• RoboHelp crashes when the generation of Microsoft Help

  I have been using RoboHelp for a few months now and have been able to generate. Help files CHM windows to the entire project achieved so far.  I just encountered a problem with RoboHelp, in which case the application crashes by generating a Windows Help file.  My installation has not been upgraded or otherwise modified, so I guess it's a specific problem of the project.

  I've been on the phone for technical support from Adobe, which proved to be unsuccessful.  I expect that once the adobe employee it is difficult to remember what has been RoboHelp!

  I have raised a bug with adobe about this issue, but could not provide much information, because it seems to be no error log.  The Windows Event Viewer is clear and the application is in a clean state when reopened.

  A few questions for you:

  Are there problems to generate Windows Help files?

  How can I narrow the search for the cause (get information from a logfile etc.)?

  Save a copy of the file somewhere outside the project and save the project for additional security.

  Then look at what is in the subject outside of simple text. Remove the bits at a time until it will compile. Then after return what you deleted which seems to have fixed.

  In addition, I think thers a "check project" as its called in there. You must run it and see if theres any problems it finds.

  I use Windows 7 and I have the same problem. When I went to 3.6.4, Firefox would be to lock up whenever I tried to play any flash video. I have tried several sites and it would lock up every time I have to close by the Task Manager. I've updated the Flash Player and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing could solve this problem.

  I read that they supposedly separated the plugins like flash in a separate procedure to keep firefox crash if flash does, but apparently they didn't do this right. I had to go back to Firefox 3.6.3 worm and flash works without any problem in this version. Seems that firefox must correct 3.6.4 since it seems he's messed up video flash for many users, if not most. It is useless if it can't play flash since almost all Web sites use this format!

  There was a bug in all versions of Viewer 24 and earlier that have arisen during the last iOS updated acme outside. If you upgrade to v25 or later version the issue will go away.

  Need help with my dads pc, it is running Windows XP SP2 with IE7, the computer crashes as soon as an internet connection is detected, I have to remove the usb adapter WiFi to regain control of his PC, we use a model Linksy Cisco Modem ADSL2 + Daul-Band Wireless - N WAG320N, which is used for a certain number of laptops xbox and ps3 with no problems whatsoever.

  The system works very well without any problem until what the internet is detected and you must reset the computer of the tower base, we have tried a number of different usb adapters and a pci card but have the same result, a computer from freezing. I tried a number of different articles of this site, but all have failed, so it's my call for help to get my dads pc back on the internet, if I could get answers to the English plan as im not as good as I used to work on these systems.

  I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

  Method 1:

  Step 1: Start in safe mode with network.

  To use a safe mode with network option, follow these steps:

  (a) restart your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.

  (b) use the arrow keys to choose Safe mode with networking in the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and press ENTER.

  Step 2: PEd a clean boot and then check to see if it helps.

• RV082 VPN to ASA5500 device crashes when the keep-alive enabled

  Hi all.

  We have several here RV082s which are intended to connect to a central ASA5510 firewall. VPNS are configured and essentially operate, however in our test environment the RV082s kept crashing after seemingly unpredictable time (sometimes after several days or even weeks). The RV082 have the new firmware (v4.1.0.02 - tm).

  Investigations further on the issue, I discovered that accidents can be reproduced upon activation of the keep-alive option on the RV082. Power on the RV082, they can get started, start the VPN, and then they crash a few seconds after the tunnel has been implemented (one or two pings go usually). When crashing, the RV082 becomes completely inaccessible, IE no ping, no interface Web etc.

  There is a note in the firmware release notes saying that the activation of the keep-alive option would not work the way that it should. However it seems that enabling this option allows the router completely crash after the next reboot. This makes the keep-alive option basically useless, however we need since the routers will be installed at remote sites with no staff there.

  Is it possible to activate the keep-alive option without the crash of routers immediately after start-up?

  The RV082 is configured to route all traffic to the ASA? If so, there is a special beta firmware that is trying to solve the problem. However, you will need to call the help desk to create a ticket first.

  The fixed!

  I removed the scripts that I had added over the years and is no longer crashed when updating of links... for a trial. Then I replaced my preferences again and it seems to have returned to normal operation.

  Thus, if the replacement of your preferences does not resolve the problem, try to remove all the additional improvements that you added and replace your preferences again.

  I found some descriptions of problem on LR performance... a few months ago I replaced my original H drive with an SSD drive and now Lightroom and Photoshop works like a dream... ie no performance problem with LR 6.6
