MP - BGP import map Mulfunction

Hi guys

Another day, another weird happening. Here it goes:

Background:

In our network, we have separated the different types of traffic using the VRF. We have so many VRF which increased throughout the network. The point of connection between the VRF is MP - BGP. In other words, we have independent MP - BGP (MP - BGP without any nearby statement) configured on select routers that would be subject to the import and export of the routes in the different VRF. There are 'card import' and 'export card"configured under configurations VRF to restrict the prefixes we want to transfer between the VRF.

Problem:

Today, I wanted to update a list of prefixes for a card to import on the entire network. I needed this change on both routers. When I added the new permit prefixes in the list of prefixes for the import map, one of the routers reflects changes correctly by redistributing the roads while the other does not. Not the answering router is a Cisco 6509 with IOS image 12.2 (33) SXH3 IP services. The router works is a service of Advanced IP Cisco 7609 with IOS 12.2 image (33) SRC1. To simplify configuration, you can view the process as below:

Map source VRF---> MP - BGP---> import---> Destination VRF

Troubleshooting done so far:

I spent a good part of my day looking at this matter. I checked that:

  1. two routers have the new prefixes in the source VRF
  2. There is no limitation in MP - BGP for the source VRF export
  3. I see that the prefixes in the source VRF BGP table
  4. There is no fault striking in terms of wrong type the name of the prefix-list route-map or import plan since we have another pair of these routers and the same situation going on there. The 6509 do not redistribute while not in the 7609.
  5. Only the router 7609 would eventually import the new prefixes in the destination VRF according to the changes made in terms of the import.

Weird or what?

Here's what I think the problem is: the card-import on the 6509 will not refresh automatically. Here's how I came to this conclusion:

  1. Early on I did a 'ip-prefix clear list' on both routers to set the numbers of statements access 0
  2. I added the new prefixes in the list of prefixes on both routers
  3. I did a 'Show the details of the ip prefix-list' command on the two routers
  4. I found that the hit counts for all the States in the list of prefixes of the 7609 were recalculated (including the number of newly added States access)
  5. This shows that when you add or remove a declaration of the prefix list, the 7609 courtesy of the updating of the import map
  6. Shockingly the stroke counts on the statements in the list of prefixes on the 6509 had all set to 0 (resulting from the ciommand 'clear' issued earlier)
  7. This shows that the import-map has not been updated
  8. This problem manifested itself in other ways as well although I won't get in but they are all indicating that the import-map isn't updating when statements are added or removed from the partner-listI prefix

Now I know that many of you might suggest to remove the import map and add it again however, the production and make that change is not going to happen soon, so I would be grateful if any of you guys has other thoughts on this. This could very well be a bug that we continue to discuss with Cisco.

Thank you

Hello Babak,

first of all, I want to thank you for the clear and complete description of your problem.

Your results might suggest that an alternative implementation of BGP MP regarding BGP MP feature import map is in two IOS 12.2 SXH different trains (33) and 12.2 (33) SRC.

This could be the case.

I tried to look at the toolkit bug for 12.2 (33) SXH3 with the search key "import map" and there are some bugs listed, but none is an exact match of your scenario.

This one

CSCts25780

card IP vrf import problem
Symptom:
change 'ip cpmmunity-list' does not inform the route-map and directions are therefore not
re-evaluated whenever the road map is used. Conditionsof :
route map should be "community game" configuredWorkaround:
change the path map directly

Is related to the refresh missing roads when a Community list of ip is changed (called in the road used in the import map map).

It is therefore closer what I see.

I'd say it's almost the same question an object used for correspondence in the road map has been changed and the road map is not reassessed.

In your case is that a prefix ip-list in the description of the bug is a Community list.

Best regards

Giuseppe

  • PI 1.4 import maps IP 2.0?

I know that a restoration of 1.4-> 2.0 database is not supported. However, if we export 1.4 XML mappings, can those imported in 2.0? I could not find any documentation on it. (We note some odd results, and PI 2.0 has been turning it is "Please wait" icon for a day now, as a result of the attempt to import).

This is the best way... cards the export and import maps.  You just need to make sure that the WLC is added to the PI 2.0 first.

You try to insert new records or update existing ones. I think you'll find that it works in the same way that import online a file of type ledgerlink so will insert only. It should do as I have tested previously on an old V9 test application.

