  We believe that the run-time error can occur at different times as the corrupted print queue is default and its position in the list of printers. The error is caused by the HP Color LaserJet CM6040 MFP PCL6 print queue, because once we stopped to this printer via the mapping RDP session, the application crashed.

  We have developed the VB6 Application on Windows XP, this VB6 application calls the dot net (x 86) DLL. The VB6 Application works fine in Win XP environment. When we deploy VB6 application in Win 7 environment, we get errors. only the calling part of Dot net does not work.

  Dear programmers,

  I use Windows 7 SP1 32 - Bit.
  I developed with VB6.0
  I develop a database application with my OS, it works on my OS.
  When I install on Win 7 32 Bit (no SP1), and also an OS Win 7 64 - Bit (no SP1), it won't work. Rather, it will return a runtime as error message:
  "Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface."

  The error message is generated by the two types of BONE.
  Please what should I do to make my application running on all windows regardless of their version? And what should I do to fix this?

• installation of FF breaks Microsoft Application Virtualization Client with XULRunner error!

  We have a document management major (Java-based) program to work. It works through virtualization: "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Application Virtualization Client\sfttray.exe" / launch "Cosa 18.0.0.4752.

  When I try to run the program once I installed FF I get a XULRunner error: error: platform version ' 18.0 ' is not compatible with minVersion > = 19.0.2 maxVersion < = 19.0.2.» After that, the program does any launch. When I uninstall FF, it works again. I installed as standard IE browser.

  I tried to install XULRunner 19.0.2. But being a noob, rather, it does not appear to be installed as a program. And it shouldn't be part of FF offshore already? I have the latest version of FF! Operating system is Win7 64 b.

  What should do? I think it's weird that client virtualization is suddenly pointing to the installation of FF.

  I solved the problem! On a co-workers computer, I noticed the firefox.exe process. She has not installed ff. Apparently, the document management program is actually a full-screen, the package based on a browser, using FF.

  When I installed FF 19.0.2 it conflicted with virtualization, running version 18. I lowered my install FF at 18.0. The document management program now embarks on a new tab, no errors.

  Hello. I have a problem you're trying to start my program I wrote long ago on VB6. When it is run, it displays an error message: "run-time error '339': component ' COMCTL32." "OCX' is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. I searched "comctl32.ocx", but it doesn't seem to be anywhere in C:\Windows (including subfolders). Using this installation - first http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=10019 , then System File Checker do not solve the problem - the program still does not work and ' COMCTL32. OCX' is not found. What should I do?

• Adobe CC 'Break' desktop application

  Ive installed this new cloud creative adobe soft office, it works for a while, 1-2 days without problem, then 'something' happens, it appears (tray was) black and white on the inside, so it can no longer be used. (so far I didn't understand why this happens, seems rather random currently)

  After that I have to stop with the Task Manager and try to reopen I get an error message indicating "adobe creative cloud is necessary to solve this problem. However, it is missing or corrupted"and I have to download again.

  now I realize that it will probably not be a decent fix (or if you please tell me), so what id like is an Installer 'offline' for the desktop app, because I don't like the concept of the download (a few MB of data, I do not know how it loads but it takes a while on my slow network) it over and over again 10secs it takes to install, well I can live with that, not perfect, but unfortunately it seems we have to use it.

  So even once in short: where can I get a full Offline Installer for the cloud desktop application current adobe creative.

  Y at - it app, or a quick way to break/disable applications that use the wifi on my MacBook Air OS10.11.4 running?
  In other words, is there something that I can use to Dropbox and Google Drive interrupt synchronization, the break of Carbonite and switch Outlook in offline mode? Note that I'm not talking about simply turn off the wifi. These applications continue to check for a wireless connection, even after the wifi is off, using energy unnecessarily.

  So I was wondering if there is some kind of a gadget that knows what applications are based on wifi and can put all pause or reactivate them all, instead of me having to remember and do each manually.

  To be effective you must really be looking for anything that uses the network. The things you mention (Dropbox, Google Drive, Carbonite and Outlook) have no idea if you are on WiFi or not. They are simply looking for a network connection.

• Acquisition of fast mode for 9214 with VB6

  I have a VB6 application that acquires data from a device to measure temperature NI 9214. The unit has two modes of acquisition, large (default) precision and high speed. With the help of MAX I can see that these modes both work in a test Panel. However I can't see how to change the mode at high speed by program in VB6. I am generation and execution in VB6 in DevStudio 2008 on a virtual Windows XP machine (host is Windows 7) using 14.2 DAQmx. Also running the compiled executable directly on Windows 7 without problem. I just want to change the mode of fast sampling (up to 100 samples/s for a single channel), while the default precision is only 1 sample/s. looking at transients of the order of 0.01 s over a period of 2 minutes.

