  I have a laptop that I put in place two hardware profiles for the specifications below.  One is anchored (work) and the other is in stand-alone mode (home).  I put my deskstop settings monitor extended with the laptop as main display when it is docked and the external monitor to the main when undocked view, switch off and moving between the dock and undocked States, my monitor preferences resume their single monitor with the main display as the LCD screen of the laptop.

  I would like to know if there is a way, either with a batch file, script VBS,... to set these parameters to display by running of the said script.  The video card is an Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics card.  Sorry, I don't have the info exact chipset.  I have set up 2 separate profiles in the application for the video card utility but only makes the manual setting of my display preferences, it does not automatically value them when moving between States anchored and released.

  Any information is greatly appreciated.

• BlackBerry Smartphones calendar time change when moving between time zones

  I travel between mountain and Central time zones. When I get the appointment I specify the time zone that the appointment should occur. When I go back to the other time zone and change the time of BB to the correct area, all appointments move ahead or back one hour. Is there some sort to have well positioned BB time and appointments to stay at the right time without moving forward or backward and time?

  It's normal.  When you change the time zone on the device calendar entries will change, too.  If you set a date on the calendar for the hour 17:00 and you change time zones in Central time that entry calendar will increase to 18:00 18:00 central is 17:00 mountain.  The calendar shows always real-time.

• Catalogues moved between the drives in the library.

  I have all my photos on external hard drives, that I imported by Lightroom. Until that currently when I pluged them they wher on-site.

  Suddenly something happened and the swiched of files between hard drives in the library and so are absent with question mark.

  Drive E contains the folders of the drive F and F contains records of drive E, that is not the reality. Files are in place, but Lightroom is a gap between them, and they are not accessible.

  It happened in the past and I managed to be it resolved by restoring the computer to a time before the event.

  now I have new computer with Windows 10. I transferred the catalogs successfully, but it happened again. The new Board of Windows, it is difficult to find how to restore to a date frewious at the time. When I found it, it does not give a date prior to the event.

  I don't know why this is happening and what it runs.

• VApps moving between OrgVDCs - lose VAPP network/firewall settings

  I move between 2 OrgVDCs (vCloud Director 5.1) vApps. The two CDV have the same pool of network VAPP and assigned provider, but when the VAPP moves (or to be more precise, when it clones), it does not have the original network settings.

  This is why I have to go manually in the vApp and select "External supplier" as my connection - when I go to "Set up Services" my firewall rules is clear. Does anyone know how to remedy this? Ideally, I'd like the entire configuration VAPP be moved/cloned in my new VDC - I tried both via the interface user and rest

• Storage vMotion issue License - license of moving between ESX Hosts 4.1?

  I have a question about Storage vMotion with ESX 4.1 license.

  One of my environments ESX 3.5 existing consists of 10 ESX 3.5 hosts - 8 ESX 3.5 servers Standard and 2 ESX 3.5 Enterprise servers.  I use a centralized license server (I think that's the correct term).

  I found that I can "move" the vMotion (and vMotion) Storage capacity of two of my 10 servers that only two of them are enabled for vMotion, both.  I do this by topic under VI Client-> select the host ESX-> Configuration-> network-> properties-> VMkernel-> Edit-> toggle the box "VMotion" activated-> OK.   I guess that by doing this, that I'm actually just spend my licenses 'ESX Enterprise' between the hosts.

  Be able to run Storage vMotion on one or two guests at a time is a lot for a few times a year I need to reconfigure my back-end storage.

  Two Questions:

  1. this use is technically legal in a perspective of VMware licenses?

  2. now, I'm looking to upgrade to ESX 4.1 and wonder if I'll be able to keep doing this?  I have read that ESX 4.x got rid of the centralized server license model, so not sure if I could 'move' licenses around like that... In fact since vMotion is now included in Standard Edition, I guess I could 'pull out' through a license only one ESX Enterprise server in order to obtain the license of storage vMotion.

  I let my support/subscription lapse for as long it is cheaper to purchase new licenses rather than paying for support costs with retroactive effect on my existing licenses.   The price difference between Standard and Enterprise is large (3 times the cost) that I don't think I can swing is business licenses for all of my guests past the bean counters, where the reason for this post.

  Each host has a license key number. You can apply a new license key to a host, and it is immediately activated. I guess you would be technically violate licensing for seconds as a license number was recorded at two hosts. There is a place in the vSphere client to "assign a new license key to this host. When a license key has been assigned, it remains as a choice, then you can simply choose the functionality licensed one and below the other.