So if you are looking to be updated, you must first remove the card and then re - load the new table of the entire map or, if you want to update, but also insert then you use SQL statements and this also lets you write your own journal of auditing thus, changes are recorded as they are with changes online.

  • computer crashing on long import map

Sorry, I know I have seen this answered before but this could not be found on a search I have I apologize.  Still works with FCP 7 and I'm trying to import a very long clip. Probably close to a long time: 45 captured in AVCHD on card scandisk.  Shorter clips are, of course, very well, but the computer hangs on the long clip so I copied the files to my desktop, thinking the card couldn't handle the transfer of the long clip.  Now for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the log and transfer to talk to the desktop instead of the card reader.  I've done this before.  I know that I have.  I think so.  I'm pretty it will solve the problem of import long clip.  Help please.

    Thank you very much.

AHA, thought about it.  Files just need to be in a folder and not to sit naked on the desktop so that the FCP could see him.  Duh.  Thanks anyway.

With the help of windows 7 - never had no problems so far. Even card that I use every week. Otherwise, everything works fine?

    Hi Griffo,

Please make sure that you use the latest version of Lightroom CC 2015.4

Also, disconnect all other external devices like phone, tablet of your card and try again.

Try to use another card if possible and see if it works.

  • Why can't I import a map file?

I have 10 Robohelp and when I click on file > import, the choice of the mapping file is gray.

    Hello

This is probably because you do not have to receive focus in the proper area of the application.

For example, if you focus on the topics of the project manager pod section, the option for the mapping file is disabled (or gray).

But if you open the pod of project implementation and give focus to the region a help popup, you should then be able to import mapping files.

  • How to import the hspice netlist?

I'm starting to learn how to import maps hspice. I want to understand what is the difference between Hspice and AWR for RF circuits and devices, I have a question on how to import maps. I followed the instructions to import an existing hspice file. but it does not work. I could not simulate. The status window displays syntax error on line 6 that gives me the warning below. But I can simulate it by using Hpsice. There is no problem at all. So I'm so confused.

Can someone tell me what I need to do? Thank you very much in advance.

    Hello

You cannot import raw Hspice netlist.  Many lines of these files are files of control for the execution of the simulation.   What you need to do is to put the part of the circuit of the netlist in one. SUBCKT command you can see in the example of "Exposing_and_Tuning_HSPICE_netlist_model_parameters.emp."  You will not be able to simulate due to licensing, but you can see the structure that must be the netlist.  Then you instantiate this netlist in a schematic representation and add sources, you can analyze the circuit.

    I hope that you get.

  • WCS - maps

    Hello world

I don't know that if after that, but how do we know what kind of cards do we need to import. We have a campus with 4 buildings on it. Wireless access are in all buildings. Do I need to get the plans on the ground / floor plans in electronic format that can be added to the WCS. If Yes, what scale is recommended and google map can help with this?

    Kind regards

    Mark

    Hello

I found that import maps in PNG format format offers the best defintiaion in WCS. If you have your electronic drawings in DWG or similar format, playing with make an Impr. screen and the applicant in Powerpoint and to act as 'Save as image' and save it as a PNG.

As soon as the mpa is in this format, I import in WCS to open Google Earth (the product of good stand alone) and go to the toolbar at the top of the screen and use the measure tool here.

I find the building I would like on our campus, zoom, turn it so that it matches my drawing and then use the measure tool to measure the outside walls in metres.

Seems to work fine for me

I managed to import a domain by using the wizard over 12 months, there is using a server on the domain controller. The question is when the import mapping write definitions SQL is executed. The process fails with

We have entries in the local hosts file for the SQL Server name, the NetBIOS and FQDN name. And given that the labour service query Fortunately this isn't a Firewall routing problem. Is there anyway that we can connect what's happening. I can see netstat - n tcp time_wait connections a PEI so he opened a connection.

  • Import Lightroom 6 problem

HI - 6 Lightroom has suddenly stopped being able to import maps. I get a message saying roughly "could not copy files because they could not be read". The files are not corrupted; I am able to copy on the Mac and then get Lightroom to synchronize the catalog, but it is a slow and unsatisfactory workaround. I use LR 6.6 and OS 10.9.5. I use a card reader that works OK. Can anyone help? I have reset the preferences of LR, but it made no difference.

