• Why an inserted picture goes outside of the html structure

  I used the insert image command to place an image on my page in Design view, but when I looked at the image in the code view, it was below the html structure. Yet, when I go to view code in the body section, that it disappears in design mode. Any suggestion of what I am doing wrong. It's never happened before. No matter how many times I have inserted the image it still of places under the closing html tag. The extension is png.

  You are missing the closing script tag. Add to that and I bet it will start to work properly.

  Hi all

  I am currently using Adobe Muse to create a site of news for desktop, Tablet and phone. Each "platform" needs a site that looks a bit different, but I want all three versions of the site to use the same items.

  Here is what I tried:

  (1) created a web page in the Muse for an article titled "furniture".

  (2) exported to the HTML page.

  (3) opens the page in my browser, and copy the HTML.

  (4) created my main site and tried to integrate my articles under my header using the copied code.

  I get my text, but all my CSS and assets are missing.

  No idea how to make this work?

  Hello.

  You should be able to actually synchronize the text between the 3 versions of your page (desktop, Tablet and phone). Unfortunately, the text must be in a style. You can then use a Style and a different size for you layouts, but always keep a style object, as far as I know. check out this tutorial to see how it's done:

  That way if you only write the text once and then just add the element 'content' to other pages, and if you change them all to change them. Important: as stated above it does not support many styles (e.g. italic or bold words in the middle of a regular paragraph) and styles are not synchronized.

  Hey!

  I wonder it is possible to edit the files to make the Web site created with Adobe Muse sensitive?

  What is complexity?  And yes I have experience with coding, not with html and css, but with languages like ActionScript 3 etc.

  ButI assume if the task was just change attributes in lines of code, team Adobe Muse will already apply, but I always ask hoping to avoid additional costs.

• Muse folder structure

  I'm building an intranet site in Muse. Links to hundreds of PDF files. I need a more complex folder structure to keep them organized. Muse will never allow the subfolders in the current folder?

  Is there a way to export the Muse in a xml site or take the HTML files and convert them into xml. Currently we have a developer taking the hosted site and converting it into a Wordpress site, then we will have an xml to send to customers (which include the site on their current site). Is there a better way to do it?

  Currently, Adobe Muse does not save your site in xml format. I'll leave this thread open to any suggestion for conversion of html in xml.

  I made some changes to a site of muse and transferred the towers in html format. Now I can't find the original Muse revisions that are now on the site. Sort of "bringing" the pages downloaded in Muse. I need to make other changes, but don't want to have to recreate the changes that I've already done.

  You can only open the .muse file in Muse. It's not a way to open the Muse .html files.

• How to publish HTML files exported with Go Daddy file transfer Panel?

  I am a beginner with Adobe Muse, so I have no experience with it whatsoever.

  All started with Muse. No experience at all with it.

  Fusion of objects Net (NOF) used so far. With the NOF software, I had to publish the HTML files in a "flat" structure, which exports all files in a single foldrer. No other records inside. Then I download all the files in the Panel of Go Daddy File Transfer, without any problem. But in the Muse, the files are exported in a folder with many files inside. Thus, when I download the exported Muse html files in the same way, the exported site is not displayed correctly. It says "files are missing. It's as if she's not read all the files I downloaded. It seems to only read one level. All other files in the folders

  Use the built in FTP in Muse.

  In the upper right corner, click on 'Publish' and select 'FTP host'

  

  You will then get a new dialog box where you enter your GoDaddy FTP account information.

  

  And then it's as simple as hitting the publish button when you want to update your site. You don't need to make it through the Panel of GoDaddy file transfer. This is the way strong and open to too many potential errors.

• How to silo muse pages

  I learned HTML, dreamweaver and flash a long ago but the struggle with css and javascript.

  So then I discovered muse from adobe that seemed to be the answer to my prayers without having to learn complex coding just all graphically design and software codes it for you.

  But my recent research in SEO has taugh me that good SEO practice is to silo pages as well, for example the site I'm trying is subject to several categories and best practices seo said the pages in each category should be partitioned in a folder named after that category but muse puts all pages of the site in the root folder and does not give an option to silo pages like that so I wondering how I can download the muse to do it for me.

  OK, so I finally got the hang of border, but have now a problem that there solution may be simple but I can't find anything online.

  I wanted to put in place the banners on my site of muse.

  If away from what I've seen everything I want to do is animate on the edge then export and import the OAM in muse...

  But what about after that? I previewd it on Muse and fin looked at him, then I downloaded FTP and the content was missing.

  This suspect is the lively edge file must be uploaded to FTP to the server, and then it would show right? Or maybe the iFrame in place... Not sure that I tried to download the file but has no result.

  Can someone please give me some advice? A tutorial or step by step for me and others with related questions to understand what files (if any) must be uploaded to the server, and where they should go.

  Personal Adobe: I think these issues spelling should be on your list of tutorials to cover from the beginning. Maybe allow users to download tutorials, then the community vote on the correctness of each of them and being recognized as Adobe as a reference to Creidible.

  Part Board Animate

  1. create the project Animate Edge

  2. When you are finished, click on the file > publishing settings (menu command) > Tick & select animate Deployment Package.  (Take note of the ' parameter of target directory - you will need to go here when you're in Muse) Then click on the button control save in the lower right.

  3. go to file > publish menu command to complete the publication process to a .oam package file.

  The process above creates a .oam file that will be 'placed' in your Muse site.

  Minimize the edge host and go to part B.

  Part B Muse

  1. create the Site with Pages.

  2. now place the edge .oam animate.

  In the Plan tab, double-click the thumbnail of the page you want to place the file edge .oam animate.

  3. Once this page is open, go to file > Place. At the prompt, navigate to the package/publish/animated / folder (which was created from A.2) and select the package file .oam.

  4. click anywhere to 'drop' / place the charged reference .oam.

  5. now animate the Edge file is placed on a page, file > save your file in Project Muse website.

  6. now, you need save the project in html format. Go to file > export to Html format.

  7. at the prompt: enter the location of domain name you intend to download these project files; Set the location (in order to save the files) in a new folder (I named this file 'museTest') on your desktop. and then click OK.

  Part B, you should now have a folder on your desktop with the muse .html files exported.

  The exported file and the structure should look like this (outside my file named museTest):

  Desktop

  > museTest (root folder)

  > assets (subfolder of the root folder)

  > css (subfolder of the root folder)

  > scripts (subfolder of the root folder)

  index.html

  muse_manifest. XML

  Sitemap. XML

  Now FTP the folder to your host.

  Part C Ftp program

  1 program open ftp of your choice (I use Filezilla).

  2 enter the identification information (ip/url, username and password) to your destination from the host.

  3. download the entire folder (mine is called "museTest") from the desktop to a folder on the remote server.

  Go to the destination of the remote folder via your browser of choice. So in my case I download the entire folder "museTest" at the root of the structure of my server I should be able to navigate the site in this way

  http://mydomain.com/museTest/

  Or if your server does not by default enabled documents you will need to navigate to it directly, like this

  http://mydomain.com/museTest/index.html
