Looking for 07e8h Manual of the motherboard and Bios!
Hi, I'm looking to get a copy of the manual that came with the card mother 07e8h from compaq and a bios that would allow overclocking.
It is unlikely to find any BIOS of HP/Compaq which allows overclocking. If your system is a Compaq Presario 6000, 6000 t, 6000xx or 6100xx series Desktop, this PDF may be what you are looking for;
http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf-Java/Doc/PDF/c00000813.PDF
and the drivers for the 6LPXE1 version can be found here;
Hope this helps

Satellite C660 - compatibility between motherboard and hard drive internal
Hi, I have a problem with the compatibility between the internal (1 terabyte) hard drive and installing windows 7 pro.
I broke my old internal hard drive (320 GB) and I bought the new hd (1 tb), but during the installation it says that w7 cannot be installed on this new hard drive. Can my pc motherboard (serial number: 3B071014k) support the new hard drive (serial number: wd10jpvx)?
and if the answer is 'yes', how can I make it work?First of all the question has nothing to do with the motherboard and HARD drive compatibility.
If the HARD drive is visible in the BIOS (first page), the HARD drive is supported by the BIOS and HARD disk controller.
In the case where the drive HARD isn't recognized, you will need to replace this HARD drive with another. I guess the smaller size of the 2.5 SATA HDD THAT would be taken in charge (500 GB)However, in case the HARD disk is visible in the BIOS, you should be able to install Windows 7.
Before starting the installation, you must format the HARD drive and should create the system partition.
For this procedure, I recommend to use some tools such as partitions for example: GParted
GParted is a freeware Linux tool.
You can create a bootable USB key in order to start the device using GParted:
http://gparted.sourceforge.NET/LiveCD.phpThen, you should be able to format the HARD disk and create partitions.

Satellite A100 PSAARA - Questions about RAM, VGA and BIOS
I used Toshiba Satellite A100 PSAARA, now I have a few questions:
1. I have updated the BIOS for my laptop (new version 6.0 to version 5.10): everything seems to work ok, but after I rebooted the laptop, it automatically connect a black screen with these warning "checksum bad sectors, F1: default settings, F2:..." (remember exactly).
I pressed F1, my Toshiba reboot works ok after that, so there's something wrong with this warning?2. I upgraded RAM to 2 GB (1 GB + 1 GB) with the KingMax brand, if the RAM expandable max I can do on my laptop?
3. This Toshiba laptop use to edge or video card, I check my Nvidia geforce card real estate (laptop) and I saw this: memory: 256 MB + RAM shared memory: 256 MB = 512 MB of total memory?
So: can I upgrade my card graph and maximum card that I can use?4. I cannot set 75 Hz for refresh monitor, can see 65 Hz
Thanks for your help!
1. try to load the default settings in the BIOS. Then it should work.
2. the Satellite A100 supports 4 GB max.

Windows 7 genuine? New motherboard and processor
Hello
My motherboard and processor is dead, and you can buy them is out, so I had to buy a different motherboard and a different processor. Nothing has changed. Windows 7 activated without problem, it says "The Activation was successful" and that my Windows 7 is "authentic".
What I've heard of before is now Windows 7 becoming not authentic after the installation of updates. Is this true? I have a legitimate copy of Windows bought on Amazon. I've already talked to Microsoft to see if I could turn on a new motherboard and CPU, and they said that the key was "good" and I could activate on the new Board of Directors and the CPU.
So is this windows genuine? I have no call at all MS activation. And it will become inauthentic after installing updates?
Thank you for your help. Happy new year!
Alex
Very well. I was advised by Tom Hardware forums and Windows 7 Forum that as long as the button is activated, it will be good to use, and it can be activated because unlike most recent motherboards, the motherboard has no SLIC, integrated into the BIOS feature.
Thanks for your help.

Tecra M9 - reader of fingerprints and BIOS password
Aloha
I want to disable the fingerprint reader and bios password at startup of the computer.
I already uninstalled upek protector suite ql 5.4.0.2934, but at the start, I'm still prompted to slide my finger.
I've seen and followed the instructions in "toshiba passes: definition and suppression (BIOS passwords, supervisor and Windows)", but I still have to enter my password to start the computer.
What should I do?
MahaloIn the field "Enter new password" press only in order to remove the old drive HARD password... Repeat this in the field "confirmation"...
Then he must change the password for HARD drive status to "unregistered".
After that, save the BIOS changes and exit the BIOS. -

Difference between BIOS version 1.40 - win and BIOS 1.40 - trad
What is the difference between version 1.40 - win and BIOS 1.40 - BIOS trad?
Win version is the version that we can and must be installed when Windows is running. It runs as an application.
Traditional version is the version that must be installed using the floppy or USB key.
Interesting paper on updates to the BIOS, which you can find on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9502M10000R01.htm
Check it out.

