Muse folder structure

I'm building an intranet site in Muse. Links to hundreds of PDF files. I need a more complex folder structure to keep them organized. Muse will never allow the subfolders in the current folder?

Currently, there is not to my knowledge, you would have more chance present this as a feature request

  • Can we create a folder structure?

    When I transfer mp3 files to the element by plugging it into my computer, I have the following folder structure:
    Music
    Folder1
    Name1.MP3
    Name2.MP3
    ...
    Folder2
    Name1.MP3 (a different file than in Folder1!)
    Name2.MP3
    ...

    However when I try to read the files, I see only
    Music
    Albums
    Name1
    Name1
    Name2
    Name2
    In other words, mp3 files that I had separated in 2 different subfolders are all presented together.

    Is there a way to get the Clip to recognize the structure of folders when reading files that exist during their transfer?

    It's there, just click down to it.

    Album, artist, etc. are not records - they are lists collected since the mp3 files ID3 tags.

    However, if you scroll way in front of them with a single click to the top - or music - you will see your own structure of files and folders.

    Make sure that in settings/system/USB settings you have configured in MSC. That's why the Clip act as a standard Flash drive.

    MTP mode is designed to help sync Windows Media Player with the Clip and it can change your names of files for its own reasons indexing. Auto Detect will choose PSG if your computer's Windows Media Player, so it is best to leave it on MSC.

    Your computer can see only one mode at a time, so if you have transferred files through the PSG, go to PMT, remove and re - transfer via MSC.

  • Folder structure of Smartphones from blackBerry for music in the storm

    Hello

    OK, this question is related to the functioning of the storm records. Specifically, on the SD in my Storm.

    I finally got a few songs on my Storm and they play very well. However... I don't like the way 'standard' storm affects up to my music files. Normally, I like to create/name my own files with associated music in each of them.

    I can open my Storm SD card or folders in Windows Explorer and change them around and rename and all that. I can also do it in the (Roxio) Media Manager. HOWEVER... once I've made these changes, name changes to folder/don't take place on the phone.

    The ideas people?

    Thanks for your help!

    OK, I'm not an expert on such things, but have gone through a lot of the same pain.

    1 JSanders is correct, BB will organize and display music files based on data associated with files.  Your directory structure does not control that.  You don't need even a structure of directory on your SD card.

    2 Save. you the trouble and stop using Roxio, VCast or any other desktop as a means of file transfer application to and keeping them on your BB.  Use a music library of your choice - RealPlayer, Windows Media Player application, some - to organize your library Office in this folder structure you like.  Use this application in addition to set the file attributes you want to see reflected on the BB - that is to say in your kind of title, Album, say alternative Office library, no matter what.

    3. connect your BB to the office using mass storage Mode - if you don't know how to do this, there are other threads that address it, if I can explain it.  This essentially will allow to see and interact with the BB as if it were just another drive.  Open the two explorers windows containing the (office computer) source and destination locations of directories (BB SD card, L: drive on my machine), delete all music from your BB and start drag and drop your music as well as its directory structure of your hard drive on your SD card.

    4. to logout, BB will take a few seconds to minutes to read the files in his PB.  Once you could see things in the way that you expect.

    5. However, if not, or if there is always stray files not organized as expected, you can go to every file on your hard drive. Do a right click and properties; GoTo Summary tab and click on advanced if it is the first time, you've been there; directly replace the attributes of the file that are presented in the screen that ensued.  Click Ok.  Then repeat steps 3 and 4 above, or at least for files, you have edited this way.

    Let me know if this is not clear and if Yes if it works.

  • LR: Export or publish LR folder with subfolders to HD with the same folder structure

    It is in fact an enhancement request that I post here because I found no option in the web site for the enhancement requests.

    In Lightroom, I would like to have a way to export or publish a Lightroom folder with subfolders to a hard drive for export or publishing retains the same folder structure, including file names and subfolder. My idea is to create a JPG of all my raw files edited in another drive outside of Lightroom. If I move images autour, change file names, or do further editing in any image, I'd like it to appear on the external copy. Theoretically, I should be able to publish my albums directory and all subdirectories of my would be automatically included and copied to the external hard drive.

    Lightroom has currently a way to publish on a hard drive, but it is a feature of dish (of level) publication, for the moment.

  • How to copy the folder structure in the WCC in another environment?

    Hi all

    I want to know, WCC has it a function to import or export the folder structure? Is it because I have several environments requiring installation with the same configuration and the structure of folders. It is quite time consuming at the same configuration of installation several times. It'll be great if I can copy and paste the setting in other rooms. WCC has this kind of function? If need can someone help to share the steps detailed here.

