• LabVIEW 2009 SP1 crashes when moving large selection with the arrow key

  If I select a lot (10 or 15) diagram components and try to move some distance with the arrow button, I'm often a program crash.  Because a reduced number of components seems to hang after a longer distance traveled, it looks like some sort of buffer overflow error.  I don't see this problem when you use the mouse to move selections.

  I checked to make sure I have the latest version of the video driver for my NVIDIA Quatro FX570.  I also tried to work with no hardware acceleration and no handset, written.  What happens on Windows XP SP3 with all current updates.

  It became so bad that I have to do a save as every fifteen minutes to avoid losing data.

  Why not use my mouse for all movements?  Because it is not as specific and not so easy to limit to only one dimension of the movement.   My hand is not as stable as it once was.

  I'm hoping someone will have a suggestion that will clear up this problem.

  As I have indicated, I had the same problem with 8.5 and just DID a new install of Labview 2009.

  Since it is possible that my three monitors configuration, which of course requires more memory video, may be at the origin of the problem, I am satisfied with workaround by dragging the objects closer to their final destination and then using the arrow keys.

  Three monitors are ideal for the front, block and help/Internet/probe damaged.  When I got to work in the field with a single monitor, I felt severely handicapped.

  Try turning off hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

  I googled the question of fun and learned you can hit CTRL + Alt + an arrow key to change the direction of the display on the monitor.  Pressing on the same new keys cancels the function.  I must have accidentally done to create the mess in the first place.

  I've done the same thing if I had rebooted the system.

• Fine enough culture shots using the arrow keys LR3 - no box!

  I just upgraded from LR 1.3 and I am used to using the arrow keys to make movements very well to a picture in the window of cultures that I would struggle to do exactly with a mouse, which is only a few pixels. However, LR 3.2 movements made by the arrows in the window of culture seem to be HUGE in comparison. Maybe the number of pixels increased was because everyone is shooting at 18Mp instead of my humble 8, but it is anyway that it could be fixed?

  Perhaps there is a modifier key for fine adjustment, of that I'm not aware? Movements [MAJ] Although a 50% crop to mid-way through the image and the [CTRL] reveals the angle adjust makes and the cursor icon arrows change the image.

  Suggestions anyone? (If you suggest a higher resolution camera, please send a cheque more!). Thank you.

  I hope someone can help. I am new to Flash CS4 - yet to learn - and that must have left me speechless for days! Deadline is always the same...

  I'm redrawing a powerpoint presentation that contains a lot of graphics etc (total 29 slides) and I want to animate it in Flash. I developed everything in Illustrator and I am now at the stage of do this everywhere Flash.

  Once I have everything Flash and animation, what I want to do is let the presenter (my client) to control playback using the arrow keys (aka powerpoint). My intention is to have labels for the various steps in the graph where the animation stops (using stop();) and then when the presenter press the right arrow key presentation will continue to play. I also need the left arrow key to return to the previous where label they advance too far or they must go back to look at something.

  Also, I was wondering what best practice would be creating something like this. Should I create separate Flash files for each 'slide' and load (really do not know how to do this) or use separate video clips for each slide in a single Flash file? My lack of knowledge leaves me wanting to build along the timeline of a, but I guess it would get too complicated...

  My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but after a search both the Adobe and the web site, I can't find an appropriate solution.

  I have an MC which can be moved with the arrow keys. When a person presses the left button I want the object to face left and do an animation for as long as you press the left key.   I am currently using first 13 items on my desktop Windows 10. When I use the special effects of culture, I am able to precisely position the top, down, left and right limiters by typing in a decimal percentages.   With the clip selected on your calendar, click effects applied on the right side of the interface.

  Found the answer in another thread. Somehow my keyboard Increments area was changed to a small extent (. 00002 ") that I could not see the object move, nor does the X & coordinated change. I didn't change this preference to. 00002 ", but it is now fixed.

  Find your tree WHEN-TREE-NODE-SELECTED-trigger, I guess that there is a logic that is causing your problem.

  Press the F7 key (or fn+F7 on a laptop) to turn off the keyboard navigation (it is disabled by default, but you can have it turned on by mistake).
