  Greetings

  I have an image that has about 24 layers, many of them are text.  When you try to move the images and text on the same layer yesterday, I ran into problems, but finally fixed by moving these elements from the bottom layer, using Ctrl\Move.

  It worked well so I thought I'd show my fellow learners at our regular session of Friday on 11 items to SeniorNet.  However when I went to show them I could move easily and freely on the background layer - without using Ctrl, just the move tool.  Elements simply very quickly leave the background layer for the relevant layer with the image or the text (as before?).

  Does not include why I couldn't do that in the first place at home, but I had a lot of testing there.  What circumstances might have been different?

• No video just audio when you place them on my time line

  I've been editing with adobe pro CC for awhile first and only today, after upgrading my CC from 9.0 to 10 I had a problem where I have the audio when you put video clips on my time line. For some reason any its not bringing don't not the full file in. I played video clips on another program and they work and its fine and when you drag them in the first pro library, they have the preview and I am able to do scroll the video ok it's just when you place on the time line its not bringing don't not the video with her.

  In looking at some of the clips in the project Panel, they are not showing the icon that indicates there is an audio file on the clip.

  On this line at the top of the page, the miniature of a clip from gopro, central element has no icon in the lower right corner. This is just the video as much as PrPro can see.

  The good article, the tile with two icons below on the right... these icons are first that it is used on a sequence (hovering above him and he'll even tell you how much time it is used) and the second icon, it's that it has linked audio.

  So... is not audio clips, or the way in which it has been imported to the PrPro is not 'see' the audio file linked... or the database/cache is screwed upward. I think that these are the three main options.

  So... using MediaInfo to "see what is inside your media" or play them elsewhere, did sound?

  If so, how do import you them into PrPro?

  Can you make a new project, import the clips and have his "appear" with the clip?

  Diagnostic steps:

  (1) create 2 or more folders in the bookmarks with the individual sites in their breast.  (Examples of folder name: career, finances and health)

  (2) safari > display > display favorite bar. All the Favorites should be visible in the main window of Safari with all these files

  3) click on the folder named career and then go directly to Finance. (the record finance should open with a single click)

  (4) or try to open the folder of health directly after clicking on career record. The health record is expected to open in one click. This does not currently happen

  Currently, 2 click are required to open a folder in the Favorites bar. To activate the button and the second displays the Web sites it contains.

  It is annoying and seems as if the browser is obsolete.

  If opening cursor hover is not what apple wants for these records, we are fine with it. But the least we should do, it's that these files opens in one click.

• Turning vector file transparent when you place in ps

  Hello

  hope someone can help me. I have a vector image I try to place a PS document. For some reason any, as soon as I click to accept the placement, the vector image becomes transparent.

  (Fortunately) happens only with that particular file so I guess there must some setting in Illustrator that I'm not aware of. I bought the file from a stock image site. (unfortunately I'm not smart enough to create my own lol).

  Any ideas?

  This tends to occur when using mixtures.

  When you place blends in Photoshop, it is caused by anti-aliasing.

  What happens if you export as a raster in Illustrator with anti-aliasing set to the option art-optimized?

• When you place an image in InDesign, it seems pixelated.  It is a 66 MB file in a 6 x 9 "paper.

  This is an expected behavior, when you place an image in InDesign, then it displays a preview of the image but you has no impact of the exit, unless the image is of low resolution itself.

  In order to have the correct resolution of images, you can switch to view > display performance > high quality.

  Seems that you can call to the properties of an imported file may include the ClippingPathSetting preferences. It is the object of great CS5 Jongware model.

  

• Difference between CS3 and CS4 when you place images, unguarded percentage

  There is something of a difference between CS3 and CS4 when you place images. The images I'm dealing with right now were vector images, but it could apply to all sorts of images.

  When you replace an existing image, the behavior of CS4 is to leave the image full frame. In CS3, the percentage was set at 100% as default (% see you when selecting the image, not the container).

  Also when you replace an impage in CS4, the 'internal' picture frame is maintained, while in the C3, the percentage was limited.

  Y at - it sort of investment preferences / settings leave CS4 same wat like CS3 did, when you place an image?

  If reliinking keeps the scale or dimensions is now a part of preference in CS4, if that helps.

  You can play with this setting and do a few manual rebinding to see if something is appropriate. I'm not a script, but I think you can reset this preference as part of a script.

• My image is resized when I place it in another empty file

  Hey everyone, I created food item cards in photoshop elements 6 by opening a file empty and it size 4 x 2.  I added a border inside pixels.25 and adding text and a picture.  I made cards separate for each item. So to print, I did a 8.5 x 11 white canvas and added my cards so that I could print more than one.  When she printed they resize to 5 x 3.  If I simply printed on an 8.5 x 11 paper he printed in the right size.

  The ppi of the lower layer of resolution determines the resolution for everything in the picture. So if what you put in this image, it is at a different resolution, it is resized when you paste. If your pasted object is 72 dpi, for example, it will become crushed up to 300 dpi, so smaller. If the pasted object has a resolution higher than the lower layer, it will become larger than it was before pasting.

  It's easier to make sure that everything happens in the image has the same DPI before (image > resize > image size), or you can use the file > Place, which makes your hardware pasted a dynamic object which is resizable without loss of quality, but who needs simplified (and therefore loses resolution independence) until you can do big thing to her.

• Dialog import image when you place images

  All of a sudden I have this annoying dialog box when I place images in the ID of the CP (options import Image). I went through my prefs, but there is no obvious place to turn off this feature? This is one of those ugly surprises expected whenever Adobe puts a so-called upgrade. I'm tired little of it. Why Adobe - WHY?

  When you choose file > Place to select the file, the Import Options checkbox appears at the bottom.

  When you see the file, double click on it: instead, click once the file you want, and then uncheck the Import Options, and then click OK. As Steve says, this box is in a sticky State. Once you get is off, you can go back by double clicking on the name of the file.

  Just went to place a word doc and I noticed most were import options. Even for images too.

  Hold the SHIFT key when you select your file to be imported.

  Inches don't mean anything inside of Photoshop, it's just a setting for printing.

  All that matters is pixels. If you created a document in 12 x 12 inches, you also need to set a resolution (72 dpi?). Several of these numbers to get your pixel dimensions.

  The file you place then check it's pixel dimensions, you will find that the document can be also 12 x 12 inches, but in a radically different resolution (600 dpi?), which means that it contains fewer pixels, so does not meet in the same space.

  We have an educational application with plenty of interactive exercises - which were originally designed in Flash.

  I have converted in HTML using Wallaby fla files. For each fla file, Wallaby creates a js, css and html file but also an active file.

  When I place the frame Web Content, and then link it to the html file, it link to the real HTML created Wallaby? It wont let me select the folder containing all the files in that, and I can't link to a zip file either... Then, how it recognizes assets if I select only the html file? (see screenshot)

  

  Or do I need to add a HTMLResources file and bind it to who?

  You a link to the HTML file but make sure that these things are in their own folder or InDesign will add EVERYTHING in the folder that has the HTML in there.
