Muse mobile site and desktop

I did two separate sites of muse, a mobile and Tablet and another desktop computer.

I want to put it together? Having to redo one of them, there must be a way

Since then, you have three files of Muse, containing different versions of your site - the least you need to do is use one of them as a starting point for any layout, say Desktop.

Add then the two other layouts with the same settings accurate like other sites. You can copy the siteplan in this step and also the filling of browser if this is common through different layouts.

Then all you have to do is copy of masters/individual Pages in the Tablet/Mobile muse file and paste in Place in the corresponding pages of the relevant provisions.

At the moment we cannot merge 3 different files from Muse to generate a single file with several page layouts.

  • Google knows that it is a mobile site and not duplicates in MUSE?

I already have a Web site, with the office and the mobile layout in the MUSE. I used the GOOGLE mobile environmental testing tool, and it showed that "my website is mobile friendly.

I did my research, and there isn't that important "rel-canonical" tag which is used to indicate to google that my mobile site is not simply a duplicate content.

    My question is

    (1) do I manually insert the tag in MUSE for Web site?  Or MUSE has already automatically supported such encoding when exporting to HTML format?

    (2) should I submit my XML sitemap for Google mobile?  Or MUSE has already automatically supported such encoding when exporting to HTML format?

    (3) is my set up correctly tracking code?   I mean, I tried to 'mirror' all my URL structures, however, when I go specifically to a page of office using my laptop, it acutally accesses the Office page instead of the mobile page "mirrored".  I can't get the mobile page only when I go to the page 'index' office, which then automatically re - directs me to the mobile site.

    Thank you!

    Hi André,.

Muse will add canonical and other tags depending on the configuration of the site automatically, so you don't have to do it manually.

  • Muse mobile site / problems with size...

I created a mobile site with Muse, and it previews fine... But when I go to a real phone my content is a third of the page and locked on the left. Why is it so small? I want to make the width of the screen... I have the width of the page set to 320.

Probably you have an empty box or box of output beyond the right side of the page. Open the model of your mobile and do a select all to highlight all on the page and see if you have an empty box off the coast of the design.

  • Quick question on mobile sites and publishing.

I currently have a site office at fabhollie.com

I would like to start designing a site phone and tablet. My question is can I publish only site office rather than all three? I would like to be able to work on the mobile site without publishing them until I finished them. Some content on my I have to update every week. Is it possible that I can make these changes on my desktop site and publish them without phone and table unfinished pages? Thank you.

    You can definitely! ;-)

Go into your properties website. Select Mobile on the left, then uncheck the button redirect down, down to the right. It will still release the mobile site to the live server so you can test it, but it will not automatically redirect until you check that box again.

It is a feature designed for exactly what you want to do.

  • While on mobile sites and can not zoom the text is blurry

on sites that recognize me as a mobile site, or use mobile sites, when I can't zoom in I have no problem with the beta 1 freeze or force close. But the text is vague and will not erase upward. While using the usual browser can't display anything it will freeze.

He also made mobile recovery force closed twice today.

The blurry text could be linked to the freezing problem - looks like text rendering could have locked up before he finished to redraw the text. There are also a few known bugs in Firefox that brings the text to look bad on Android, for example: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=600103

  • Download desktop and mobile site FTP question

    Hello

I have successfully downloaded my site through an FTP server and now works on the mobile version of my site. When I export my HTML files like I do anything differently when I download via Filezilla since I have the files of the mobile site and desktop files now?

Thank you much for the help!

If you have downloaded the desktop version of the site before you activate the phone/Tablet layouts in your file of Muse, then I suggest that you download all the files again to the server after the export.

In addition, if there is any reason that prevents you from using the Muse integrated FTP upload function, I advise you to download using that, since this way you'll be able to update your site gradually rather than having to download all the files every time or having to track changes and manually download only modified files.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you

  • Mobile site seems too small and on the left of the page

When I implemented a mobile site and put a picture on it, the live version seems too small and on the left side of the screen.

I checked if there are objects outside the framework, but it does not exist.

I tried everything: a fairly small image, adjusting the with, remove anything that might be outside the framework from scratch and put a small random image in it, etc.

    What can be the problem?

