Movie menu, the audio duration

I finished my last DVD project and I have my menu selected film, I would like to extend my audio clip. However when I try to do it keeps returning to the setting 29; 29. so my question is - this I can change this duration?

Thank you

AZ Aurora

Good to know of your progress.

You cannot increase the 30 seconds a disc menu loop beyond this limit max.

You can change the point, nevertheless maximum 30 seconds loop.

  • See the Audio duration

    Hello all;

    From 2014 and more.

You know how when you play a song in a media player, and it shows the audio time line?

Well, that's what I need to learn how to do it.

I hope that a future release in edge animate, as well as other useful features.

However, it is not there yet.

I looked around to see if anyone came with something on that, however, I can't find anything.

Any idea will be certainly welcome.

  • Trouble seeing the audio duration

When I select an audio section on Adobe Audition, I'd like to see how long it lasts. I used to be able to see in an older version, but I can't find it now. Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    -Jason

Make sure you have the selection/open picture window. If it isn't then you can light it in menu of the window of the hearing. Also if the component is sized too small you will not be able to see all the information that can be displayed in this window.

  • Move Clips - and how not to lose the audio? Need help!

    Hello

I used Premiere Pro 6.0 widely enough over the years and have recently moved to first Pro CS5.

With Premiere Pro 6.0 I could move/drag clips on the timeline and their linked audio file would be to spend with them.  If I passed the video to a different video track, say, an existing clip, the audio would also move to a free audio trail entry and not automatically on any what audio existing.  This would allow me to rearrange the clips on the timeline simply by moving and using other video tracks as temporary storage location... easily and loses not or write on any other audio existing.

However in first Pro CS5 if I do the same thing, the video will move to the other video track I move, but the audio will remain in the audio track say and will write on any audio existing when the mouse button is released.  The only way to get around this, I do not see in the manual is to: (1) drag the video to the other track video, and (2) press the CHANGE of <>key, while that (3) dragging the audio linked to a different audio track to avoid audio existing to be written too.

My question: is there a configuration: I put in CS5 to allow moving / dragging clips to work as in Premiere Pro 6.0?  I already messed up several times in CS5 inadvertently overwrite audio existing.

Your expert advice and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Unfortunately this his how ist done now.

The workaround is indead now SHIFT and dragging.

There is no way to put it as he was at 6.0.

You'll get used to it over time, we all had.

  • Configuration of the audio channels in PP 2015.3 v10

    Hello

I noticed that the path of the Audio track has changed to the Configuration of the Audio channels in the settings of export of the latest PP. Unfortunately, this affects the way in which players such as QuickTime read the layout of the audio channel.

For example, I went out a DNxHD MOV video with 24 channels for a customer. I attributed to them in my PP of the project and am ready to the output file. The previous version of PP has allowed you to assign titles in the drop-down menu, the Audio track route which, in turn, allowed to see each audio channel / stem in the movie in QuickTime player Properties menu option.

Unfortunately, in the last version of 2015.3, my final file of DNxHD output has all channels play off the one audio track when opens in QuickTime player. However, I don't see all the audio stems when I reimport the DNxHD PP file so I think that this only affects the software outside Adobe.

I wouldn't mind not so much, but the customer would like to see the audio presentation in QuickTime player, so I'm a little confused as to what is wrong here with the last update PP.

Why this changed in the first place? Any help will be very appreciated!

    Concerning

    Tony

    System specifications:

    Premiere Pro 2015.3

Windows PC 10, 16 GB of RAM

So, I thought about it fortunately! So you have to choose Audio MONO Channel Configuration settings and then add as many channels as you need (for me it would be 24 mono tracks). As long as you properly assigned audio channels of your sequence, then the output file should be fine.

This seems a strange and unnecessary change for me - I don't know Adobe not have their reasons, but that would have saved me some valuable time if we have correctly explained in the update notes!

  • In Movie Maker, I want to place a photo on a part of a video without stopping the audio from the video.

It's all in Windows Movie Maker (Windows Vista)

    Example:

First of all, I want to have a video (with audio),
change photo (with audio video) and then continue to the same as before (with audio) video

I have a video with audio.
I want to put an image instead of the Visual part of the video.
But in doing so, I want to still the audio from the video to play while the image is on the screen.

Please help me, I need the answer as soon as possible.

    Hi benlach,

Welcome on the site of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.  I suggest you try these methods

    Method 1:

    1. drag a copy of the video on the audio / music.

    2. her completely to the left on the track.

    3. right click / Mute the Audio track... now the audio will be separated from the video but still play correctly.

    4. divide the video and to delete an article of the same duration as it turned again.

    Method 2:

1 divide your video clip on each side of the area where will be the stills.

    2. now... drag the part cut on the audio / music. BTW... If you want to add a second 5 again... Remove 5 seconds of the video clip. (Info below on the separation if you need)

    3. slide your shots yet to the time line and drop them to the location where you have removed the video.

    4. the Audio clip on the audio / music can be dragged to the right or left to adjust its position.

    Info on splitting...

"Split a Clip in Movie Maker 2.1"

    1. drag the video clip on the timeline.

    2. play the video/audio by clicking on the 'Play' button under the display screen.

    3. you will see the playback indicator (vertical line) to move forward on the scenario.

    4. click on the "Pause" button at the location where you want to cut and type... CTRL + L or click the "Split" button at the bottom of the display screen. (You can also make adjustments by dragging the playback indicator)

    5. as the many coves that you want and delete unwanted items by right click / Delete.