    Appreciate your help.

    Hello

    Are you looking for Folders_g or FF?

    If it is old, then you can go to Administration - file management - select - export the folder structure.

    It will create and download a file HDA.

    On the folder target, in the same menu as above - the import folder structure and which will create the folder hierarchy, as it is.

    If it FF, then archive - Select export options - Tables only - choose a table FolderFolders and Foldersmeta - export it.

    Use it to import from the target server.

  • Knowledge Base folder structure

    Is possible to change the tree view of the folder in the Knowledge Base?

    The largest part of the folder structure is created when the initiative is created and cannot be changed.  In the Documents and templates, you can add subfolders if you wish.

  • Why prelude doesn't respect my folder structure while importing files: no subfolders imported

    I have a large number of video files in the folders and subfolders. But when I try to import them into Adobe prelude CC 2015.1, none of my imported subfolders. Instead, it's a complete mess with all the files into a single folder. Organizing my folder structure as I wanted in the operating system, now I have to do any second once in prelude. Surely this can not be the only way. I don't understand because I read on CreativeCow.net that this problem had been resolved in 2013 and you now want to import folders with subfolders in prelude, prelude respect the operating system of the imported files folder hierarchy: https://forums.CreativeCOW.NET/thread/3/943781

    But I am not able to get this working:

    It's my folder structure for a documentary of the first World War:

    Screen Shot 2016-01-27 at 9.51.37 PM.png

    Here, I checked everything (files and subfolders) in the folder of the WWI allies, I want to import.

    Screen Shot 2016-01-27 at 9.52.01 PM.png

    But prelude instead goes and backup all the files in the top level, forcing me to have to recreate all subfolders:

    Screen Shot 2016-01-27 at 9.52.15 PM.png

    Hi ninose11,

    Unfortunately, prelude does not support directly import them folders or subfolders. It will be important only the media inside the selected files.

    However, you can create bins in the lead on the project, according to your folder structure Panel and import the required media directly in these bins.

    This workflow is available in Premiere Pro where you can import the structure of file directly.

    Customer feedback is important to us. Please fill out the feature requests for the things you want to see as a prelude to the http://www.adobe.com/go/wish.

  • For help. MXF outside the P2 folder structure?

    For a big project that will involve to ingest about 500 to a Panasonic Varicam P2 cards, I'm trying to work on a workflow where I can get out of the folder structure of the P2 card for improved flexibility to store huge amounts of clips for easier (re) to link to files proxy or source material.

    I did experiments with just copy the. MXF files from the AVCLIP folder to another location: a folder named "SOURCE" on another disk. First always load and bed these clips without complaining and I keep my 4 audio channels. If I transcode these. To ProRes proxy MXF files and store them in a folder named "PROXY", I can easily (re) link to the source material or proxy servers. Which is exactly what I want. I don't think that I have an important use for metadata of origin in the XML files that are separated in the CLIP folder or the thumbnail files in the folder of the ICON on the P2 card. The other files are empty anyway.

    It seems to work very well, so what am I missing (potentially)? Is there a reason why this would be a bad idea?

    I would keep the in the P2 folder structure.

    If break out you the MXFs, you will lose connection files between clips that are more than 4 GB in size as well as the files that span different p2 cards but aussient lose clip metadata.

    You will travel to a world of pain.

    Don't worry about using a proxy workflow, just buy more hard drives. They are pretty cheap.

  • How to get read the vsphere client in Perl folder structure?

    Moritz

    It is built in function that does this for you.  It recursively traverses the path to the root.  It is not the best in terms of performance, but if you're not in large environments in bulk to a large number of managed entities, it will work fine.

    #! / usr/bin/perl
    use strict;
    use warnings;
    use VMware::VIRuntime;
    Use Data::Dumper;
    My % opts =)
    vmname-online {}
    type-online "s =",
    variable-online "VMNAME",.
    help-online "full name of the virtual machine.
    necessary,-online 1
    },
    );
    OPTS::add_options (%OPTS);
    OPTS::parse();
    OPTS::Validate();
    Util::Connect();
    my ($vm, $name, $path);
    $name = Opts::get_option ('vmname');
    $vm = Vim::find_entity_view (view_type-online 'VirtualMachine", filter-online {name-online $name});
    Die 'Can't find the virtual machine with the name '$name' ' unless $vm;
    $path = Util::get_inventory_path ($vm, Vim::get_vim());)
    print ' VirtualMachine '$name': $path\n ";
    BEGIN {}
    $ENV {'PERL_LWP_SSL_VERIFY_HOSTNAME'} = 0;
    }

    Perl vm-path.pl--username=administrator@vlab--password = VMware1! -Server = 172.16.254.81 - vmname = DC2_C4_RP3_VM36

    VirtualMachine 'DC2_C4_RP3_VM36': DC2/vm/DC2_C4_RP3_VM36

    You can also watch some scripts circulating in the samples, it made its own recursive function to back up the tree to get the names of data center.

    http://communities.VMware.com/docs/doc-9614

    You can modify this script to get similar results.

