  Hello. You can test your speakers by running test audio fast ePSA or PSA tests.

  You can test the audio driver by opting for the native Windows audio driver. If you get the same symptoms with the native driver, then you can exclude a bug in the driver from Realtek. This Realtek driver has been around for awhile now and has no bugs that I know.

  • 1. open Device Manager (found in the Control Panel, or type devmgmt.msc in the search box).
  • 2. develop the 'audio controllers, video & game' and right click on "Realtek High Definition Audio".
  • 3 Select this option to "Update driver software".
  • 4. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
  • 5. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers on my computer".
  • 6. put the "Show compatible hardware" check box if not already checked.
  • 7. in the list of devices, click on 'High Definition Audio"(native driver).
  • 8. click on "next".
  • 9. in the update driver warning box, click 'Yes' (the driver).
  • 10 restart the portable computer if you are prompted. If not invited, so no need to restart.
  • [To return to the Realtek driver, do it again but reverse steps 2-7 names].

• Apple TV Airplay works with a MBP, not others

  I have two McBook Pro. Both perform exactly the same version of OS X: 10.8.5.

  The difference is, my ATV 3 appears in the menu bar of one of my Mbps, the mid-2012 and does not appear in the menu bar of my other (Late 2008).

  In 2008 there is one, in System Preferences, under 'The front', a checkbox (checked) that says "see mirroring options in the menu bar when it is available."

  But there is no familiar black triangle in the menu bar.

  However, on my MBP for 2012, in the same place, above the box I have the option "Airplay mirroring" and a drop down menu for, without doubt, regardless of the Apple TV, I want to use. The black triangle is in the menu bar.

  My Apple TV works with this computer, not the other. All three are on the same network. As far as I know, all the preferences on both computers are identical.

  I've seen many threads frustrated on this problem, which many have not been solved, but I have the advantage of having two computers that run the same systems to test.

  I have the following in a CLuster (5.5 Vcenter, ESXi hosts 5.1) problem:

  I added a new ESX to the cluster (number 9 of ESX), then added 4 network cards to the DVSwitch (uses the LACP Protocol).

  In this DVSwitch I 2 DVportGroups / tag VLAN

  The problem is the host is listed in the tab "Hosts" in VCenter to level DVSwicth, but do not appear in the DVportgroups tabs (all hosts are listed here but not the last one..)

  vmk0 migrated successfully to the VLAN 1 St... but now, it appears limited to ""... I can migrate to the DVportGroup right... and VCenter says 'ok'... but nothing changes...

  I tried to migrate a virtual machine on the ESX (2nd VLAN) = > VM pings OK...

  So "technically" it works very well... but the ESX does NOT appear as members of DVportGroup.

  The problem appeared when I tried to deploy a vApp (antivirus) on the ESX... I'm stuck at the "select VLANS for the NETWORK card"... There is no VIRTUAL LAN in the list... (because the ESX host is no not part of any dvportgroup..)

  I tried "adding the ESX to the DVportGroup" after having asked for credentials, VCenter says 'ESX is already part of the pole '...

  Someone had this strange behavior?

  What can I do?

  I had a similar case, where the hosts have been posted under DVS, but not under DVS exchanges.

  A restart of vCenter Service fixed the problem. However, I was not deploy any TIME or such.
