MSDSM SP2 problem

My Samsung Q45 has this driver problem MSDSM is not not compatible so that my Dell Studio 1737 improved satisfactorily. I would like to know of MS if they're going to resolve this or the MSDSM driver provider is held responsible - if only I knew what this driver.

  • Atheros AR5004G and SP2 problem

    I have read may questions on various forums and it seems that a fix is needed.

    We have recently purchased 4 laptops and upgraded to SP2. I tried the wireless and it connects using DHCP. If I use a static IP address, it will connect but something is not quite right because I can't surf the Internet.

    Are there plans on an update of the driver?

    Hi Andy

    My Tecra is also updated with SP2 and I have no problem with the Wi - Fi connection. In your case if there is some sort of functionality of the wireless card may not be hardware problem just something with the wireless settings. If the books are new it is not necessary to make any driver update. What models of laptops do you have?

    Do you use windows settings for the connection, wireless or by a wireless client? I connect to the internet through the wireless router. Do you use also wireless router? What type of connection do you use?

    As I said, it may be something with the connection parameters.

  • Vista SP2 problems

    Last night my PC crashed. After several reboots, I got the blue screen of death. My Dell is only 1 year and a half old. My heart stopped, and then my brain started to run. I have change or update?
    The answer? I've updated to Vista SP 2. To compound my problem, the crash knocked out my LCD monitor drivers, cutting the signal, what makes my screen turns off mode 'sleep'.
    I reconnected my old CRT monitor and was able to go to Safe Mode. After several attempts to solve the problem, I decided to restore the system from the previous day.
    Of course, at this stage, it was far exceeded my bed time. I was able to restore my system before I went to work, but now I am concerned about SP2. My PC did send the incident information to Microsoft. Is there anything else I should do? Someone there you had else this problem?

  • Windows will not install the USB2 drivers. New Bios, Hi speed ticked. Driver problem! SP2 problem?

    Been trying for weeks to fix this! With a Board of Asus K8vse deluxe. Compatible USB2. But I can't work. System continues to display standard PCi to USB controller. Tried updating driver, but couldn't find an update. But there was an update with SP2 so how to fix it?

    I also tried to install a belkin usb card, but when installing, it installs as standard too. I tried to install software that I downloaded from Belkin. Installed it ok and installs the USB2 drivers but when I plug a USB device in I get the blue screen of death! View of the problem of driver USB2 as guilty.
    Any ideas?
    Been said to uninstall the USB drivers but when I search USB, do not know which. But can't see how it would help if she finds no USB2 driver!
    Help! I HAVE NO HAIR LEFT!

    First thing to do would be to upgrade to SP3 from this link and then get the rest updates and then try it. If I remember correctly the SP3 is much better with USB devices.

  • Vista Home Premium, Installation of SP2 problem

    Dell Inspiron laptop computer with Vista Home premium.

    When I try to install sp2 it fails when a box pop up appears entitled "spinstall.exe - Unable to locate component" with the following message: -.

    "This application has failed to start because sqmapi.dll not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. »

    This happens as well with the update and sp2 download. Any help / suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hello dazedandconfuzed, welcome.

    I recommend you try a SFC scan first. If this fails, we can try to manually find the DLL file referenced in the error message and see if there are any problems with the file itself.

    Try this:

    1. click on START
    2. Type "cmd" (without the quotes). Right-click on the result at the top of the menu START and select 'run as administrator '.
    3. type sfc/scannow , and then press on enter
    4. then restart your computer

    Let us know what happens

  • Vista Ultimate 64 bit - SP2-problem with Sidebar - gadgets comes in random order

    Hello
    I just installed SP2 on my Vista Ultimate 64 bit - system. Everything seems to work ok, but I soon discovered a very annoying problem. The order chosen for my gadgets in the sidebar is destroyed each time I close the OS or just close sidebar and reopen again.

    I tried to use the 32 - bit sidebar.exe rather version (located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe) and this version observe the correct order, but the 64-bit version (located in C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe) destroy the order of gadgets.

