MS Home and Student on Satellite P300 - 1-9

Hi all

Just bought a Toshiba Satellite P300 - 1 9 and it has Microsoft Works installed. When you open one of the programs works Office home and Student 2007, which is not normally included in Works. There is nothing to say or indicate that it is a trial version and you need the key usual 25-digit.

Where can I find this or can anyone confirm if this is a trial version or not? Also installed, separate works, is a 60 day trial of Office 2007 which explicitly states that it is a trial.

Thank you

cheven.

Hi mate

To be honest I m a bit confused.

Firstly MS Works is MS Works and MS Office MS Office.

The two programs are different and not the same thing.

Œuvres of MS should be the full version but the MS Office is only the trial version and can not be activated and converted to the full version!

See you soon

  • Code 646 error when updated Vista Home for my Office Home and Student 2007 for KB976321.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2.  System type 32-bit operating system.  KB976321 will not update.  I have Office home and Student 2007.  Any suggestions?

Once from time to time, you must manually install the patches.  Have you tried to download and run the patch manually (without using Windows Update)?

If not, you can download the patch here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=160ad53e-6475-4550-90c2-444e4abea730.  Clickk download and then run.  You must accept the agreement, then click on continue.  After installing, restart Microsoft Update and click find updates.  If all goes well, it will show that you are completely patched.

If this does not work, try to run the Microsoft OneCare safety scanner.  Sometimes it will solve problems of hidden registry, or can clear the virus that can prevent the installation of the patches: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm. Click full service scan, and then Quick scan (full scan takes a long time to complete). Try the patches.

  • How to recover photos deleted in Office home and Student 2007

Deleted some files of picture of a USB Drive - is there a way to recover them.  I have the Windows XP Office home and Student 2007 installed in my computer.  You will appreciate any assistance.  Thank you... Violeta Galvez

Have you looked in the trash?

No longer use the USB (if you continued to use it after you have removed the photos, data may be irretrievable).

Download Recuva and install it on your computer.  Then connect the USB to the computer and use Recuva to see if any of the data on the USB is recoverable.

  • Activation of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 problem, error: exceeded the number of times allowed to activate.

    Original title: reactivation.

I bought Office Home and Student 2010 when I bought a new laptop. Over time, I have had problems with laptop computer and had to reload Office several times. Now, I bought another laptop and when I try to load the office he told me that I have exceeded the number of times authorized to activate. Is there a way around this or should I buy again?

I'd probably use activation by telephone method to activate. At most, you talk to a customer service representative and explain the situation and you will be activated. But, it is usually resolved by using the automated system.

I bought a used under Windows XP SP2 desktop computer.  I need to upgrade to SP3 to run MS Office Home and Student 2010.  I was not able to be upgraded.  Help!

If I where to install SP3 I would choose to download the

Where to download the SP3 Setup file:
(The file is large but only installs the components required by your PC)

Your computer must be at least level SP1 or SP2 SP3 will not be

I would also create a "save image" of my front disc
to install SP3 just in case you have problems.
Not having any Image backup software:
Try the 'True Image' (has a 15 day trial version available)

If you use a third-party firewall brand, of course, it is up to date (latest version)

  • Reinstallation of microsoft office home and student 2010 once laptop back to factory settings

We will have our laptop sent through for repairs in which technicians will be restore to its factory settings.

I currently have a MS Office Home and Student 2010 installed & activated after the purchase of a product key and download & install the software. I've save a backup of the installation file and, of course, will ensure that I don't lose my product key.

I just want to ensure that I can reinstall MS Office in my laptop after that she is undergoing a complete restoration of the system. My license only allows me to install/activate MS Office on a single computer. I ask because I have no idea how the activation process will know that I am simply reinstall on the same computer or if a full restore of the system would make my laptop be "recognized" as another.

All the signs are pointing me to be able to do this. But I don't want to not ask. Please confirm that I have nothing to do except save my product key and the installation file.

    Thanks in advance.

As long as the repair does not have to replace the motherboard in the laptop, you should be able to reinstall the Office product without any problem.  Just ensure that your Win XP operating system is upgraded to SP3 before trying to install, as well as to remove any office trial programs that may have been resettled when the restoration was done.
  • How can I check spelling on my email to outlook express using microsoft home and student office?

I have Outlook Express 6.0 and have always spells check the capacity.  After installation of Home and Student Microsoft Office, I don't have this ability, the ability appears gray.  How can this be repaired?

OE 6 doesn't come with it's own spellcheck. You have need of Word or a MS Office program, before 2007. The spell checker in Works 4 to 6 will work with OE, but not other editions. If you do not have such a program, you can download a free spell check to one of these sites.

    Vampirefo spell check.
