  When I'm in the paint all my settings are the same that I use always and my image appears normal size on the screen but when I go to print I put it on the scale to fit on page 1 x 1 (so it's all about a piece of paper), but then I have print preview and the image is just a 1-inch picture in the upper left corner. I had done several times in the past and never had a problem. Why does the image offset? Also when I remove the scale down to 1 x 1 page it can tile the image on 4 pages. So if the image is the great whys it shrinks it do much when I as a single piece of paper? Help!

  Go to the options of paint by clicking on the top left of the menu bar icon (the one to the left of the 'Home' that looks like a sheet of paper lined w / an arrow next to it).  Choose 'Properties' from the menu drop down.  Keys to your measurements of paper (ie. 8.5 x 11 "or 8.5" x 14) depending on the direction you have chosen - portrait or landscape (under print options: Page layout) which should solve your printing problem.  Unfortunately, the program seems to use some default preset every time that you open the Paint program.  That's how I came across your question;  I'm trying to find how to change the default setting. During this time, I guess that we just have to continue to change it before printing.

• Problem moving loaded external image

  I am new to AS3 and I'm having a problem moving an external image loaded into a class. I don't know how to move the loaded external image.  I thought about creating a Sprite and then passing an extra child Sprite, which I would then load the image.  But I get this error:

  I can honestly say that I don't know why the problem exists... and that's probably because I'm not well versed in the field of the class.  But since you have a handle on the spHolder object, you do not need to target through the parent...

• Lightroom moved to 25000 images - can I put them back?

  OK, I'm new to LR, just familiarize themselves, used to manage a folder of photos and everything seemed fine, so I said import this top-level folder which had 25,000 images carefully arranged in several subfolders - per trip per theme, etc.

  Apparently I clicked on the wrong bloody God button and LR did a 'move' instead of a 'add' - and he has created a new series of records for the years photos have been taken and moved them all.

  All my years of carefully organized folders are still there, but EMPTY. And every image I created in, say, 2010, for any question or subject, is now in the "2010" folder

  Please, please tell me there is a way to CANCEL this?

• I moved all my images on an external drive folder and deleted everything

  I moved all my folder of images to a disk all deleted and external turned off my HD.

  How can I me Lr to find the new location?  On the new external, it is in a folder named -images which also includes iPhoto and photo booth files.

  What version of Pages and what version of Mac OS X are you using?

  I am running OS X El Capitan 10.11.1.

  When I open a Pages ' 09 in Pages ' 09 model, I can't select, edit, or move a background image.

  Context commands are grayed out:

  

  I can open it, but that makes no difference.

  And here is the Menu Format > advanced:

  

  Tested in Pages ' 09 with model selector > layout > Certificates > student certificate.

  However, if I save the document and open it in Pages 5.6.1

  

  And I can select and move a background image

  

  and resize

  

  and rotate, delete, just like the good old days in Pages ' 09.

  I suspect that the Pages ' 09 slowly loses features with each update to OS X.

  Maybe someone will call and tell me what I am doing wrong in Pages ' 09 under OS X El Capitan.

  Once I selected a part of an image, I try to use the move (with the ALT key) tool to copy the selection into another image.  But the movements of the whole picture and not only the selection.  What I am doing wrong?

  In fact, I found this one - move the selection into a new layer, then copy.

  Well, the ever obvious answer is that you just dumped all right on the page and since that uses the root page (= browser window) as a reference, it will move around with the slightest variation that does not match your mode of creation. You need to structure your work with groups and layers of nesting and formatting rules by adjusting accordingly. Elements must always be compared to others, especially things like the text that should be inside a box or a photo below.

• White Balance selector disappears when moved across the image

  Hello

  I use LR 4.4 on an iMac.

  Does anyone know why the White Balance Selector tool would disappear when crossed an image?

  It seems to set up a vertical line with an arrow up and down.

  The areas of the image where it disappears appear to be compliant, in other words, it disappears on the same portion of the image eveytime.

  UPDATE: since posting the foregoing, a few minutes ago I noticed that my cursor behaves eractically. For example, on a different image from the one used previously, in the library using the Magnifier module the cursor changes a magnifying glass with an arrow pointing to the right.  It does this on the same part of the image each time.

  Weird cursor issues are a FEATURE of the APPLE operating system.

  There are complaints on the Web site of the system APPLE os since 2005.

  The last time I checked there are 30 pages of discussions about this on apple's site

  I don't think that APPLE has an idea on how to solve this problem. We see in many applications, most photoshop, lightroom, textedit, exxcel and other.

  Pray that something happens soon to be released 10.8.4.

• Unwanted moving text and images

  I have problems of text flow. I have a document that has a sidebar with text and images. I'm now put the main body of the text and, if on the page on the right side I add more than one column of text, side bars (which are on their own layer and locked) all move them to another page. Suggestions to prevent this? I use cs4.

  Has the number of pages changed? It looks like for me smart text reflow...

  We produce dozens of school yearbooks and we seek to simplify the process. part in particular produced pictures of the school Yearbook. I'm working on a solution that is to use this script by Loïc Aigon to create quickly a datamerge from a folder of photos:

  use datamerge to merge multiple records, this makes it all pretty slick until the photos come in. photos need the head and shoulders of the student, but the photos that are often provided were more than that. It would be nice to have a script that would allow images in the frames of move/size available in a dialog box options.

  but it must be a dialog box that has options for manipulating the offset/scale. the script would be used by designers with no experience of script, so asking them to go into Notepad and set shifts etc. in that merge.

• Hi, I just downloaded the latest version of Illustrator and I'm having a problem with cutting lines, which fill when the line moved, also extra, which disappeared when the line is moved. Import images also have this problem.

  

  No thanks, that's the Cmd + E (Mac) or Ctrl + E (Win), but not both.

  I have my images from source on an external drive, but when I copied (not moved) these source images to a second hard drive for backup (via the Finder), Lightroom would not indicate the player or images. How can I get Lightroom to recognize this drive / these images?

  Greetings.

  You first have to import at least one file of this external drive, so that the reader appears in the records of Lightroom.

  Also, make sure that you have read and write on this external drive access.
