Movement of pupil of limit

Hello fellow animators!

I have a student who moves beyond the layer of my eye.

Well Technivally talk, it moves within the layer of the eye, but my eyelayer includes a shadow as well (which can not be separated from another layer)

Is there a way to restrict the movements of the pupil of a CBScertain area?

Thank you very much for your help!

  • Symbol animation does not play on the main timeline

    I created a ŒIL on the main stage and then transformed into a symbol of Clip and in that nested some cover eye movements and pupil. If setting it up like this:

    ŒIL

    -top cover

    -bottom cover

    -mask

    -student (student is also a symbol)

    -White

    Once the playback cursor reaches the image where the symbol of the ŒIL begins, the playhead moves through the timeline but any animation nested in a symbol is read. All I see is the static image of the first frame in the nested symbol. I thought that maybe I needed to extend the size of the layer of the EYE on the main stage and add more pictures. I added more pictures that the nested animation had actually and still no animation showed on the main timeline...

    Any thoughts?

    It is expected your wash / play timeline in the ide.  If you test, you should see the animation of your movieclip.

    If you keep an eye on the value of mcContent._alpha, you will see that you will never the second function onEnterFrame, the _alpha property continues to go until it reaches a maximum and then stop negative backwards, which means it is invisible.  I confirmed this with the execution of your code.

    I don't know what is the limit.  In Actionscript, when a limit is reached, it is common to move towards the opposite limit - basically a digital loop system.

  • PAL or NTSC?

    I am very new to this, so please forgive me if I ask any stupid questions.

    My camera is a Sanyo Xacti CG-100, which uses the MPEG-4 AVC/H. 264...

    I am in England so I guess that affecting project presets PAL would be OK, but when I installed pre 9 I might have forgotten this, I don't know, but it may be set to NTSC, when I create a new project and change the settings from NTSC to PAL and then within the project drag one of my clips to work with her , I get a warning saying; "mismatched project settings preset" format of the clips you add do not match the project settings. For best results, you should use a project preset that matches your clips you want to change the project settings to match your clips? "When I click Yes, it will automatically select the NTSC, and there seems to be no problem with that... So how is it important that it is set to PAL, if I'm the based in the United Kingdom? Or is there a chance that happens because I was not set up as a PAL when I installed before?

    Hope that makes sense...

    Thank you

    Your camcorder shoot in 30i fps. So, Yes, I would recommend that use you the Full HD NTSC 1920 x 1080, what AVCHD preset with stereo audio. You can also change the suffix on the video of .mp4 to .m2t. I would ignore all the warnings project Mismatch.

    Although I would recommend that you only shoot in Full HD 1920 x 1080 mode. (The camcorder shoots in a number of formats and quality levels).

    Ideally, this video will appear on your timeline with NO red line above the clamps until you add effects or transitions. This indicates a perfect match between the video source and the project settings.

    However, he is unable to go. These camcorders are not for video production in a universally editable format. Even the manufacturers sell like cameras shoot-and-download-to-YouTube. For your more wise to move may be to limit your editing to the software that comes with the camcorder.

  • Limit the movements of the mouse in Authorware

    Hi all

    I try to limit the movements of the mouse of a user in Authorware. So far, I was able to do something that changes the cursor when it is over a square (mobile area). However, I missed out yet how to limit the mouse to go outside the edge of the square. Thinking has been to follow the point where the user has left the square with the cursor and set CursorX and CursorY to these values. However, these system variables cannot set a value, read only (AFAIK). Did anyone have any suggestions?

    Kind regards

    Frank

    Cannot be done with Authorware alone...

    Easy solution - use the SetCursor function to hide the mouse (4) when he leaves the defined area, set it to the arrow (0) when he enters. Don't forget to put the arrow, so when you leave the page otherwise.

    More difficult, but what you need – load the SetCursorPos of WinAPI.u32 function that allows you to actually set the cursor position... then as above, when the cursor leaves the area defined, to put back...

  • limit the movements of movieclip

    Can anyone help? I have a clip which moves along the y-axis in increments of 435 pixels controlled by buttons, up and down, it works fine, but I need to limit somewhat the maximum distance it can travel in both directions.
    for the time being, it moves off the stage in both directions.

    I hope that's clear, here's the code that it can explain what I'm trying to achieve better

    Pixel = 435;
    up_bt.onRelease = function() {}
    tweenmc();
    };
    function tweenmc() {}
    easeType = mx.transitions.easing.Regular.easeInOut;
    var thumbs._y = start;
    var end = thumbs._y - pixel;
    var time is. 9;
    var mc = inches;
    Tween = new mx.transitions.Tween (mc, "FLF", easeType, begin, end, time, true);
    }
    down_bt.onRelease = function() {}
    tweenmcreverse();
    };
    function tweenmcreverse() {}
    easeType = mx.transitions.easing.Regular.easeInOut;
    var thumbs._y = start;
    var end = thumbs._y + pixels;
    var time is. 9;
    var mc = inches;
    Tween = new mx.transitions.Tween (mc, "FLF", easeType, begin, end, time, true);
    }

    any help would be appreciated.

    For down:
    var end = thumbs._y + pixels;
    If (end > [your limit here]) {}
    end = [your limit here];
    }

    For upward:
    var end = thumbs._y - pixel;
    If (end< 0)="">
    end = 0;
    }

    Note that, depending on where the point of alignment, location you need to adjust the value 0 in the above code.

    can someone help me?

    as I say, it's difficult to know exactly what you're after without sitting with you, to small changes in desired outcome may have differences in the code, but you take when same - 2 - Please see code attached for another attempt at what you are after...

    the main problem with your code on the frame, was otherwise, your use of the onLoad. onLoad only works with movieclips connected to a class. You can actually just use onClipEvent (load) to execute code when something on the stage is loaded... it is useless anyway, because as soon as the code on this frame is processed the movieclip will have been loaded, so I just got this code in the event handler. see livedocs

  • Limit move in excel worksheet

    Older versions of Microsoft Excel have a limit of about 65 000 lines in a single worksheet.  I am writing a program that's going to sit and take data throughout the day and it runs the risk of hitting this limit, so I will try to devise a way around him.

    The idea of the workaround was that should normally be data up to what he recorded 65 000 data points, which case it changes the name of the file with the "Build Path" function and continues his road.  You can see the process in the picture as an attachment.

    I get the same error message, however, who says "Error 7 occurred open/create/replace the file writable spreadsheet String.vi-> write to the spreadsheet files (DBL) .vi-> IME Keithey Read.vi" with a possible reasons: LabVIEW: file not found.

    You don't create Excel spreadsheets. You create text files. Then why are you worried about the limit of 65 000 lines?

    In regards to your code, you do not create the path correctly. Did you put a probe on the output of the function of building? If you did, you would see the problem. You are turning the file name in a directory. I think that your intention was to create an additional file with 'extended' appended to the name. In this case, you will need to use the path to get the name of the file, edit it, then use Build Path to rebuild the path. In addition, you write originally in the name of the original file.
