Is there a limit of 60 minutes, on images that Windows Movie Maker can record on a DVD?

Windows Movie Maker says something like: "video may not match the disk.» Make sure you have only 60 minutes of video on storyboard table".  Is - this WMM all can handle?  It's a standard 4.7 GB DVD-R.

In general... a 4.7 GB DVD will take 1 hour of high-quality video.

Some DVD Authoring software uses compression to increase
the duration.

  • Why is there no source audio into Windows Movie Maker

When I decided to use windows movie maker again after 4 months latter. When I try to tell, he says "an unexpected error has occurred" and the Audio Input Source is missing. When I check to see if there were other Sources of entry there were not any and it was empty. The Audio device has shown. It also only allows me to post videos. It is said: check that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the backup location is still available and that there is enough available disk space and then try again. I use my Microsoft Lifecam V2000 and my VIA (WAVE). The Audio Input Source that I use usually is the stereo mixer. I downloaded Audacity and they both work very well.

I use an mp3 file (pendulum - watercolor) and have a lot of footage, often used with effects. They are 1280 x 1024 and a .avi file. Everything should work fine, but still does not work. Help me!

  • Is there a free software to convert DVDs to Windows Movie Maker software

    Hello

I have a problem loading the images to a DVD in Windows Movie Maker. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm looking free software which will convert a DVD to a file compatible Windows Movie Maker.
    Thank you.

The following steps may be worth a try...

I'm guessing that this isn't a step a commercial DVD
with protection against copying? If_yes_read on...

FWIW... break the copy protection on
    commercial DVDs is illegal.

Insert the DVD into your DVD drive... If AutoPlay or
Launch of Windows Media Player... just close them.

Now... to... Start / computer... a click right on the
icon for the DVD player is in and choose...
Open or explore... it allows to display the directory
    the DVD.

Find the VIDEO_TS folder and open it... video
    files have a. Extension VOB.
Copy them to a folder on your hard drive... it
Maybe more than VOB files and those with the
larger sizes of files are the ones you need.

If you're running Vista Home Premium or Ultimate...
You may be able to import the VOB files directly
    in Movie Maker.

If not, try renaming the. VOB files. MPG or
. AVI and try to import into Movie Maker. If this
works... drag in the timeline, one at a time
and publish (save) in the .wmv format.
Then reimport the files for editing .wmv.

If still no success... you will need to convert the. VOB
format .wmv before import into movie files
    Machine to...

There are to many converters available on the net...

When you were importing files into Windows Movie Maker (WMM)...

1 have you seen to ensure it worked properly?

    2. don't you import music files separately from the photos and video files?

The point being: there are only a few audio formats that are supported by Windows Movie Maker.
Supported by WMM audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma

File format is represented by the letters lsat 3 of the audio file.

If your audio file format is not on the list above, you need to google for a FREE audio converter and change your audio file.
The recommended formats, you must use are: mp3, wma and wav... in that order.

  • Is there a way to Movie Maker to record a tutorial on screen?

Is there a program built into Windows 7 that will do it?

If not, does anyone have a recommendation?

I looked through the forums and have not found anything similar.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community forums.

I see from the description of the problem, you want to know if there is a program in Windows 7 that can record video the steps and the sound at the same time.

I will surely you help with this.

In Windows Movie Maker there is no option to record the sound and the steps. You can use the action recorder to automatically capture the steps you take on a computer.

But there is no audio recorder in the action recorder. You can add comments wherever you need to add a description.

Check out the link for more information.

Looking for a program that supports these features, you can use your favorite search engine.

Important: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.