    P1210104.JPG

You can have a box that is wider than the margin of page and overlaps the right margin or something empty to the right... Check your muse file to make sure that nothing is right margin of page on the schema model or the page for the version of your phone.  CTRL + A to select the entire document... This will highlight all boxes and components. My guess is that you have a box hidden in the right margin.

  • How can I keep my complete website and add another mobile site?

    Hello

I'm not a person of coding, but have picked up pieces here and there. I am a designer who has successfully used the DW6 to design comprehensive and friendly sites over the years.

A client of mine wants me to create a mobile version of its site, maybe 3 or 4 pages of simple information, with a link to access the original site if they want more information. I understand that in today's world, by creating a new 'website' from scratch I'd the user friendly site for different devices. This site is a comprehensive, very complicated and deep site, created several years ago. If they let me such what.

In simple terms, what is the easiest way for me to create a 'new' mobile' Web site from scratch. Having nothing to do with my existing site pages (except including a link to the version full).

I have questions like, I'm starting a new site folder? How the unit is not known when they type in the field on a mobile device to access the 'mini' version and not to go to the main site (and visa versa). I have no problem in designing a cool site of 'mini' research from scratch, as its own site.

    Thank you

    3. Yes, I mean by "one-way" only once in the site mobile all links would keep you within the mobile site. And Yes, you can put a link back to the main site if you want to (link to the main site). But the problem is that once you get there, the thing of viewport will send you back to the mobile site!

You could get around the 'one-way' by adding a variable to the link that directs users to the main site. Then, on the main site, you can check if the variable exists. If she then ignores the redirection to the mobile site and simply load the main site.

Here is an example. Link to the main site

There are also ways to use javascript to check if a URL parameter exists if you do not have to rely on .php to treat the condition.

  • Mobile site is displayed on the phone - help?

I was not able to get the version of phone the customer site to display on my phone (iPhone5).  I have read other threads and tried a few things (by emptying the cache of the browser on the phone, etc.).

I checked and the setting disabled "redirection of office." When it displays the mobile phone and desktop. If not checked two devices display the desktop version of the site.

What is strange, is that a few months ago, I created a mobile version of another client site and everything worked well. Muse usually does most of the work behind the scenes, so I'm stumped.  I don't want to download the new files from site to my client "server so that it actually works.

    Thanks for any wise wisdom.

It seems that redirecting to the phone has been cut off in the properties of the Site? Go to the Site Properties dialog box, select phone and post "redirect desktop" is checked.

  • Error message when inserting any widget on the mobile site.

I get the message "some files on the server may be missing or incorrect" message when you create a separate mobile site. It happens as soon as I add a widget to the page. I have no other content or images on the site. Soon, I added a widget, the error message appears. Help, please! I've recently updated to the latest version of muse via craetive cloud.

    Hi Brad,

Thanks for getting back to me. It seems that the problem is with the last update of Muse. As soon as I restore the previous version, it's ok. I create separate sites for someone starts with the mobile site, and the problem I have is that whenever I put any widget composition in the page, I get an error saying "some files on the server may be missing or incorrect.

It's all very strange, but I also found another thread on the forum with the same number.

It works fine on a design office, but not in a mobile design. I hope this helps and I look forward to hear from you.

    Thank you very much

  • The URL loses the settings after chopping, when redirected to the mobile site

Ecwid shopping cart installed on the page via a plugin of MuseThemes the website http://www.litaastrologa.com/productos a. All Ecwid URL has #! to point to specific pages in the store. When the URL of page Ecwid is open in the mobile browser, web site redirects the user to the mobile site and all parameters after # are lost. Thus, Ecwid is unable to open a specific page of the store.

For example, if you open the page dedicated to the office http://www.litaastrologa.com/productos#! / compatibility-Negócios-y-Socios/p/50299277/categ ory = 13090316 you will see a product details page. If you open the URL even on a mobile phone, the site will redirect you http://www.litaastrologa.com/phone/productos without parameters #! / compatibility-Negócios-Socios/p/50299277/category = 13090316

We found a script that is responsible for mobile redirection:

    < script type = "text/javascript" >

    Muse.Redirect.redirect ('Office', ' tablet/productos.html', ' phone/productos.html');

    < /script >

Is it possible to modify this script and add + window.location.hash; Tablet and phone links?
