muse on SEO tutorial is obsolete

First stop, I have to say that I'm a complete newbie here. I've read the Muse on SEO tutorial as most of the search returns on Google is completely obsolete. I read that google does not take notice of the Meta tags or descriptions or H1 type topic divs or tags or whatever they are called. I filled out all the descriptions of text for images, etc., but has not used the paragraph of type H1 thingy as I read it is ignored and wishes to choose the size of my topics as and when I wrote to them to fit my idea of a beautiful page. I could not find in fact in any way to improve my ranking other than to get the link back. I'm not sure of what they are and I don't see why anyone would want a link to my site from another site other than to help me. I've done I have link back, but have no idea where it came from. That said I found my site in position 2 1 on Yahoo Search page and on page 2 of google search but the search I entered is not the one people seeking information that I propose would be implemented. Because I knew what was there I could choose a combination of words which worked by trial and error. It was an attempt to get an idea of how work search engines. I used key words I had put into the site, but I also read several times that google does not take the opinions of keywords due to abuse by webmasters. They must see their good or would not have recorded my search so prominently. I'm not selling anything and my site has a very narrow window of interest, IE more former marathon runners. If anyone can help me to allow these people to find my site, I'd love to hear about them. When I had trouble with my race I would have been very happy to read such a site. I should have realized how it was difficult to get a sensible answer to a search that I had exactly this problem myself when looking for advice for older runners. I realize that in about 1 month of live, my site is young and I have to wait for the results, but it would be good to get some real advice on SEO. SEO is a bit difficult because there are a lot of X factors. The technical aspects regarding the structure of the site, sitemap, etc is all managed by Muse so the main thing to look at is content and use of metadata.

Looking at your page for "border crossing", you have a description very short page. You can rewrite the description to highlight the actual details, as "a journal of my training experience for my first race of the * marathon here * name of the race as a senior runner." I discuss my training program, nutrition and experiences in the racing community. "You better elsewhere on the site, but like I said SEO is a difficult problem and often requires a holistic approach.

Here, we target a number of different keywords that are more generic and it does a better job summarizing the details of your page. With the help of numbers such as 80 + for example could be too descriptive as opposed to a general term as principal. You can take a look at www.google.com/en/us/webmasters/docs/search-engine-optimization-starter-guide.pdf for some additional advice from the horses mouth.

Another thing to look at is to get your material out there via social media. You can look in the integration of sharing widgets on the page as described here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5137786#5137786

You should also watch by referencing your items on other pages of marathon, start to comment on peoples othere point of view items you have and that you try to share your page (or guest post on another blog to reference your site).

Ah, the wild world of the internet. The Twitter link on the live site has been fixed. If you use demo assets on your own site design, you'll want to change the URL that is associated with all the social media buttons (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to your own social media accounts.

Muse site SEO questions

Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to Muse and Web sites in general and have created my own website for my design company using the Muse and the publication through BC via the 5 free hosting accounts I have with my subscription to the CC. I recently put emphasis on SEO that my site has not been appearing on search engines and have covered all keywords for links and more but I didn't see no progress.
Accordingly, I visited some of the tools free SEO analysis offers the web to see if I could know where the main problem lies (nibbler.com and others) and it seems that no changes/updates I post on my site are being recognized by such search engines that it is advise to my site has not been updated since September 2015 (he wasn't even then live?) what I documented will deter the search engines to improve the ranking of my site.
The other problem I have is that my site is not registered on the site Alexa? which I believe should happen automatically at a point which is also my site back.
Is this something to do with the Muse / and or British Colombia and the way I created the site?, as I said, I'm relatively new to Muse and web stuff in general, so everything is a learning curve for the moment.
If anyone has any advice or advice, it would be a great help.

