  My problem is that I recently had a HP Support Assistant alert to download the new HP Support Assistant for the latest features.

Then it will skip "Download updates" and go on 5 /, but nothing happens?

  Point adjustment 1/restore... pass; 2 disk space / audit... pass. 3 / connecting to HP services for new updates and alerts... pass. 4 / download updates... N/a; 5 / install/apply the selected items... no?

  Should I have to uninstall the version that I already have the update through and re - install a new Version, or you have any patch that can be applied to make this update installs successfully?

  I tried again since my last email with the problem where I couldn't find the program once it is downloaded, and alongside the race/Save little was downloaded files. I clicked on it and watched the sp54931.ex download in a folder "view and track downloads. I then told run this and asked that my administrative password. I thought here goes while I'm waiting for a response from you, nothing to lose to new and low and here is the update for the new Version HP Support Assistant downloaded correctly. Since then, I had a glance in the desktop program and there is no warning, everything is up-to-date.

  If all is well now and I can't thank you enough for all your help to try to solve this problem for me. You are the experts, and I was just lucky. I sincerely thank you.

  I'm not really clear on the intent of your question.  If you can get the latest version you want to buy it.  When you go to buy, you should be able to see if it has an option to buy an update of the version you currently have.  I can't find the purchase page to check it out myself... I can only find the subscription option.

• Upgrade to 3.0 asking does not migrate settings from the previous version

  I have two jobs, I'm running and I have SQL Developer 3.0 upwards a race and has been invited to capture my preferences from my previous installation to the new version. Connections and reports have all migrated to this version. The other workstation, I did the same thing and when I tried to run SQL Developer tried to run first using the sqldeveloperW.exe and it hung and would not do anything and I had to reboot my box to use it more. I was able to run sql developer on this box since then however it does not ask me to migrate my settings from my previous installation. How can I do this?
  
  I tried to extract files in the directory running of deletion, I tried to find the registry settings (impossible to locate any for developer sql pertaining to the management of versions), I downloaded the new version again and extracted. Any help on this would be appreciated!

  You can delete all the SQL Developer\systemXXX folder under the (hidden) of your Windows user profile Application data. This will reset all default settings and ask for the migration.

Why in the world 1/2 old software CD automatically recognized by Windows 8 and the other 1/2 no? None of these programs and their CDs are particularly old or dated. Worse still, I have a Canon printer and rickety Windows 8 will not load automatically when I insert the installation CD. And windows does not show the CD when I do a search in D: drive. How and why are you people so incompetent?  I'm sorry to be rude and mean, but seriously. The whole bloody point of tech and people like you is to operate more easy is DO NOT IMPOSSIBLE, TIME CONSUMINGLY DOULOUREUX.

  Just kind of guessing here, but you could browse through your control panel... "AutoPlay" settings and see if it can just be a problem with setting...

  Another possibility is that one of your programs blocking access to some of the CD...

  Some programs have the option of 'Ownership' of your drive, for lack of a better description...

  iTunes can possibly do this and some CyberLink programs... There are other institutions...

  Another possibility is that some of them may be blocked by Windows because of compatibility issues...

  Some windows updates do precisely that for some programs.

  I think you should watch the video again:

  1 Terry click on the + tablet button, not the phone.

  Method 1:

• F4480 printer does not yellow, even with the new cartridge print
