Partition accidentally deleted HP_TOOLS - HP Pavilion g6-1344ea

As said in the subject, accidentally deleted the partition.

Hi mraxlee,

I saw your posts and I'll be happy to help you. Here different link to UEFI tools. Try and see if it will install properly for you. This is assuming you are using Windows 7, which is the case or you use another OS?

If you use Windows 7, try the link above and let me know how it goes. You still have the possibility to restore the computer to factory settings using the DavidPK link, which I have also included below.

  • I accidentally deleted my boot partition

I tried to install Windows 10 using Bootcamp but it failed and I had to start. I thought I had deleted the Bootcamp partition, but I accidentally deleted the main boot partition for Mac OS. When I try to start my Mac Apple logo appears for a while, then finally I do not see an entry sign.

In an attempt to solve this problem, I started my Mac upward into recovery mode and reinstalled Mac OS on the partition that I created for the thought of Windows, I would be able to access my files and pass them to the new facility. Mac OS installed fine, but I now have a 800 GB partition, I can't access. He appears in disk utility, but I can not unlock or fix it.

Question is, can I repair the boot partition and to come back to how I was before I screwed up?

Or, is it possible to unlock the main so partition that I can access it from the new installation, back up everything can start all over again?

What do you backup before you start this project?

  • Satellite A665 - accidentally deleted my recovery partition

I accidentally deleted my partition restoration for TOSHIBA SATELLITE A665 LAPTOP.
Would I be able to create a partition for recovery with the same content again?
    If so, how?... really confused...

Should I buy a new recovery disk because when I bought my laptop I did not receive any recovery disk...
I'll be able to get my laptop as it was before?

    Hello

Do not have recovery disks because there is a pre-installed software called Toshiba Recovery Media Creator who creates these discs.
But it must be created in the first day of the purchase, I assume that you will not be able to create this disc now because the partition (which contains the image files) has been removed.
So now, you will need to purchase the recovery (about 30) disk in order to recover the laptop. After that the recovery partition should be available again.

  • Z420: accidentally deleted the recovery partition

Accidentally deleted the Partition D:Recovery on my win machine 7 Z420. I have HP recovery disks: System Recovery, Driver Recovery DVD, 8.1Pro operating system and operating system Win 7 pro sp1.  The use of these will recreate the partition D automatically or do I have to do this first.  I have the orientations of the white paper "Restoring Microsoft windows 7 on the z420 ', but I was told that it will not recreate the recovery partition.  There is no need to restore everything if in fact I still have until the end without disk recovery D and files?

There is no way to recreate the recovery partition on the z420.  The recovery disk media that I bought with the Z420 does not include this information.  It will only recover the original operating system and drivers and software that came with the system.  I spoke with HP z workstation support today.

I accidentally deleted my D drive that contains system files to restore my computer to factory settings, I did however do a restore USB drive system, can I put it on my D drive and it works the same way?

    Herb, welcome to the forum.

I don't think that you can move the recovery partition of the USB hard disk.  The D: partition is restored when you perform a recovery of the system using the USB drive, however.

  • I accidentally deleted my sound program, how can I get it back

I was going to delete a program in the control panel that I didn't need, but accidentally deleted that bad now, I have no sound system or headphones

    Either:

    * install the audio drivers CD/DVD media supplied with your machine (or support for that partition)

    or (and this is better):

    * Go to the manufacturer's Web site, find the support page for your unit and download the latest audio drivers from there and then install them.

  • Partition recovery deleted and put in the form

    Hello

I accidentally deleted the partition recovery of my compaq presario cq61 (win7 home premium 64 bit) while trying to install another operating system.  Before the accident, I got the drive C and drive D marked Recovery, now after you remove the other operating system I have the drive C and D of road marked as system.

It is possible to recover this partition to backup an image I did before?

    Thank you

    Hi Michele,

The recovery partition recovery is not otherwise likely to be a possibility with free software. The chances of restoring the windows backup is also pretty thin.

If your brother's laptop is absolutely identical then use it is a viable solution to the problem.  If it is not the same, then it will be a waste of time that the Recovery Manager will refuse to work.

The best option is to use a recovery disc that is designed especially for or created by your laptop. 30.00 $ is much cheaper than purachasing an operating system.

You can save the partitions of current drive with a program like Paragon program I you provided a link to in a previous post. At least that way you'll have a reliable picture of the current situation on the hard drive of your laptop.

You can also legally reinstall Windows using the Microsoft Windows license on the certificate of Authenticity on the bottom of your laptop.

    Best regards

Wouldn't let me press the transformed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for spelling and grammar issues. I have a learning disability. Thanks again Jenmoon1

    Hi Jennifer,.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community forums.

I'm sorry to know that you are facing a problem on the Windows 7 machine. Let me try and help you with the problem.

    1. did wipe you the data from the hard drive? You mentioned that you accidentally deleted the hard disk driver.

2 are you referring to the loss of data from a partition on your hard drive?

    3. you mentioned on the second hard drive, could you please confirm if this is a partition, you are referring in a hard drive?

If data is lost during the factory reset, then you will need to use a third-party software or with your laptop to a local technician who would be able to guide to recover the data.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved.

Hope this information helps. If you have any other questions, we will be happy to help you.

  • I deleted my hp pavilion dv6 headphones. can you help me to restore the capacity?

Recently, my speakers went out on my HP Pavilion dv6 of Beats edition laptop.  I used my headphones since, and in a last attempt to restore my speakers (an attempt tragic dyi) I accidentally deleted my headset to my laptop capabilities.  Can you please tell me how to get the functionality I've lost.  I run on Windows 7 on my computer. Need help please, I rely on this computer to watch TV and movies while I'm in College.  And if there is a way to fix my computer speakers, that would be great as well.

    Thank you

    deis2016

Well, you must make sure that the speakers are set as the default audio device. Try the following.

    1. Click Start, type 'Sound' and press ENTER. This will open the sound preferences window.
    2. Click on the speakers and the "set as default" button down.
    3. After you click OK, restart your computer.
    4. Display the result.