You can't find or collect data is because your site is not indexed by Google, etc, I find the Site grader or seositecheckup.com useful to see how my site performs when it is temporarily hosted. Hope this helps,

Adobe Muse decommissioning SEO sites

Dear all
I spent the last week of work on optimizing my site until I have to start working on my clients sites.
To be honest, it was an absolute nightmare!
All webmasters, scanners etc. appear the following questions:
- Page requests - the more HTTP request to your Web site, it becomes slow. Combine files to minimize the number of requests. How can you do that in Muse?
- Compression - resources Compress JavaScript and CSS when possible to help your site to run faster... How is it possible in Muse?
- Make block - delete or postpone JavaScript and CSS that interferes with loading the content above both. How is it possible in Muse?
I guess the only way to deal with these in Muse is to export to HTML and then start using a compression software to sort this, but I have little confidence in doing so.
Surely the Muse team should have configured Muse to make sure everything that is processed on FTP upload or even better never existed in this way in the first place.
Also, webmasters can not see the shapes on Muse!
Also, I added my tumblr blog in an iframe, and the webmaster cannot see anyone.
Please can someone counsel of workarounds or there is no hope for my site or those of my clients.

These things are so small that they do not have your ranking at all. You can see some of the most popular sites such as Google, Facebook, etc all have the same thing.

Also do not know what you mean when you say that «webmaster cannot see...» ». Is this some sort of program Score SEO?

Adobe Muse - questions SEO my site decommissioning

I undertook a lot of SEO work with my own site Adobe Muse (before I start working on my clients sites later this week).
All the scanners, webmasters etc. include the following:
- Page - requests demand more HTTP s your site Internet, it becomes the slowest. Combine files to minimize the number of requests. How can you do that in Muse?

I'm not too confident to export websites in HTML and then use software to answer the above questions (which I assume is the only way to do it in Muse) that is to say reduce the etc.

Surely the Muse developers should ensure that the sites are compressed/set up correctly when transferred via FTP.

Anyway, to put this out there, but it's a serious problem for those who use the Muse who wants to rank really high on Google, Bing etc.

Also webmasters etc. do not recognize the shapes on Muse or my blog which is inserted into an iframe Tumblr. Too, it's very bad for the referencing of sites. Does anyone have a solution?

I don't see any problem. It's just generic stuff. None of this has nothing to do with the Muse se, in any case. Things like compression are part of the configuration of the server and refer to use of HTTP stream compressed, not packed files. Similarly, the number of page requests depends on how the server handles the workload. Of course Muse split different files for each page and create redundant duplicates is in cause, but none that makes the world come to an end, and it can always be optimized. Deferring scripts depends on their specific requirements, here again, it's a generic general statement, with little practical value. The rest, that nobody can answer without seeing things. Suffice it to say that the embedded content does not work is not really useful.

Redesign of the muse and SEO

I've redesigned a Wordpress client site with Muse. Their existing site currently rises #1 in Google (Cairns hair salon) and I want to assure you that I'm not changing it (all the sites that I have worked on that day were only new sites).
I kept the structure of the site itself with each page by keeping the same URL as the existing pages. Even the written content is virtually the same.
If I simply download the new site to replace the current site, but don't touch any of the stuff Google Webmaster, the site will remain on top?
The current site is www.scenehair.com.au and the site that I've redesigned home

Sorry for the delay but the 301 redirects are essential for when you change the language that the page is coded in. since wordpress is php and muse is html, every page needs a 301 redirect.

Here is an example:

a Web page written in HTML:

www.example.com/pagename.html

a Web page written in PHP:

www.example.com/pagename.php

It won't matter if you keep the names of same page if you Web site are coded in another language.

How do I enter sitemap settings in Muse for SEO?

I am trying to submit a sitemap to my website for SEO, but so far I do not understand the steps to find the site map. They gave me the URL doesn't seem to work, but maybe I am not connected with BC or something. I tried to use it connected to my Web site as an administrator, but it does not work.

