  OK, I heard about this once before, where the default basic configuration has been changed at the beginning of the life cycle of this product and WAN access problems were solved using a newer base from config.  Depending on your router, I have attached the default config, you can start with (or compare to yours).

• Live MSN 2011 silently disconnects

  Hello

  I looked around for hours on my weird problem of MSN Messenger and never really found a solution so far.

  My MSN disconnect in silence. I can't say until my friends inform me through any other e-mail programs that I appear offline where I'm not. When I try to change their status to all I disconnect and reconnect quickly. Its been happening only on my MSN accounts 1. I tried different devices, networks and the problem persists. I did a clean install and followed several steps which include deleting a corrupted folder address if found. My msn account belongs to no group. I also tried to run MSN on blackberry using RIM servers and I always had the same problem. If it's not my computer or my internet. I'm not really sure what's wrong with this msn account more. I have generated a large number of newspapers, but I can't find out what is the issue.

  Use port 587 instead of port 25 of the SMTP server.

   

  To give you a little history, Windows Mail does not support the HTTP messaging, which for a long time was the only authorized method of access for free Hotmail accounts. In addition, given that the development of Windows Mail was frozen in July 2006, there no knowledge that Microsoft has enabled POP access for free Hotmail/Live/MSN accounts in February 2010.   I have four total emails on Thunderbird. Two of them are "msn.com" e-mail. I have problems with these two msn accounts.

  I have send an email to MSN_1 account but I am receiving responses to my MSN_2 account.

  I don't have a 'reply-to' setting turned on. I looked at the settings options, but nothing caught my attention on the possible resolution.

  How can I have this judgment? I keep accidentally replying to messages with secondary MSN mail.

  Looks like your MSN_1 account uses the settings of the outgoing (SMTP) server from your MSN_2 account, including the e-mail address to MSN_2.

  Go to: menu Thunderbird: tools: account settings

  On the left side in the account settings, select your MSN_1 account. On the right side down, you will see that you can change what outgoing (SMTP) server is used for the account. Make sure that the appropriate SMTP server is selected.

  If you are not sure what is SMTP server which, then select "outgoing (SMTP) Server" on the left side (at the bottom) and look at the 'user name' for each of the servers on the right side.

  It was working perfectly until that date, but after Sierra upgrade it keeps losing my SMTP server config.

  After some instructions on mail and Sierra problems (in this thread: Re: IMAP e-mail accounts went into Mail after upgrade of Sierra), I have built my mail again, created new account, but the problem remains.

  What happens is that it continues to lose my SMTP server. I re-entered 20 times or more, save, but she mysteriously disappears. I go to Mail > Preferences > accounts, select my manual counting and this is what I see under "server settings":

  Installation with SMTP servers for each account. THEN in Mail > Preferences > composition select always send from Gmail account.

  Check if your phone mail server settings are for IMAP.

  Hello Gil, three (hotmail.com, live.com, outlook.com) Microsoft e-mail addresses are all transferred to the new interface. I don't think that there is a way to undo that.

  If you go to http://hotmail.com server should automatically redirect you to the new page of connection and/or the new mailbox. Your e-mail address and the password should work.