    If you get the paths for a large number of entities in a large environment, you might want to look forward and generate a map of hash of all the parent property and the name, then walk that yourself instead of calling back to vCenter every time.

  • How can I see my folder structure in the mode of development?

    In library mode, I can see my files. When I switch to the mode of development, I lose sight of my folder structure. I have only selections. When in library mode, the window displays the folders option. But the window menu does not have folders option.

    You can't see your files in Mode develop.

    In my opinion, the best solution is to press G to return in grid Mode, press D to return mode to develop. It is not heavy and works well.

  • Lightroom CC imported from Aperture and folder structure ignored

    I recently migrated to Apple Aperture 3.6 to Lightroom CC on my MacBook Pro 15 "10.10.3 running. I left the original referenced files in place on an external hard drive. All imported Lightroom with success, including using my Aperture libraries as sets. Unfortunately and frustrating, it imported each folder in my hierarchy carefully maintained as only the name of the worksheet.

    For example, I have a folder with personal family photos stored on a hard drive named "PhotoMasters.

    So as personal, were records for each year, in each year folder for each month and each month of the folders for each day.

    I had the same structure to the professional title for paid shoots.

    Now in Lightroom, I see an entry for each day.

    LightroomStructure1.jpg

    I choose the option for the folder root to display 'path of Volume", which sorts them at least correctly, but I still have a separate line for each record sheet.

    LighroomStructure2.jpg

    The files are properly organized on the hard drive, is it possible to have Lightroom uses the structure of file correctly?

    BTW, the actual Aperture import/migration took about 30 hours of work, and that does not move the original images, as well as bonus points for a solution that doesn't require me to restart this process!

    Thank you!

    After a lot of searching around, I was able to discover the cause and solution. Apparently, in previous versions of Lightroom, there was a feature called "Add Parent folder" who moved to the display in Control Panel folder up one level. In Lightroom CC, this is what is called "Show Parent Folder" and she several applications of the command has allowed me to get a folder structure like what I expected.

  • Creating a folder structure to a defined location on your desktop of EI through the script?

    I wrote a script that creates a structure of folders in my opinion of AE project but I would then be able to run another script (possibly related to a button on a GUI Panel) which allows me to define where I can create a folder structure that is similar to my desktop or set the folder.

    Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you!

    Okay, I think I now have something that works. I tested it a little CC in 2014, but not him have really put it through the wringer. So use with CAUTION!

    It may not look pretty, but it works. The only things to know are that there is not currently a special auditor to avoid problems with name for the OS folder. The other is that if a duplicate folder name appears within the same parentFolder (see crude example below), it will be simply not created in the installation of the OS program. This prevents overwriting of files without warning.

    Example:

    What is AE...

    Folder 1

    Folder 2

    Folder 3

    Folder 4

    Folder 4    <-----Folder with="" a="" duplicate="">

    Folder 5

    Folder 4    <-----Folder with="" a="" duplicate="" name,="" but="" is="" unique="" to="" it's="">

    What is created in the BONE...

    Folder 1

    Folder 2

    Folder 3

    Folder 4

    Folder 5

    Folder 4

    Here is the code of function, just supply the type of an argument of an object file. This will be the new root folder to build your AE folder structure.

    var b = Folder.selectDialog("Choose a source folder.");

    if(b != null){
        aeFoldersToOSFolders(b);
    }

        win != (-1) ? userOS = "PC" : userOS = "MAC";
        userOS == ("PC") ? slash = "\\" : slash = "/";
        function getItemParentPath(endItem, ary, slash){

                        return null;
                  }
              }else{
                  ary.push(endItem.name);
                  var newParent = endItem.parentFolder;
                  return getItemParentPath(newParent, ary, slash);
              }
        }

        proj = app.project;
        allItems = proj.numItems;
        folderCollection = new Array();
        temp = new Array();
        newCorePath = decodeURI(newRoot).toString();
        for(var i=1; i<=allItems; i++){
