    Windows Error Reporting shows several times:

    1. HH.exe hangs and does communicate with Windows
    2. MsSearch TerminateProcess & #x000d
    3. ApphelpSoftBlock & x000d #.

    I have no problem connecting to Windows Web sites otherwise or to other sites on the web.

    Can someone tell me how to fix this?

    Yay, I managed to solve the problem: the cause of erratic behavior has been due to the lack of a timer.

    The simple introduction of an audit of getTimer() in the method gameUpdate() has been just what he needed: the update of the framework was unrestricted to any delay and then ran wild.

  • Update of Acrobat Pro XI crashed the program and the print spooler

    I have a brand new 10 windows computer and had installed Acrobat Pro XI which worked great until the latest update has been released. My computer tried to auto install the update and the update failed. Immediately when it failed, it crashed my spooler to print and all my printers disappeared; I was unable to reconnect to them without having to restart the computer.

    The Acrobat site suggested that if the update was unsuccessful and failed, I should uninstall Acrobat Pro and reinstall it. Well, I tried that and the problem cascaded gets worse. Acrobat does not provide ANY technical assistance with this kind of thing except through public forums.

    When I tried to uninstall Acrobat Pro, as the site of Acrobat has suggested, I ran into the problem with the print spooler again; He could not reset and start. For example, Acrobat Pro can / can not be uninstalled. I tried to 'fix' the installation without success. And when I tried to reinstall the program, it could not properly reinstall because I had to install the 'Adobe Application Manager' that does not install with the following message: "Installer failed to initialize. " Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem"and has provided a link. Of course, when you click on the link, you get another message, "that The Adobe Support Advisor has been abandoned" direct me to the forums that provide absolutely NO support for that either.

    If you try to install Acrobat XI via Adobe Application Manager, I suggest to download an installer manually using this link: download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI or X and try to install again.

    In the PC crashed, the address book was a .wab file (hidden), but if you can enter the old PC or connect the hard drive to the new PC, I don't see how you could retrieve the addresses.

    Anyone know where I can download "Alien Autopsy" (type Alienware and not what appears on the Google search).

    I lost my when my laptop crashed some time ago and being in Aust we do not get the installation discs when we buy AW or Dell computers even on a laptop for $3,000.  I have mentioned previously on this forum and promised a set of disks, but it never happened.  No surprise.

    I had Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (I think as CS6) on my computer for some time, until autumn last when my computer crashed and I lost everything. I have no idea where are the original series box numbers and I currently live abroad. Is it possible to restore these apps or I have to buy again?

  • Satellite C660 - 23 M - driver causing crash at program startup

    I loaded a CAD program on my new 64 bit laptop, the program starts and then stops and windows closes. In incident reports, the modules ntddll.dll and aticfx.dll have both appear to be involved. Could there be some conflicts, can I update a driver somehow?

    I saw a report on a game site that AIS aticfx.dll the problen about the c660 series.
    Please help or the machine will go back to the shop.

    PS I tried to run in compatibility mode and disable the antivirus but the problem remains unchanged

    I think that the application of CAD is not fully compatible with the preinstalled graphics driver.
    Ntddll.dll is part of the windows system file aticfx.dll files seems to be a part of the graphics card driver and so I think that you should use another graphics card driver.

    The laptop seems to bear a graphics Intel HM55 HD card. Try to update the driver using the latest version of the Intel page.

  • Skype crashing the program and the PC when making or accepting a call?

    Recently, my Skype crashing and freezing my PC when I make or accept a call, so the only thing I could do was to reset my computer. It's never happened before and talk to my friends a pain when they call me will freeze, it will make me sometimes in the call so I can talk but not able to do anything on my computer. Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    We run windows Vista Edition 32-bit home premium.  Installed at the factory we have Microsoft works and many options, and additional games. After we have made of our hard drive wiping and a clean install of windows Vista again these elements did not return to the top... We have done this before and it was something we had to do to get these things once again, but I forgot what it was.

    We have no shadow on our hard drive... we have removed all the shadow copies and all the windows of OLD files, etc... We needed a drive completely clean.
    Can someone please tell me how to restore the other options?

    Also since the reinstallation of Vista we have many games that once installed so see the as installed in the control panel in Add Remove programs but are not of anywhere in the computer in the list of programs or in a search?

    Thanks for posting on the forums.

    Quick questions, did you use a Windows Vista DVD to perform a clean installation of Vista? You have a set of disks of restoration of the manufacturer of your computer or you have separate disks for Vista, Applications and drivers etc. ?  You've probably used your before restore disks to restore your computer to factory settings where it will be wipe your drive and perform a clean installation of Vista with your applications. Please check the disk set you have and check with the manufacturer on how to perform a full restore of your system.
