  You cannot move the 'Users' all things, but you can redirect "My Documents" to another drive... See here...

  You cannot rename the folder because too much is bound to the file. If you want to change the name of the folder, create a new user account.

  I'm the only user on my PC, but I always use a password to connect.  When I had Windows XP I had, but a sign as administrator and Standard user handset and all was fine. Then all in a PC technician who boasted of how he is, has completed the installation of Windows 7 and removed or literally lost everything on my computer! The explanation of the latter being superfluous to my question, but "phew!" it's good in passing as I am I am always overwhelmed by the traumatic loss.

  The sign of WIN7 was somehow Setup with a separate standard and administrator connections.  Therefore, whenever I chose to activate some administrative functions, I have to connect to the account administrator, etc. I want what I had always used and liked, a sign was my name as two entities. I know it's possible, I don't know how to do in this regard. I wonder if I just delete both (if possible) and create again? It is obvious that I am confused as to why the game 'tech', with both sign in the when I am the only user. Thanks in advance!

  Why not just log in as the admin and forget the standard user.  By default, administrators have all permissions of a standard user & all the permissions of an administrator.

  In fact, you CAN remove the user std.

  I suspect you ask something different but not sure about that.

• What creates the hex files (hexagonal names bracketed) who are accumulating in the appdata/local folder of the user?

  I'm running Windows 7 on a recently purchased HP PC (AIO-200-Quad).  I have only a username defined on this PC.  I have a printer installed, Windows Live Mail, IE8, and Office 2010 H & S and Norton Internet Security 2011.

  The appdata/local folder for this user keeps getting new hex file of names (long names containing Hex numbers and dashes, surrounded by curly brackets) created in it.  1 to 3 files are created each day since the aftermath of this PC has powered first.  All of these files are empty.  I could not it correlate directly to a specific activity that I still do, although there is some evidence that Norton looking for spam emails is one of the culprits.

  What applications or the OS functions create these folders?  Something is adjustable so they are deleted when they are no longer needed? (Disk cleanup does not remove them)  Are they safe to delete directly through Windows Explorer?

  I think you'll find that at least some of these records are created whenever the Windows Live installation done his version check twice a day. You can compare the time stamp on files with log files created in the same time to localappdata%\Microsoft\WLSetup\Logs %.

  The product team mean (PM) that records are supposed to be deleted when the installation is complete, and if they are not, it could be because the AV software has a lock on them. I do not believe that.

  As long as they are empty, they can safely be deleted.

• Body hangs for a single user

  We run Adobe CC 2013 on a Dell T7600, 32 MB of RAM, K5000 GPU. Lots of interior storage. Two identical systems were broadcast as a champion since 12/2013.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled. No change to each user.
  Crashes in safe mode as well (hold down the SHIFT key)
  No present addons in the other user.
  Ran Malwarebytes and cleaned
  Ran CCCleaner and clean up all registry including uninstalled Firefox entries.

  This is not useful if firefox crashes at startup. because you cannot start to create the new profile.

  You must rename the XPI file to the ID (GU) of the extension in the install.rdf file or just install the extension in a profile and copy the file or folder of this profile in the extensions folder.
