  1. Please connect to the BIOS by pressing F10. Disable Intel Smart Sound (ISST) in BIOS

  2 uninstall the Audio drivers from the Device Manager, then restart the computer.

  3 reinstall the Audio drivers once more.

  It turns out that the mobo was very good and it was the power supply. Replaced, works very well. kept the new mobo.

  Everything runs great, the problem is that at the start of the wizard detects new hardware:

  -Ethernet controller

  -Multimedia audio controller

  at the back of the PC, a LAN led is green, a solid orange. Everything is connected correctly because the Verizon Fios connection is strong (I'm on my laptop using the WAN connection now).

  I read a few other threads need an ethernet driver, but nothing I have install seems to help.

  Can you? Is there something that I am missing? I need my LAN back!

  I guess what you're missing is driver sound.
  Please also check document Setup Instructions and install all the stuff after this installation order. It is very important.

  b. click Run, in the Run dialog box type devmgmt.msc

  I found this Toshiba Satellite SA10 S811 at my workplace and I'm trying to set up for my brother so that he can use it for school.

  So far, I have all the device drivers installed but two.

  Hi, I'e read this forum and tried to install audio drivers time and time again, I also tried to install the chipset drivers but the message that I get up is

  "' the chipset intel... requires a platform chipsets supported running on a supported operating system.

  I'm running XP2 but this laptop was 2nd hand and did not get the portable computers drivers disk or XP so I can't reformat and start from scratch.
