  It seems that MSN.com has been on the home page in Firefox.  Here's a site with good instructions on how to set the home page you prefer: set your homepage in Firefox.

  You can uninstall MSN as a component of windows like Andrew said, but it is not necessary if all you want to do is change your homepage.  If Firefox is the only browser that you use once you change the homepage you probably won't see MSN again.

  The operating system on this PC is XP Service pack 3. I only use Messenger and have not updated to Skype. I would like to delete MSN Messenger in my list of programs, but wonder if cela will impact any other part of my MSN service.

  Remove Messenger shouldn't affect you in some way because you do not use.  Your MSN service should continue as it does now.  (there may be other changes coming down the pipe)

• WHAT I WANT TO DO IS TO DELETE ALL THE CONTACTS IN MY EMAIL OF A SUDDEN MSN ACCOUNT AND I CAN'T "DON'T DO IT!"

  I spent 45 minutes yesterday deleting 1350 all my contacts from MSN/Hotmail 25 at a time so that I could import a clean list today. I logged in and they are all back! Why! ? Why can't remove it at once? Why are they back? I looked in the c:\users\YourName\AppData\Local\Microsoft/Windows Live Mail (hidden folder) and removed everything inside and yet, contacts are still in my Hotmail.

  Make sure that you installed the updates for the Mail application in the Windows store. There was a recent update that has made changes to the application.

  Select a folder, right click in the window, and a toolbar should appear at the bottom of the window to ij.

  Click the Folder Options icon, and you will see 4 options.

  Empty folder

  Mark as read

  New folder

  New subfolder