Scaling of Images/background for Muse Pages

I work with Adobe Muse and have difficulty with sizes of web pages, especially when I try a sites page. For example, I have an a site page with images background four, one per page. (i.e. main image has, services a b picture, picture c and d image contact). I prepared my images, optimized for the web and put across the different sizes to see what works, like width 1100 pixels, height 600 pixels, then set and tested. Unfortunately, no matter what I change, the proportions always get screwed upward when I export the site. Image sizes are disabled or missing in some cases. Now, don't confuse this issue with mobile proportions. I know there are at least three designs; Mobile, Tablet and desktop. At this point, I just want to get office just before moving on. I looked at Lynda.com tutorials, even one on the sites of a webpage with Muse and this tutorial, the decorations were ALREADY perfectly proportioned. Both and the instructor does not mention how he got it. So please, can someone explain how to get the proportions of the image or a background page optimized for Web sites a page? Yes, I know screen everyone is different. I just want, more or less, as the user scrolls down, the background image or pages to be roughly one after another, instead of an unholy mess.

Absolutely useless. Learn the code from scratch. I regret wasting time with Muse I did. There is no substitute. Muse is a product that fails to respect what it promises.

How to automatically scroll constantly on the next page to muse Adobe?

Im a construction site that was originally going to be a page scroll site but I now what to place the various sections on individual pages to allow easier mounting of the content. I still want the look of the site as if it were a continusly a scrolling page site. What I was hoping to do, is that when the viewer comes at the end of a section, they can continue to scroll down, but for him to link to another page, I thought that this could be done by using anchors in a certain way. Any help greatly apprciated! Thank you

Yes...

You need what is called a "Snap scroll" widget... these widgets use anchor points as a brake to stop right where they are while hitting swipe or scroll... it will be not until the bottom of the page your shot or make scroll again... This will repeat for all points on the page anchor...

Blog of Catalyst Business works does not properly on my site of Muse

I followed this tutorial for a Business Catalyst blog on my site of Muse. Blog tutorial begins at 19:26.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, since I'm following everything accordingly, but when I publish the final version of my Web site, the blog module appears as a box of "page not found".
My blog is configured everything correctly to Business Catalyst too, and it's there. In Muse, my menus blog point to/blog.
Can someone please give me some suggestions on how to fix this?
Type of emergency, since it's for a birthday party a year tomorrow, so I need my all functional site here here. I can give a few screenshots more details if you need.

I'm new to dream and I'm buying a model Muse to act as a stand-alone site for my business. I will add in the future a blog on the site, however, not knowing any code, I wonder if this will be a problem for me, changing the content and upload images on my site of muse. Is that what someone can do or you have to be an expert to do this?

To change the content of the page at the end of Muse, you don't need to use scripts or code. You can simply change the content of the Design view with options.

About the Blog, currently Muse itself does not have this feature, but yes you can integrate third party help object items > option to insert HTML code.

Inserting an image 180 degrees that you can move in InDesign

The title is a bit cryptic, so let me explain. I do a VR app with video and need to create story boards to show examples of the screens that will be included in the application. We will use video 360' in the final application, but for now I wanted to use a panoramic photograph to show a rough appearance. I've seen a tutorial for InDesign 2014 where you can click on a picture and moves to the next in a sequence, creating the impression that the object in the image rotates. This is the tutorial Digital Publishing with InDesign CC: Panorama and sequence of images - YouTube . That looked like it was going to solve my problem, however Folio overlays etc have now been replaced by the DPS stuff so now do this tutorial pretty obsolete.
I tried to download the old version of InDesign, but the part of the content viewer does not work and I can't seem to find a way that it can be previewed or published which makes this effect works.
Is there a way or a tutorial that shows how to recreate this kind of effect on the current version of InDesign?

AFAIK Digital Publishing Suite was the only workflow where InDesign supported panoramas (note to the past) and the image sequence.

Can your app VR export a video file to MP4? That could be presented as a preview in a number of ways.
