  Is there a formatting issue that I don't see? It seems to me that once it downloads on BC, things are converted and will not be converted. It is vital that I can make changes to both the browser and the master file without interruption of the site as a whole and without having to redo work hours which is done via the browser in the editor.

  I spoke with business catalyst support and we have determined that the problem was not with the software but with the process. I just change each page through the site manager and not through the edit tab that was causing my whole question. I appreciate all your help!

  Are you preview site in the edge browser? When you preview the page in the browser Muse create a local server to give you the preview in the browser. With the edge browser, there was a reported issue to access the local server.

• How to transfer the Site Muse on Business Catalyst to the new account of Catalyst Business

  I have a client who needs to move their site from a former supplier that uses Business Catalyst and Muse for their Web site and CMS.  The previous service provider is not very useful, that's why we want to give detailed instructions to move the site to a new account Business Catalyst and then manage the DNS once the site is transferred.  Any idea or the input is greatly appreciated.

  Online Support request to move the site to your new account. Support will probably escalate it and need to audit, the two parties want to do this etc... Ultimately, the site will appear in its new portal partner and they can manage the site as another.

  Here's the scenario.

  My Adobe personal account has been updated since many years of individual applications in Creative Suite and is now used for my creative cloud subscription.

  When I became a partner Adobe BC, I decided because it would be for commercial use only I should create a second Adobe account.

  At no time during the partner registration process Adobe BC did I read all of the instructions from Adobe advises me not to.

  With Adobe Muse, in the preferences panel, I can happily switches and publish sites to two my staff or business accounts Adobe. BC

  However, this is not possible in DW.

  The Business Catalyst Panel always connects to my personal account of Adobe BC - that is provided as part of my creative cloud subscription.

  I need to be able to publish sites to my Adobe BC partner account.

  
  

  In summary, I pay for Adobe Dreamweaver, as part of my creative cloud subscription, but can't really use it to develop websites for clients.

  Can someone from Adobe please look at this and tell me how to solve.

  Okay, so today I managed to solve the problem I described above, i.e. to develop websites using Adobe Dreamweaver and my personal ID Adobe CC, but publish websites on Adobe Business Catalyst that requires my Adobe ID company.

  Here are some tips if you have encountered a similar problem.

  Basically ignore sign Business Catalyst of Dreamweaver.

  In Dreamweaver to open the panels to manage the Site, select the site you want to publish to Adobe Business Catalyst, then click the button change site select currently.

  In the dialog box of configuration of the Site, in the list on the left, click servers, and then below the list of servers in the middle of the dialog box, click the button Add a new server.

  In the base dialog box, name your server if you want, for example I've named mine Adobe BC.

  Then, I changed my connect to help: to FTP SFTP.

  Change the SFTP address to: yourwebsitename.businesscatalyst.com

  Authentication: User name will be: yourwebsitename.businesscatalyst.com/ [email protected]

  Password: YourAdobeBCLoginPassword

  If any of the above information has been entered correctly, when you press the TEST button, Dreamweaver needs to connect to AdobeBC successfully.

  Use the files Panel to connect to BC and was able, Get Adobe or synchronize files as required.

  By the foregoing, I am now able to develop, update and manage corporate sites Adobe BC using Dreamweaver, happy days!

I would take it live via Business Catalyst, but when I click on "Launch Site", I get a window that says: "to start this site, you must go to a subscription cloud creative Adobe, which includes accommodation for 5 sites with Adobe Business Catalyst". Then he directs me to the purchase page. But I already have a subscription of cloud. What is going on? Can someone help me?

  Individual creative cloud subscription allow you to host 5 free sites with Business catalyst. As you use Student edition, your product does not free sites. To grow your direct site, you pay for it.

  Are you referring to the integration of a third party Blog in Muse site, and then publish them in British Colombia, which items should be stored in the folder sub level?

  Since the end of BC, you can create Blogs and use module on page Muse, on the Colombia-British edition, you can set the directory of the host that created the sub under the root folder.

• Using a model of Muse in Business Catalyst

  How can I use a template I created in Muse for my blog that is hosted on Adobe Business Catalyst? Muse web content creation is much easier and faster. I'm quite familiar with Muse and BC, but I can't figure out how to do.

  Currently, I have created a simple header and footer in British Colombia and inserted {tag_pagecontent}. However, I am much better at manuevering in Muse. I would be also able to be more creative in the Muse.

  It's because BC has created a template out of it file. You need to create and apply this model to a new page within Business Catalyst.

  Hi all!

  Before you read the post, keep in mind the two reasons for the existence of this post:

  1. To see if anyone else is having this same problem and how it was solved if it has actually been resolved
  2. To make more noise the thread that I started on the Forum of BC for once again, this problem solved immediately. The thread can be found here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/989396?tstart=0

  NOTE: This is NOT to start a war of the fire- MUSE or BC. I appreciate both products and will continue to apply in our projects for our clients. I have just a question right now with the level of attention and communication, we receive on this subject with regard to the disastrous circumstances, he presents to my company and our current and potential customers.

  The story so far:

  The problem we started Thursday night with the transfer of our site (Muse) on the BC system. We are a 'free partner' seeking to become "Premium partner" with the catalyst of the business system. Currently we have also a few other clients on the system of catalyst for business as well.

  After the transfer to the BC system, we spent all day Friday trying to get email for the functioning of the Admin account. Finally reached Fox in Live Chat with BC. He could not help.

  Finally, at the suggestion of the Fox we submitted a ticket via our partner account. Less than 20 minutes, we were no longer able to access our portal partner of Business Catalyst.

  So, now, not only we not have access to email for the administrator account, but cannot enter the catalyst for business system to implement and create anything for ourselves or customer. This represents not only a problem of communication which relates to the enamel, but we have customers and prospects expect updates, maintenance as well as projects which are ongoing and future proposals.

  As you can imagine it is of importantance vital that we receive an answer IMMEDIATELY someone within the BC system to set things right.

  So, once again; We're here to see if there are similarities with someone of another experience with MUSE / BC or if it is quite unique, as we hope, possibly to attract the attention of someone within the system to make enough noise with connections to Business Catalyst for that to be resolved quickly so that we can all spend productively.

  In addition, since we do not have email, ironically, the only way at this time to contact us is via the forums or via the business line to 847-367-5600.

  Alright. Problem has been resolved.

  Thanks to Mario, Alex, Brad, Liam and everyone on the BC forums who took the time to get involved in this problem and get solved for us. Much faith has been restored in the BC system as well as the product of the Muse.

  Moreover, it seems that Muse has problems with connecting to the sites we create life 'manage' button in the interface. Is this a bug or something under development?
