The most recent discovery is that I can not remove many tags applied to a folder of items. I have to delete them individually, and it's a pain because I added more than 100 items in this folder.

  If anyone knows the same thing, please let me and Apple know.

  Inside this folder, select all the files. Right-click on one of the selected files. In the context menu, click tags... Back space all the tags that appear in the text field. Press ENTER. This will remove all tags (including several tags in a file) all selected files.