    I have looked for a solution, but have not been able to find. But I discovered, that there is a general problem for all users of Vista 64 bit and a lot of people are very unhappy with this new pproblem caused by SP2. I hope that he will be made a fix for this problem that is boring as soon as POSSIBLE. A chronology of a solution?

    Cordially Teddy

    No solution for it yet, according to me, just use the x 86 version of the sidebar for now.

  • ultimate performance sp2 problems, of Vistax64 after reboot

    I turned off my computer and restarted it about 5 minutes later.  When I started this new he would start slower than usual.  Once it was launched upward, everything was slow.  I tried to disable all startup programs and restarted the process, it was still slow.

    When a program starts, it works very well, but their startup is very slow and causes other programs not responding.

    Between switching programs is slow and causes others to not answer.

    I get a lot of program does not not errors.

    I did some major changes lately.

    Everything worked fine until the closing.

    running vistax64 ultimate, sp2,.

    Thanks in advance for any help

    Hello

    This was immediately after installation of SP2 or later on?

    So immediately, it's probably a conflict with SP2 and a resident as software antivirus/antimalware program. Usually, this requires a patch from the vendor of the program. Disabling any resident program is the only real way to isolate the problem.

    If "later on", then you may have a hardware problem, which means a component fails. First thing I would do is run a disk check. Run chkdsk c: /r from a command prompt and reboot when prompted.

    It runs slowly if started in safe mode?

  • C3030 WebVPN and IE 6.0 WinXP SP2 problem

    Hi all

    I noticed that WebVPN used to access Windows shares does not properly more with IE 6.0 on Windows XP:

    How to reproduce it:

    -Connect you on the WebVPN

    -Enter a Windows access, such as \\server\share share

    -Access a file

    Now usually, when you left click on a file, we must download this file. But with IE 6 on Windows XP SP2, the attached dialog box appears. If you click on 'OK', the file is downloaded (and you are NOT disconnected!). If you click Cancel the download is cancelled. It is a VERY misleading dialog and I am very surprised that no one was complaining yet.

    Everything works fine when using IE 6.0 on Win2k SP4 or IE 6.0 on Win2k3 SP1, or when you use the browser Firefox 1.0.4.

    This could be a problem with a patch from Microsoft, because it worked before. As I do not usually of IE, I do not know after patch that MS he has stopped working...

    Assuming that the Windows Firewall is enabled, see if a reset fixes the behavior:

    1. open IE 32-bit (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run it in DEFAULT and modes difficulty then AGGRESSIVE. [1]

    2. restart & test.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    [1] full Disclosure: the difficulty operating in AGGRESSIVE mode will remove your update history but not the list of installed updates.
  • WUSB600Nv2 encryption and no. WPA2 XP Pro SP2 problem?
    Description
    Hi I just got this today. I tried to install it to my brothers 2003/2003 or 2004 old 5200-701 Toshiba laptop that runs the factory install Windows XP Home edition image. Family XP wouldn't recognize installation on cd & says operating system not supported. So I downloaded the last configuration of version from the site to support cisco home & driver Windows XP worm 1.4.10.0. Don't know what version is on the cd. The new downloaded configuration worked, it installed & found the device.
    Encryption
    Because he had the old Win XP Home, so I did an upgrade to the Windows XP Professional SP2. I can connect to my router now & using NEW CONFIGURATION of cisco for WINXP best encryption I can use is not good enough! The best that I can use is WPA-TKIP. But I want to use WPA2-AES or WPA2-TKIP. But there must be WPA2! On the page of the driver version, it shows 1.4.1.0 09/03/2009 & under the signatory digital it shows the hardware compatibility of Windows of Microsoft Publisher. Please how can I then do use WPA2 please?
    Advice, suggestions, tips, answers are greatly appreciated many thanks.
    Windows XP SP2 does not support the WAP2 encryption, you will need to download WPA2 patch on the Microsoft website or to update your windows XP SP 2 for Windows XP SP3.
    Download WPA2 patch here.