  Can anyone help with this?

• VB6 with DAQmx compatibility with Microsoft Vista and Win7?

  I'm trying to figure out how what are my options for running my VB6 applications that use the API C of NOR-DAQmx with Vista or Win7.

  I have certain applications that we have maintained in VB6 (with Measurement Studio 6).  I programmed the software for traditional OR-DAQ hardware originally.  I suppose that I used for about 10 years or more.  About 2 years ago or if we needed to use our software with hardware recent DaqMX I've been able to use the API C OR-DAQmx for Visual Basic 6.0.  My application really support two hardware platforms simultaneously.  The person responsible for the project wanted to have 1 single application managed the two platforms (daqmx and inheritance).  So far, it's all great.

  If anyone knows what are my options if I want to use Windows Vista or Windows 7.  We are currently running this app on Windows XP.  I'm ready to upgrade my software if necessary although I have to spend to VB.net and Measurement Studio 7.1 (I currently have).  But if we were to happen tomorrow is there any compatilibility. I read that the traditional / legacy NOR-DAQ is not supported in Vista (Win7).  I googled and found there was a beta version which seemed to weakly in support of the legacy but did not support USB devices which is what I have (6020e (inheritance), SCXI (daqmx), 6259 (daqmx).)  I've heard that Windows 7 will have a virtualization system for XP applications that do not work natively under Win7, but for some reason, I doubt that the drivers and hardware will be run this way.

  Also, should there be differences between Vista and 7? I'm an XP user and computers I support many XP so I really have no experience with Vista.  I plan to install the Windows 7 RC to try some of this stuff.

  Use of our released traditional DAQ drivers is not supported on Vista systems, even running in virtual Windows XP mode. The driver works at a lower level which can emulate a virtual mode.

• VB6 activex control does not not in labview 8.5

  I am currently trying to get out of VB6 and Laview for some applications to test automated for secondary (rechargeable) batteries.

  We use Texas Instruments fuel gauges to my business and communication with them requires an EV2300 USB box.  I have the drivers installed for the box, and it works without problem in VB6.  I need to get Labview to talk to the box in the same way.

  I use 8.5 at the moment, and I thought that I had the good idea to use the BQ80xRW.dll file that is already installed on my machines to VB6 application.  The only problem is that I don't have the source code of the DLL, only the dll and ocx in my win32 directory files.  Here's what I did:

  (1) import the activeX control to palette (bq80xRW.dll)

  (2) place the bq80xRW on my VI activex control

  (3) place call nodes for the functions I want to test (GetFreeBoards--> OpenDevice--> ReadSMBWord)

  (4) to include nodes with appropriate controls (integers, strings, etc.)

  (5) run the VI

  I've included the VI I developed with this post.  Nword must, in my view, be on 16 while Cmd should be set to 1 c (to read the serial number of the part)

  When I run the program, while the USB module is connected, the GetFreeBoards node returns the following string:

  \\?\usb#vid_0451&pid_0035#5&1c93b2c6&0&2#{8eb0fa22-a67c-4a27-9913-df9ab307d886},

  If I run the program without the attached USB module, the string is empty.  Without spaces or characters at all.

  If the activeX control is something.  It's just not what I want it.  And since I don't have the source code of the dll, I don't know why.

  This big long string starting with \\?\usb is the name of the Board of Directors.  Get rid of the trailing comma and passing under the name of your Board of Directors in opendevice().

  We have a VB6 application that cannot be upgraded to .NET anytime soon.  It currently tracks / compiles on a XP machine.  I moved it to a Windows 7 machine.  I can get the code to run without any problems.  But as soon as I try to create a package, I get a "system error & H80004005 (-25147467259). Unspecified error ".  I can't say what the cause of the problem.  He has WinSock and uses ado to connect to a SQL Server 2008 database.  I need some ideas where to look for the problem.

• We can stop a Download Manager Application?

  So far, the Application Manager installed Photoshop and is 25% for InDesign, which is par for the course for the rural New Zealand after five hours of downloading.  Meanwhile, I have bugger all access to the internet to find information.  It was a doomed to total failure to actually seek the answer to this question for example.  So anyone know if I can break the Application Manager without losing a part of download, or limit its bandwidth allocation?  I had a round hunting in his preferences and found nothing useful.  As for the use of online help...    This will not happen with the severely limited the Application of the bandwidth manager left me.