And... Movie Maker 2.1 shows that all of the other images. To see all the pictures of Movie Maker 2 shows you all-other-frame. While you are editing project, Movie Maker Vista displays each image. It is generally not a problem ignoring middle managers, but sometimes you notice a flickering image in a clip that is a "stray", and you can not see or cut it out. If you apply the Slow - Down - half video effect to a clip in the timeline panel, see you then each image rather than everyone. You can see the frame problem and separate out. Remove the effect of the clamp to return to normal.

Let me know if that does or does not work. Good luck!

    Hope it will be useful.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • 8. do not allow me to move the markers of the slide in the audio editing of slides in Captivate

Support - seems to work sometimes, but sometimes not. Today, not! I'm a software simulation. Then save auido to be distributed across multiple slides. But in the audio editor, says "you have reached the minimum display time" whenever I try to move the markers of slides! GRR! all solutions?

    Hello

In the case of the image you provided, the audio itself seems to be long of 2.5 seconds. So Captivate you cannot change the slide duration to be shorter 2,5 seconds, because the associated audio video needs this time to complete. The only way to make this shorter slide is to edit the audio clip, so his is shorter.

  • I can stream movies on my PC using the desktop PC monitor. But when I unplug the monitor and use a PC to TV HDMI cable I get the video but the audio now

    . Video streaming

I can stream movies on my PC using the desktop PC monitor. But when I unplug the monitor and use a PC to TV HDMI cable I get the video but the audio now... Suggestions?

Thanks for the file INF. I ck'ed for driver updates and I have the latest drivers installed.  I got the sound working on the TV by hanging the audio output of the PC to the entrance of the TV with the HDMI cable in place for video. It's the simplest solution to this problem, so I took it.

By the way, I have a Dell 620 with windows 7.

  • Windows media player; I have a mpeg file played ok before the download Flash Player to move to another place; but now the audio wont play even if the video is very good

I have a mpeg file played ok before the download Flash Player to move to another place; but now the audio wont play even if the video plays very well.  The mpeg file may was converted from another format mpeg before do me.

    Hello

    1. are you able to play the other mpegs successfully?
    2. what version of Windows Media Player do you use?

I suspect that the file is corrupted.

    Method 1.
Check if you can play the same video in a different media player.

    Method 2.
You may need to check if the codecs work very well to play the file. Check if you have installed third party codecs. Uninstall them and re - install and then check.

    I hope this helps.

  • 'Forward' to move to the next audio file button does not work with audio books.

    Hi all

My first problem I can't understand mine. I did a search through old messages using several key words and couldn't find it.

    -Sansa Fuze worm-1...

    -New firmware dated 12/27/09

    Mode - MSC

I buy the audio book CD and then extract them to MP3 so I can listen to on the "rocket". I put all the MP3 of the book in a directory, use Mp3tag to put in place a track number, title, author, and such then I drag the folder to the folder "audiobook" on the "rocket".

I start to play the first file, and most things work very well. The documents in the file and I cannot FF or REW in this file. When this file is complete, the "rocket" ahead to the next file of its own. Bookmarking works fine. When I try to use the 'next' button to move to the next file, however, nothing happens. If I try to use the 'back' button to go to the previous file, nothing happens. Very strange.

The button works fine when I'm listening to MP3 music. I can jump forward or backward through the tracks normally. It is the same with podcasts.

I don't normally jump before the audio book titles, but sometimes I'll do it if I lose interest in the book and hope to find something more interesting on a next track.

Thanks in advance for any help with this one.

    See you soon.

Generic audio books works a little bit differently from the Audible.  New audio book functionality, allowing any type of playable, always has the option of cool chapter mode, but it functiond otherwise than by playing an Audible book.

Sound files have chapter breaks that can be selected in the part of the main work.  "Regular" audio books have just chapter-titles.  Try to select the chapter mode; It affects to jump between tracks.

  • I am trying to load a MPEG file into windows Movie Maker 2013 and load only the audio part. What can be done to fix this

I have MPEG files that I'm editing and when I load in Movie Maker only the audio part load. During loading, I get the following message at the bottom of the screen for the audio to load but when that ends more nother is responsible and the screens indicate only the audio track.

Hello friend. I know that windows movie maker supports wmv video well, you can convert your videos to wmv mpeg video for a trial, it should work. If you don't know how to convert a video, this video converter will help you a lot.

  • My saved Windows Movie Maker Project open with video clips in the Audio editing panel and vice versa (NOT as it was created). Can I move them back where they belong?

After days of the creation of a filmmaker 'project' I 'saved project' one last time, then reopen and publish a movie.  All my video Clips (phtotos) now appear in the Audio editing / music along the bottom with only a video clip standing in line of the video of this 'slide show' of 90 minutes.  Is it possible to move these clips to which they belong without having to recreate the whole project?

What happens if you try to read the project in Movie Maker?

Looks like your project .mswmm file is corrupt (starting
Perhaps more than the best approach). The project can be as far
too big and too complex to publish (save) with success as a
    video file.

I suggest that you create several small projects
and publish (save), each of them in the. WMV video format
and then re-import the collection. To combine WMV files
    in a single movie.

You can also import collection. Clips WMV to DVD
Manufacturer and each clip, would have become a scene (chapter)
    on the DVD.

The following article is maybe worth a visit:

Movie Maker - how to divide a project complex smaller?
    http://www.myvideoproblems.com/tutorials/MovieMaker/SplitComplexProject.htm

  • On windows movie maker, it's only allowing me to import some audio, but not the audio I need.

When I select the audio I want he says "for example. MP3 could not be imported. »

If you convert the MP3 to WMA format before
import into Movie Maker, you can get a better
    result.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
    Audio - wav, wma, wmv