Upgrading motherboard and CPU, can I keep the case?
Hello
He was considering upgrading my motherboard and processor in my Pavilion HPE h8-1020 with a motherboard ASUS Rampage Gene IV and a processor Intel Core i7-3960 x but I have two questions:
(1) even if the mother is form Micro ATX factor, (supposed to be the same as the case form factor I've had with my h8-1020) will be the motherboard in the case so they still features with card readers, USB ports and LED?
(2) Will Upgrading the major portions of my PC problems for the Original (Windows 7 64-bit) operating system that currently reside on my hard drive?
I love the current aesthetics of my case and the system. Hoping I can keep most of the features I currently have. Thank you, your help will be greatly appreciated.
Hello
Look at models of bolt between two motherboards. The i/o HP plate will not work with the ASUS card sort should use the i/o ASUS plate (hope it fits). The ASUS Q-connector will help your with the front pin but write down it to the bottom of the function for each connector.
Case diagrams should not be done.

Satellite Pro A100 - CD/DVD drive is not listed in the Manager of peripherals and BIOS
Can Hi anyone tell me what is wrong with this laptop?
The problem is im using my DVD - ROM drive and it stops working. I went into Device Manager and it wasn't there and it was not in my list of drives. I went and checked the BIOS, it is not listed there either and the BIOS pick up all get them is check the cable or the conection.
Would be grateful if some knows what happened or if my hard drive is gone.
Thank you
Hello
If the CD/DVD drive is not listed in the Device Manager and BIOS, it seems to be defective and must be replaced.
What do you think about this? You can exchange the car yourself. Check for a compatible CD/DVD Player user manual or go to an authorized service provider. Technicians can order a new drive to swap.
Sorry, but if the drive is not listed in the BIOS seems to be defective.
Good bye

CD/DVD drive, it is not supported by Windows XP and Bios
I bought a new Mat * un Panasonic cd/dvd player.
It only works on Windows 2000, it is not supported by Windows XP and Bios, so I can't start with.Could you please provide some information about yourself (name) for laptop?
Did you buy this player or that player supplied with the notebook? If the player is not berecognised by the BIOS, then in my opinion, the drive supports bad master / slave / parameters c - salt.
You should know that not all drives are compatible.Cannot change settings as the dose of disc supports not no rider, but only the firmware.

10 Windows and BIOS OEM different keys product key
Recently, I upgraded my Lenovo Windows Windows 8.1 10 PC. For Windows PC 8.1 windows OS product key is embedded in the BIOS. After the upgrade the OS of Windows 10 of Windows 8.1, I compared the product key Windows 10 and BIOS OEM key and what I have discovered, is that the two are different. I expect that the two keys will be the same. Can someone tell me why the keys are different? What kind of question? Contact Microsoft for the same thing?
They must be different. You have upgraded a system 8.1 Windows system Windows 10. As part of this process, a new key for Windows 10 is generated and assigned to your system. This is as expected and by design. No need to contact Microsoft.

Satellite A110: I need to replace the motherboard and the CD/DVD combo drive
I have a Satellite A1100, and my CD/DVD Combo needs to be replaced... also, I need to replace the motherboard by qualifying the connections that connect the CD/DVD drive is damaged. Is there any possible way for me to get the motherboard and the CD/DVD combo myself or should I consider a service repair center?
And if there is a way to get the spare parts of CD/DVD and a motherboard... can someone please tell me where I can get them from? If anyone has any idea how much it's going to put me back I would appreciate, they would let me know how it is... also, I would gladly help if someone can tell me what I can do about it.
Thank you
Hello
How old is your machine? If you still have your warranty, so why not give your machine to a local service partner?
So if you don t give something on your guarantee you can trade your coins. But to look for the pieces on google and you won´t get any help from toshiba (e.g. manual disassembly or something similar).
I tried long before your request and I made my experience that if you want to open your machine your completely on your own.
Welcome them

Satellite L300 - 25G - where can I get a new motherboard and keyboard?
Hi all
I have a laptop that has had a good cup of tea (with sugar) overturned on it - the motherboard and keyboard are both dead...
Where can I get a replacement motherboard if available at all?
Thanks for any help
Ben
Hello
I'm sorry to hear that, but I think that these things can happen. Nobody's perfect ;)
Well, you can get a new mother card and keyboard form an authorized service provider. Technicians can also exchange parts and check your laptop (maybe other parts defective too).
Here, you can search the nearest SPAS:
