MSN Gaming zone Backgammon

insane, loading the game selects the opponent but then fails to open the game I deleted zone software reinstalls it but I can not play games on msn zone

Hi Topdn.

1. do you experience the error message?
2. If so, could you give us the exact and complete error message?
3. what Internet browser do you use?
4. what operating system is installed on the computer? What is Windows XP/Vista/7?
5. you use Internet Explorer on your computer?

If you use Internet Explorer do the following and see if the problem is resolved.

It seems that there is a common module or a toolbar installed on the browser is at the origin of the conflict. I recommend you to check in mode without modules.

Let us perform the following troubleshooting methods and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Method 1: Clear cached data in Internet Explorer.
To determine whether a performance issue or an error message is caused by corruption in the temporary Internet files or other cached information that is used by Internet Explorer, you must clear cached data.

To do this, follow these steps.
a. open Internet Explorer.
b. click Security and then click on delete browsing history.
c. remove the historical area of navigation, click on delete.

Method 2: Run Internet Explorer in "no Add-ons" mode

You can try Internet Explorer without modules. Follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1:
Run Internet Explorer in "no Add-ons" mode
a. Click Start and type Internet Explorer in the box to start the search.
b. click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). Internet Explorer opens without Add-ons, toolbars, or plug-ins.
c. test Internet Explorer to verify that it works correctly. If it works, then you can disable add-ons (follow step 2).
Step 2:
Use the Manage Add-ons tool to determine which add-on is causing the problem
a. open Internet Explorer 8.
b. click on tools and then click on Manage Add-ons.
c. in the menu view, select all add-ons to display all the modules that are installed on the computer.
d. for each item in this list, select the add-on and then click Disable in the information window.
e. When you have disabled all of the items in this list, click OK.
f. exit, and then restart Internet Explorer.
g. If problems do not recur, repeat steps 1 to 3.
h. click Activate for a simple add-on.
i. Repeat steps 6 through 8 until you determine which add-on causes errors occur.

I'm unable to play internet backgammon since reinstalled windows xp

    Hi the jaw,

Until solve us the problem that I need more information about the issue that you face, that would help us identify the exact nature of the issue and resolve it.

You receive an error message when you try to access the Web site?

You are able to access other games in the website http://zone.msn.com ?

You are able to access other Internet sites without any problem?

You have security software installed on the computer?

However, if you have any security software installed on the computer try to temporarily disable the security software on your computer and check if you can access the site and play the game. Subsequently reactivate after verification.  If it works fine by disabling the security software, it might be security software blocking access and you may need to contact the manufacturer of the security software to check if you can define exceptions to the font manager.

You can also try to optimize Internet Explorer on your computer and check if you can access the game and play.

Another question I have is, I want to update my microprocessor. But the software that I use are mathematics programs which are additions to the student. This requires (for most suppliers) is that they be registered and activated directly online. In my opinion, they said is that they identify a number of host. My question if I am not mistaken, is the number of host associated with microprocessor or maybe a chip rom or operating system. Anyway, if I update the microprocessor is there a risk that the programs launch

    1 Control Panel, add/remove programs.

2 depends entirely of their method, so you'll need to ask them instead.

  • Why won't MSN fix feat "dropout" of Backgammon to the game MSN Zone?

I have pondered this mystery for years, especially since their the Gaming area 2005 upgrade.

It seems to me if you are willing to make this kind of improvement to the game Zone, you would find the value in the pursuit of improvements.   I guess that QA must be on the back-end network operations. Nevertheless, improvements are absent in a 'function' or function that affects the user's experience.

In other words, their code is perfect, and these "bugs" are simply features according to specification. God forbid that they meet the Scrum of players bad payers who suck the life out of service the customer with their petty bickering and accusations of twisted players or of. To respond effectively would set a dangerous President in departmental priority: the monopoly is always right.

Interesting its a challenge: what will motivate Microsoft to fix the flaws area when it reflects badly on them? How long they will ignore an obvious problem and a growing source of irritation for the customer? How Microsoft is going to ignore questions from customers and low priority? I guess that all license agreements and legislation defines their relationship with society - which breeds arrogance and public relations, spin when it comes to dealing with friends. Its like the policy of customer service here has Asperger: moderation, if any, is obtuse or robotics. apparently unable to actually connect and understand or even acknowledge our existence.

Those of us who have spent a lot of time and energy to communicate honestly with them, to document and archive evidence of the bug "stall" and send it to * address email is removed from the privacy * and * address email is removed from the privacy * (according to what provides their written policy) do not know if someone is there yet. No acknowledgement of receipt or confirmation whatsoever. So I guess I'll keep sending screenshots of every cheat I meet until this problem is a priority at an Ath. Meanwhile, I'll be just watching paint dry here at Microsoft, waiting for Hades of freezes, my dead body.

Or, perhaps, they will just do the right thing...

None.   Dice and probabilities don't care about fairness, then why should Microsoft?

Even if they do, maybe we are in denial if we think it can be fixed by them.   I guess its possible that Microsoft technology is good enough to operate according to the specifications... or stay in place on the internet.

Now that seems more likely than the truth.  They just cannot fix.

Cure malaria is more worthy effort, anyway.  If they can do that I'll let this slide.

I firmly believe that the game of Backgammon (and all games of the game Zone) are what they are and will never change unless they are third-party games that someone other than an employee of Microsoft updates.  PopCap, office, for example, supplies a lot of the games and if they update one, very well.  I doubt that Microsoft will, however.  I love to be wrong, but if the problem has been so long, I don't hold any hope.

In any case, these forums cannot deal with MSN issues.