  2 joins are possible between two folders
  fact_table.code_combination_id-> lookup_table1.code_combination_id
  fact_table.accrual_code_combination_id-> lookup_table1.code_combination_id
  
  When I try to create a new workbook and include the fields of the fact table, and then include the fields of the table of correspondence he asks me to choose the join.
  
  If I then want to add fields based on the second join, it do not ask me what join to use in the future. He seems to assume that the first join is always between two records for the report. I know that I can create another folder using the same table and move one of the existing joints of the current folder to the new folder. Am I missing something or is this the only way to go?

  Interesting question. This is how we solved in my last job.

  Created files:

  Fact table: AR's

  Search folder: combination of Code search
  Search folder: search for combination of Code of accumulation

  Then join AR made in each search folder. Generally, point the search folder on the AR folder in creating joins. Discoverer, prefer this direction. As a combination of additional code types are referenced, add additional code combination files. All of these files come from the same table. The only thing that is different is the column joined actually AR.

  So, in the end, your knuckles would be:
  Code combination Lookup.code_combination_id-> AR Fact.code_combination_id
  Accrual Code combination Lookup.code_combination_id-> AR Fact.accrual_code_combination_id

• Moving between airports not working not

  I have 2 Airport extreme on my property and an express. If I'm on Hangouts on my phone (or a wifi call) and walk to the House before backward, it usually falls on the call.

  Here are my assumptions as to why this is happening:

  before home is the oldest MONKEY is not a tower, so I said a connection n drift backward, he won't fall from n to AC.

  It is to the wireless device to determine which signal from the arrival airport to use and then automatically "switch" as the location of the device changes.

  Unfortunately, most of the phones, iPad, other devices, computers laptop PC, etc won't do that, but computers laptops Mac will generally be a good job of it.

  Sorry, nothing that you can do other than to temporarily cut off the WiFi when the wireless device changes the location and then go back on so this device can then pick up the strongest signal from the nearest airport.

• How to stop firefox launches a second browser while moving between tabs.

  I almost always have several tabs open in firefox and intermittently when I return to a window with tabs rather than open this window in my browser current firefox will launch a new (second) browser and open my old tab here - closing the tab in the first browser.
  I move between the tabs by clicking the tab and most of the time it will open the tab, but exactly the same thing intermittently will launch this second browser.
  All other functions with firefox work normally

• moving between the programs on the desktop

  with Windows 7, I could drag and drop between programs and with Windows 8, I can't do that.  What is the solution?  In addition, if I want to switch from any program to internet explore I must minimize all programs, then customer on explore.  How to correct these problems.  I don't have a touch screen.

  • Press Alt + Tab to switch between the different windows and office.
  • Windows key + Tab to display a sidebar with a little preview of all open applications.

  But when I browse the records on the page, other areas will be update correctly, except for the field of the image - the image field showing will not refresh.

  Well, you also updated your nulls to the actual URL so maybe posing (in combination with the caching of the browser)?

  General approach to prevent caching of web resources is the addition of random string to the url of the resource (as suggested by Cvele) or you can write custom servlet which will serve as a proxy and add http headers (non-cache, non-store, must-revalidate expires,...) to prevent caching.

  Anyway, now I have to get rid of the question above. However, a new problem emerges:

  When I update and validation records the attributes of the database. the fields in the jsf page will not display the newly modified database records even if I refreshed the browser or press F5.

  Only after that I open the jsf page in a new browser window, database changes will appear.

  -Is caused by the caching of the browser? and how to fix it?

  How you exactly "update and validation" records (in the same application or a different app/session)?

  If you do this session or different application then you must run query VO again.

  I have a Scriptable who suppose to migrate virtual machines (datastore and host) to another cluster. When I test it within the cluster, everything works perfectly. But when I'm trying to move a VM between clusters, I get:

  I can manually move the virtual machine via vSphere Web Client without problem.

  Since the update to version 2015.009.20069 of Acrobat Pro DC on Mac Pro (end of 2013), I am unable to use any keyboard shortcut to navigate between open documents. Before the most recent update to Acrobat Pro DC, it was possible to navigate between documents open by using the keyboard shortcut. So, what has changed with the keyboard shortcut?

  Hi Paul,.

  Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you want to open several documents (e.g. 3) in acrobat and then switch between them (i.e. the document 1 document 2 and so on).

  Since version 2015.009.20069, several documents are open as tabs instead of Windows of Acrobat.

  You can use Ctrl + Tab to switch to the next tab and Ctrl + Shift + Tab to switch to the previous tab.
