Move my photos from Aperture 2 to LR3

Snow Leopard.

Once I used Aperture 2 (I don't know why) and I would like to get my photos from there and import them into LR3.  I have about 2000 or so photos in A2.  I don't know how to do this, because the right Aperture library takes the form of icon and opening, open A2.  Does anyone know how to import my A2 library in LR3?

Same question for iPhoto.

Thank you very much for the help.

Export and make sure that check the option to include XMP sidecars.

Moreover, to search in this forum. There are detailed discussions on the subject.

  • How do I import photos from Aperture high ground for inDesign

I did a bit of research on this but it seems that nobody has found a good way to do it.  However, it seems simple enough...

-My photos are in Aperture 3.x.

-I just got inDesign CS6 to create a book.

-I can click and drag images from Aperture to inDesign without problem, except that... it brings in the preview.  Not the file full ground.  I don't mind working with the preview low ground of course... as long as it brings then size one at time of export.  But this seems not to happen.

System: iMac 24 ", Mac OS 10.8, all the latest version of the software.

I guess I could start by exporting all the photos on the desktop, but this would be an additional step of your time.  There must be a better way.  Uhhhh... right?

    Thanks for any help.

You mean like by selecting 'View of the icon' from 4 different display modes at the top of the Finder Windows?

You can also adjust the size of the preview with the cursor on the bottom right window in icon mode.

Click on the images below in the forum to see a larger view.

Or as "Point of view Coverflow" one of the other points of view. You can scroll through the photos using the arrow keys on your keyboard.

Or by clicking on the icon of one of your photos, press the space bar on the keyboard.

You can then use the arrow keys left and right to scroll through your photos. The following photos will replace the current photo on the screen.

Or if you have Creative Suite, you can use Bridge to view your photos at the same time. There are also some other features in Bridge. You can even drag photos directly from bridge to InDesign and it will automatically create links.

In more recent versions of Mac OS x and InDesign, you can even drag the photos directly from the Finder in InDesign and it will automatically create links.

  • How can I access Photoshop elements 9 organizer of iMac Apple Dock & move all photos from iPhoto

I have been using Photoshop Elements 9 to change my digital photos from iPhoto.  I found using both these confusing applications and decided to only use Photoshop Elements 9 to edit and organize my photos.  Right now I can only access the editor of Photoshop Elements 9 of my iMac Apple Dock.  How can I access all the features of Photoshop Elements 9 of my iMac Apple Dock?  Should what steps I follow to move all of them now organized in iPhoto in the Photoshop elements 9 multimedia?

The next time that you start the Organizer, go in the Dock, click on more and hold its icon there and go to options more > keep in dock.

To copy your photos from iphoto, go to file > import from iphoto. This will duplicate your photos, however.

  • How to move a photo from mac to iPhone

How can I move a photo in a folder on my desktop of my iMac to Photos on my iPhone. When I use iTunes, I check synchronize Photos, then select choose a folder in the drop-down menu, find the file, the jpeg format is shaded on and not available for move. Why? What I am doing wrong. I don't want to move the jpeg pictures on my iMac, but if I have to how it prevents all my photos in Photos being transferred to my iPhone?

Open the JPEG in preview and then click on the button share and send it to yourself. Open the email on your device, tap and hold your finger on the photo until you see the window options. Click Save Photo, and he'll put it in your Photos on the device.

  • photo from Aperture book printing

We can no longer order books photos in Aperture with the Apple eco-system. One says "the possibility to order books, cards, calendars and prints is no longer supported in this version. Upgrade to Photos for OS X on the agenda". The problem is then forced to completely redo the photo to the (relatively inflexible in the opening) help book Photos of models.

Apple has stopped support for the products printed for Aperture and iPhoto, at the end of March, it's true.

Only products created in Photos for Mac will now be printed by Apple, and opening with custom layouts books cannot be migrated ly without loss of Photos.

A way to get opening books printed is to print the book in PDF format and send this PDF to a different service.

See the link below on how to save the PDF file for printing with PrestoPhoto post by PrestoMeghan:

  • PES 9 can import photos from Aperture?

I would like to import into organizing PSE9 in the catalogue of the opening. Is this possible?

Assuming that you mean that you want to use organizing instead of opening to organize your photos, the easiest is to export the photos in aperture on the desktop, put them where you want to keep and use the file > Get Photos > files and folders.

But you don't know that you can use PSE as external editor for aperture?

"ACR" is Adobe Camera Raw, which is that you open your images with. You make all changes using Camera Raw, or simply open them? If you are editing in Camera Raw, what happens if you use the standard file > Open option, instead of opening as...

Another thing, you'll want to do, is to make sure that everything is up to date. This includes Windows 7, Photoshop and your video card. All the these can play a role in the issue of the checkerboard.
