Limit the movements of the mouse in Authorware
Hi all
I try to limit the movements of the mouse of a user in Authorware. So far, I was able to do something that changes the cursor when it is over a square (mobile area). However, I missed out yet how to limit the mouse to go outside the edge of the square. Thinking has been to follow the point where the user has left the square with the cursor and set CursorX and CursorY to these values. However, these system variables cannot set a value, read only (AFAIK). Did anyone have any suggestions?
Kind regards
Frank
Cannot be done with Authorware alone...
Easy solution - use the SetCursor function to hide the mouse (4) when he leaves the defined area, set it to the arrow (0) when he enters. Don't forget to put the arrow, so when you leave the page otherwise.
More difficult, but what you need – load the SetCursorPos of WinAPI.u32 function that allows you to actually set the cursor position... then as above, when the cursor leaves the area defined, to put back...
Help?

Object and movements of the mouse on reverse limited
I'm trying to make a more interesting background for a page that contains several objects moving slightly,
According to the "x" coordinate of the mouse. I'm trying to limit the movement to 100 pixels in contrast to 'x' coordinates of the mouse. For clarity, I'll stick to a single object (object_mc)
For the moment, I've been throwing around this basic code, which is very representative of what I'm trying to do, however I never did nothing about this movement.
mouseInterval = setInterval (x_inverse, 10);
function x_inverse () {}
object_mc._x = Math.round ( / / / I've been plugging away and begins to believe that I have to use some kind of limitation function with regard to _root._xmouse / / / );
}
The idea is that, when the mouse is x = 0, object_mc is at x = 100 and vice versa. These details must also be flexible, because when the mouse is x = 1-500, 'object_mc' is x = 500-400. Thus, while the range for the "_root._xmouse" is the entire canvas, the beach to the "object_mc" would be limited to a defined area (for example, 400-500).
Any help would be appreciated, and I would be more than willing to follow a tutorial on mine if pointed in the right direction.
Thank you!

I guess the mouse battery is fully charged and that the mouse work? You can see if the mouse is paired with your mac?
You can also use the arrow keys + return to select a user to connect.

When the pages load, freezing unless I move the mouse
He took me to always happen. I always have to move the mouse to get the computer to do anything.
Hello niborlea, several other affected users have reported that it was a problem caused by malicious software on their pc.
Please run a full scan of your system with the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner (these two security tools are free). -
Mac Book Pro stops unexpectedly during startup. I can get it to go to my office, if I continually move the mouse during the boot, but after I launched Firefox and try to do anything, it will stop. If I try to run the scans of security or reinstall OS X using the command + R and disk utilities, it stops. Sometimes it gives me a box saying something about stopping with various options such as Cancel, stop, reboot, etc., but it makes no difference that I click on, she stops. Sometimes, I get no warning at all. This can be corrected? I'm not savvy Mac.
Reset the SMC could solve problem then.

Firefox does not load pages unless moves the mouse or keyboard is pressed
Hello
I saw this problem listed several times before this post, but none of the solutions have helped me.
I am using Firefox for ages and the latest 3 updates or so were expose this problem. When I try to load a website, Firefox will start to takes me to the page and then hang. The circle in the tab will stop moving and it will stay there until I move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard. As long as the mouse moves permanently or the keyboard keys are pressed, the page will load very well. The same thing happens with YouTube. The video starts and then freeze unless the keyboard/mouse is moved. Firefox also has this problem when I try to download a file from a Web site. The download starts and then hang on until I move the mouse or press a button, then it will continue for a few seconds and hang on again until I repeat the movement of the mouse or press the keyboard button.
So far, I tried to update Firefox, Java and Flash; Starting Firefox in Safe Mode; uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox: do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox with removing profile and creation. I ran ad next and malware detection with no infection found tools: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SuperAntispyware, and AdwCleaner scan Microsoft security, Windows Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy, utility Kasperky free Security Scan and Anti-rootkit TDSSKiller.
The only thing I tried that 'seemed' to work was from Windows Mode safe mode with networking and run Firefox there. I was able to watch YouTube videos without freezing and websites seem to load properly. Of course, I can't run in Mode safe all the time.
I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like when Firefox crashes on Google News. Note that the images in part loading, but a good number of them is waiting or not loaded.
I hope someone can help me, because I like Firefox and I wouldn't switch to Chrome or (shudder) IE.
Thank you in advance for your help!

My system had this problem going back months or years. Read the other threads which were old/treated with previous versions of FF.
The problem of mouse movement occurs on my system viewing any video. She is also apparent in certain actions such as selecting Refresh or other actions on the page. Unless / until you move the mouse from the action of progress that appears in the tab there is a delay/no action unless / until the mouse is moved.

I am running version 34.0 Firefox and I have to move the mouse to load pages or videos. I don't have to do this problem in Internet Explorer, Firefox only.This problem can be caused by malicious software.

The screen freezes when the mouse does not move
Hi, I have always used Mozilla Firefox and loved it, but in recent weeks it drives me crazy. Whenever I load a Web page and I move the mouse it freezes just until I move the mouse again. If I load the page even off the coast of internet Explorer it loads immediately without moving or touching anything. I'm on the current version of 34.0 beta version update channel. I tried to use an earlier version and the same problem is there. I really want to use Firefox, but it is at the stage I want to if I have to be sitting at the computer by moving the mouse to load each page that I need. Can someone help me please.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
