic PnP monitor.
    How can I get instead of Windows 8 which allows me to adjust the size of the screen (no icon or text size and no resolution)? Am I crazy, or was it easy to find before?
    Thank you!

    Hello

    This looks like a problem of scale .

    Open the Catalyst Control Center.

    Expand the section My Flat-Panel digital .

    Select the item Properties (digital dish) .

    In the resizing of the Image section, place a check in the option enable GPU scaling .

    Select the image of the scale to the size of the full screen .

    Click Apply/OK.

    Test and let us know the results.

  • Table border without a border around the cells of td in the it

    I have a page with a lot of tables on it. For one of the tables I want a border that goes around the entire table, but also creates a border around the cells of td in the table. My current coding includes < table width = "804" border = "1", etc. for the table, and < td width = "350" border-width: 0px; etc. to the cells and the coding does NOT work. I don't think I can create css rules to govern the border for this unique table because I have other tables in the page where I don't want to use this format of table/td cell border. Thanks for any help you can provide!

    Easy to do if you're simply targeting the special table with a class or ID.

    CSS

    {table. Special}

    border: 1px solid black;

    Width: 804px;

    }

    table. Special td {border: none ;}}

    I have an Indesign document I want to print with a slight border around the edge.

    I print it after have exported them in PDF format.  But when I choose the various combinations of the "print the printer marks" in the export settings, none of them doesn't seem to work.

    I want just a line simple thin border around the edge of the document to print.  I don't want the internal body to print (which it does sometimes).

    I know it can be done, because on some of my documents .indd it works... but I can't figure out what I did to get it printed like that.

    That's all!  Yes, I see now that I had requested a stroke to the master page in the file with a border.

    I created the first document in years, so I forgot and it's not really appear except when it is printed.

    So now with the new file I just applied a framework and drawn a line by 1 point on the main frame in the document.

    Now, it will be printed as I wanted.

    Appearance Panel, add a line (at the bottom of the appearance Panel). Move the line under the fill in it entering on the right side of the Panel, drag down filling. Make the race heavy enough to achieve the desired effect.

    Try to add this code to your CSS stylesheet:

    #sidebar img {}

    border: 0px;

  • How to get rid of a white border around the container Div (main box)?

    I look and look for a solution but could not find one. I develop a Web site, but the main problem is the white border (I changed it black so you can see what I mean) around the Web site when I go to preview DW to Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.Capture 1.PNG

    I've tried everything! margins of body of setting everything to zero, but nothing works... someone can help me?

    Ah, I see.

    When you got rid of the margins, your drawing of 1885 pixels width is now too narrow and he stops before your scroll bar on the right.

    If you want the design to fill the entire browser window, you must use % for width, not px.

    100% of the container and 25% for the 4 boxes