    Thank you

    Alex

This error is misleading. What this really means is the location of destination doesn't have permission to write to your username. Either change the permissions of reading & writing on this file to include your user name or select another folder which has permissions to read & write for your username.

  • IMPORT: CARDS ARE MOST READ

I have been using LR CC successfully for some time, import of card readers and camera (Canon 1Dx and Fuji E-2 X) live. I checked the CC and I saw that I have the latest version. I am importing successfully a week or two ago.  I didn't realize some other updates.  I tried yesterday to import maps that were in my two cameras.

When I try to import raw and Jpeg (or both) in Lightroom Import dialog comes up and I press the button import (with visible images with graduations on the screen of LR).  I support on IMPORT and then they disappear and I said 'there are no images in active import' and a small window will open saying that the cards can be read.  I checked and this is not a card problem.

What can I do? It is URGENT because I provide images with a VERY tight. I pay monthly forLightroom and it's pretty notgood and will cause me real damage.

    I use a Mac with OS X Version 10.11.4

Can you help me - please?

It is more than probably from a file permissions issue. The folder you have selected as is not the Destination, the images will be copied upon import to write permissions for your user name.

Change the permissions on this file or select a different folder than your username has two writing permissions &.

  • How update the content id when importing via archiver

    Hello Experts,

I need to migrate some documents one env to another (about 500).

The problem is all content IDS are duplicated between the content source and target servers.

even if they have the same ID of content that they are not duplicate/revisions of the existing element.

I'm looking for a way to add them to the system as a new item.

Is it possible using what content ID can be re-created in the target Content Server when I import them.

I thought to use the cards to import == > map of value, but the update of 500 entries manually is a huge task.

One of the alternatives that comes to mind is programmtically export update archive.hda, with

    Clauses like "0:IPM_000878:dDocName:IPM_000878_MG, 0:IPM_000888:dDocName:IPM_000888_MG, 0:IPM_001217:dDocName:IPM_001217_MG.

Please let us know of your entries.

Thanks in advance for your support.

    see you soon,

    Patricia

In your example had, simply add '_MG' to the existing value of dDocName to force the uniqueness.  You can easily do so in an archiver import plan as shown below and simply import the archive.

  • Import problems w / 2015.2.1 updated to Lightroom CC

Been using Lightroom successfully for about 18 months w / a Macbook Pro 8 G RAM OS OX 10.11. Recent updates to LR, namely 2015.2.1, has tapped previous example import flawless function:

    • When you open the import from SD camera card, if you view possible using Loupe View selections, the maximum that I can choose is 10-12 images, then MacBook slows to a crawl LR crashes and then firm without so much as a ticket yourself. Does not occur in the display of the grid.
    • As a discipline when I finish a day shooting, I take camera cards and immediately all select, copy and paste the images to an external drive using the Finder. When I try to import images from Lightroom tells me all images, that I try to select in the folder appropriate to this road have already been imported. I think that this extends to some parts of the direct import maps.

This update "valorisation" is a royal pain in the neck which I have found no work autour over or through.

    Suggestions?

    Thank you!

OK, much better; that seemed to work. Thank you!

  • camera Sony 7r mk can if display impossible to generate the preview when you import into Lightroom 2 - get

    Hello

Does anyone know how to get the Sony raw (ARW), taken with the new camera Sony 42megapixel, working with Adobe Lightroom.

When trying to import maps on my pro Sandisk extreme sd in Lightroom app said: Impossible to generate the preview for files that have been taken with this camera... I can't import these files.

Lightroom says cannot import files-non recognized by the raw support in Lightroom.

However, the raw files generated by the camera of Sony a7rs, imports and plays well with Lightroom...

I'm now using lightroom 6 edition of lifetime license not CC (just updated to 5.7).

I thought that this upgrade would have solved this problem... but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Is someone having a similar problem... and if so how is it resolved.

    Hi robertlue,

Sony 7RM2 files are supported in the latest version of Lightroom is 6.1.1 (Camera Raw 9.1.1)

Make sure your Lightroom is so far through this link: keeping up-to-date for Lightroom

Then, try to import into Lightroom.
